Newer and nicely renovated wal mart Supercenter in the okolona portion of Louisville Kentucky right across from the Jefferson mall. So the decor and design of this wal mart is sleek and nice with that new feel to it. However the good stops there. They very rarely have anything in stock and the workers here are lazy and unmotivated. Lines move slow and the workers won't acknowledge you. I'll tell myself thanks and you're welcome sarcastically every-time I get the silent treatment. The clientele here is to put it nicely "rough". Lots of riff raff and crime happen here. Seems like the local news is always talking of robberies, child abductions and even murders at this location. So that's always fun. A long time ago there was a wal mart at this location across from the mall. It was dirty and smaller but I loved it. Because nobody went here and they had stock on everything. They since ripped that down and left for about 5-10 years and then they built This new one. Which is nice and big. But the service, stock, people and workers all here make this location a "only come here as an absolute last resort" type situation. Overall I would recommend not coming to this location. There are 3 wal Marts well within ten miles of this location that have a smidge better service and definetly better stock. read more

I was in this Walmart on September 10 2024. I went to self checkout with about 5 items. Apparently the person didn't pay for their items. I scanned my items and the total was 156.00. I told the woman working that this couldn't be right, if she would delete it and let me start over. She told me No. I argued for a few minutes and no help at all. I was in Louisville for a funeral. I paid for the bill and told her that I would call corporate. I did call around 15 times so far and still nothing. I've talked to my attorney about it. I will sue them for my money and court cost. No one will help you here. The manager is beyond rude and disrespectful to not just me but other customers as well. She will be very disrespectful to you if you ask for help! Ordered at this Walmart in error. The pick up area is to the right of the building when you are facing the store. Normally they have signs when you pull into lot, I just looked at the building and drive around. It's near the pharmacy drive thru. When I pulled in there was only one other person waiting. I was surprised that there was only one person working the pick up. Usually when I go to my Normal Walmart, there are multiple employees and they come right out when I drive up. They must be short staffed, was pleased with the substitutions they sent me prior to pick up. The lady before me had to come back for items that were missing from her order. Hopefully they called her and told her they forgot a few bags. At this location, I waited a lot longer for my order to come to my car. This is similar to my Kroger experience with click list. This is the main reason I stopped using Kroger. I was surprised they asked if I wanted my eggs in front of my car. That's a nice gesture for sure. Another employee came out towards the end of my order being placed in my car to talk about the other lady being upset about her order. pretty new Walmart here in Okolona that I'm very happy to see because I grew up in Okolona spent a lot of time in Okolona and for a while they're hopeful Ona was really getting run down so still run down and places don't get me wrong but I'm very happy that this part of Okolona in the outer loop area is really booming with new businesses and revamping old ones. Such as this Walmart is new it's nice and they offer a good selection of things for the community. So I'm happy with this Walmart and you already know everybody been to Walmart so you know what you're going to get half the size is closed tires candles and other side is food detergent and all that stuff so go to Walmart check this one out and four out of five stars read more

This Walmart is kinda hidden or "tucked away". We were surprised at the size of the store insde, much bigger then we thought it would be. The store was clean, well stocked, organized and seemed to offer just about anything you can think of. The only thing I could find wrong was the fact there were only 3 registers open along with the self check outs. They were pretty busy so we decided to do the self check out. Ali finally decided to stop when I had my latest interaction with none other than the manager. I was ready to finally bring up how many missing items and disrespect I've recieved and her reaction was shocking. She told me not only that I was in the wrong but also she didn't care that my tomatoes had real time mold on them. I'm never going back there. I've never received more de-humanization in my life. Nice walmart store. Almost didn't see it as it is tucked in back from the outer loop road. The place appears to be fairly new, or newly renovated. This is a pretty large Walmart with a variety of different items available. I really like how clean and organized this location is. I did not give 5 stars for 2 reasons: 1) there were only a few registers open (typical of Walmart) and the self checkout layout is not very convenient. It is hard to see which registers are open and everyone is clustered in a circle 2) the self checkout would not scan my coupons and the attendant sent me to customer service as she claimed she was no longer allowed to manually enter them. I had to wait in line at customer service for almost 30 minutes. Again, because they only had one attendant working the area. There were several employees wondering the area and made comments about the line but apparently were not able to help check people out in customer service. read more

When i was a little girl, I remember always coming to the Walmart located in this location. It was a basic Walmart (the Walmart was build prior to Walmart selling groceries) with a McDonald's and actual cashiers in place. They ended up closing down the store, the store becoming a church, the church closing down, and then tearing that Walmart building down to rebuild as super Walmart... the current Walmart. Now that I've given you a little location history, let's talk about the current status. I'm giving this Walmart 3 stars which is pretty high for any Walmart because Walmart's tend to suck with their 3 lanes open, 39 minute waits, no associates to assist in sight, carts everywhere, and nonexistent customer service but hey... that's what you get for "low prices" (eyeroll) The waits here are still long but not nearly as long as the other Walmart's I've come to hate in Florida. They have a lot of food items to choose from and produce appeared to be fresh. They didn't have fresh pet though... which sucks as I thought All Walmart superstores sold it. There's lots of parking, carts were actually in the store and not outside, plus as a newly built Walmart, the store is clean and organized. read more

Kinda difficult to give this Walmart less than 4 stars, not because it deserves to be recognized as a great Walmart but because it deserves to be recognized as a store that's there when you most need it. 24/7 Walmarts are literally the greatest thing. Most grocery stores close around 10pm so it's nice to have one you can rely on when it's 10:01pm. I typically visit this Walmart when I get out of a late night gym workout and need some protien and carbs to stuff down to get that muscle recovery going. They are always stocked with whatever I need and finding what I need is a breeze. The staff typically doesn't mind helping but some of them don't really know where some things are located. It would be nice if they did. I get it though, there are some very specific things they sell and I'm sure their Plano changes often. All in all this Walmart does exactly what a Walmart should do, be there and open for when you need something late late night. read more

I decided to check on an outfit at walmatt location 4840 Outer Loop, Louisville, KY 40219 to see if they had it in my size. I've been checking once a week for the last 3 months waiting to find it in my size. I found a quantity of 6 in my size. And the cherry on top was that they were on clearance. I went to check out as self check only to find they were ringing up full price. I know this because I've been checking back at this location regularly. I am instructed to take these apparel items to the customer service counter for a manual markdown. I was in formed, after having the CS associate check on it, because for 5 minutes they still were not able to reach anybody in the apparel department after multiple PAS announcements to assist,that it was not on clearance and that it was in the wrong place. I spoke with her supervisor with no luck on reaching mutual agreement to remedy the situation. I was told that it must have been a mistake. I reminded them that there were 15 more on that shelf and urged them to be aware of this problem and advised them to take the sign down. I did not get the associates names because I also had to get my elderly mother home who was sitting in the car because thus was supposed to by an in and out visit and I was too frustrated to think clearly at the time. I returned 15 minutes later and requested a face to face with a manager. We proceeded to navigate toward the alleged clearance rack where the items were still on the shelf where the missleading clearance sign was still up. And not only that, the very same clothes that I had left at the CS counter had been put directly back on the shelf with the sign still in place. And this sign was not an oversight. The sign was 3ft by 2 ft in size. It could not be missed.. it was a literal eye sore.. So the manager proceeded to get on his work mobile device to do a price check while simultaneously have a casual non work related back and forth dialogue with an employee which I thought was very disrespectful and rude as I am the customer and my needs outweigh casual conversation between staff members as a priority. He proceeded to tell my that he could offer a 10% because it was beyond his ability to match the advertised price. Now I have worked in retail my entire life and know that policy dictates we honor our advertised prices regardless of who is at fault which the in this case was Walmart. I settled for the 10% discount because, from experience as mentioned above, I didn't think this opportunity would present itself again. And to top it all off throughout the entire 30 minutes process I was not offered a single apology sincere or otherwise. I was very disappointed and will not be shopping at that location ever again. I had purchased a can of mouse for my hair it didn't work. Had taken something else back and allow them to keep my receipt. They refused to let me return it without my receipt. I ask if this was Walmart policy. The young woman became. Agitated and. Nastily told me that they don't take anything' from HB without a receipt she didn't offer to exchange it or anything I HATE Walmart. This is the most raggedy Walmart I've ever been to in my life. It's hard to find anything and when you do it's probably not in stock. I've tried curb side and my order got delayed called in to see what happened and no one answers had cancel my order. Parking lot is disgusting also read more

Every time I go in to get formula, I ALWAYS have to wait at least 10/15 minutes for someone OR my boyfriend has to go find someone to unlock it. It should not take that long especially with all of the people standing around talking. It's annoying when this is the ONE place in the area that has it stocked making us have to either wait or go somewhere else. read more

I bought ink for my printer and when I got home and opened the box, instead of the ink cartages there was a WALMART plastic bag with someone's trash inside. When I took it back to Walmart to have it exchanged they told me there was nothing they could do because the product was not inside. Thanks Caption Obvious! They treated me like I was trying to scam them, which I understand some people do. But clearly their employees are rather too lazy and ignorant to check boxes before returning them and just throw them back onto the shelves to screw the next person who purchases it, and/or their security is terrible enough to not catch someone opening boxes and stealing merchandise.
