I really want to like Kohl's more. But I just don't. As I mentioned in my award-winning review of Target, there are "Target people" and there are "Kohl's people." I simply cannot be a Kohl's person. I visited yesterday to try to find a dress for a rehearsal dinner. The store was clean and shiny and well-stocked. But it made me uneasy. The employees were not so helpful, though they were awfully chatty -- especially with each other while I was waiting to ask one of them a question. But a nice woman with a tongue ring did point me in the direction of the Ladies' room. Nice bathrooms. Nice dressing rooms, and plenty of 'em. They even have labels over the rods in the dressing rooms that say "Like it", "Love it", and "Back on the Rack" -- which is genius, in my opinion. There's never a good system for figuring out what you're taking, what you're considering, and what you'd like to throw into a fire because of the way it makes you look. Unfortunately, all my selections would have gone into the "burning fire" pile yesterday. Nothing looked good, and they really didn't have any formal wear anyway. So it would have been out of desperation that I picked something from here and then tried to dress it up with accessories. Not worth it, in my opinion, even if they do have "Simply Vera" by Vera Wang. I'm not saying you'll hate Kohl's. You might even love it. I, however, do not. read more

Located in the Avon Commons area, this location is very clean and well organized. This location carries Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavs apparel-- all with sale prices! Today I had a $10 Kohls Yes 2 You reward, a $5 newspaper coupon, plus an additional 30% off coupon. I saved almost $400 and earned $20 in Kohls cash-- can't beat that! read more

I like Kohls. My only complaint would be that the last few times I was there to get shoes I couldn't get any help. The time before last there was an older woman working in the shoe dept and seemed pretty rude, didn't offer any help and gave my son and I dirty looks any time she did look over at us so I figure ehh maybe she's just having a bad day but apparently I was wrong because it was the same situation when I brought my daughter back a week or 2 later to get shoes. However the young man that helped me in the home goods section where the bedding is was very nice and very helpful. read more

I ordered 4 items online and received $10 Kohls cash. I later returned 2 items, and had $10 deducted from each item returned for a total of $20 deducted from my order. The cashier was rude and told me there was nothing she could do and that I should stop questioning it and that she didn't like my attitude. She needs customer service classes or a new job. The manager at least acknowledged there was a glitch in the system, but said there was nothing she could do. I'm done shopping at Kohl's as soon as I spend my last Kohls cash. read more

Kohl's, I thought you were OK. You have great deals on boxer shorts and socks, really the only articles of clothing I've purchased since college. (Maybe I should work on that.) But every single pair of shoes I've purchased from you have fallen apart in less than three months. Is that why they're so inexpensive? I'm not some wearin'-out-my-shoes monster or anything. I mean, I sit down for most of the day. And whether it's business shoes, boat shoes, sandals or athletic shoes, there's always something wrong with them. Maybe I should just make my own shoes from now on (or go someplace else). read more

I like the selection and the sales that they have at this store. I like their jewelry section. It is nice.

This location is awesome! Very neat and organized and great! I love how it's one floor and customer service is right at the door so when I have to return something it's right there so I don't have to go all the upstairs. Also for any kohls, their return policy is great! You can return something without a receipt and without a tag even, and get a store credit!!!!!! read more

I LOVE Kohl's!!! I shop either at the Avon or Westgate locations. ALL of the employee's are VERY helpful and truly go out of their way to find whatever I needed...as they even go in the stock room to check the inventory to see if they have what I was looking for & many times came back with the item I needed. Prices are FANTASTIC as well as the quality!! CHEERS to the customer service as well! read more

I have to say I am very disappointed in Kohls. The experience I has today is enough for me to stop shopping there. I order two sweaters online 2 different purchases and had them shipped to my home. I needed to exchange both of them for different sizes. I went to my local store to do the exchange but they didn't have the size that I needed in either sweater. The one sweater I said just to return and the other 1 I was going to try to exchange for a different color. They claim they could not return the 1st one because it did not match my receipt. It was the receipt that I received in the mail. The packing list and the description matched the sweater, so did the UPC but because the computer did not recognize it as that item, they kept telling me they could not do the return. A manager came over and typed everything in manually and nothing came up still so what she offered to do was to return it for store credit then put that toward a payment on a my card. I agreed to it because that was the only option they gave me in this situation. The 2nd sweater that I was going to exchange I grabbed an outfit for my 3 month old nephew, because they didn't even have my size in another color, and came back up. I was told that I could not exchange that outfit for the sweater because it had to be an even exchange. I told them I would pay the difference and they said that's not how it works it has to be that same sweater just in a different size or color. Even after I told them they didn't have my size at all, they just repeated the policy. They did not even offer to completely return the sweater and have me purchase the baby outfit separately. So I decided that's fine I'll return the sweater but I'm never coming back here again. Kohls, you have dropped the ball. It is 2018. I have shopped at Walmart, Target, JC Penney's and many other retailers and I have never had this issue with an exchange before. I was trying to keep my business with your company. But your employees decided they would rather just return the item and not have me buy the newborn outfit. They didn't tell me not to purchase it but they didn't give me an alternative. I was in that store for over an hour and a 1/2 because they could not figure out how to return the 1st item. 10 minutes of that hour and a 1/2 was me going to grab that baby outfit to exchange for the sweater and then after that time they finally told me I couldn't exchange it. I'm completely finished with you. You've lost my business. I'm so disappointed in this company. read more
