Convenience is the main perk of this store. It has a good location. But please do not buy produce here. These were strawberries that were being actively sold in the grocery store. Also, if you buy meat or produce, please cook it within 24 hours. Most of the times when I buy lettuce or other veggies here, it gets spoiled if not used quickly. Employees are trash. I pulled up and there were three guys in the shop. Two were working and one was just talking. when the third guy saw me he walked away and went inside the building As if I was not even there. I then sat there for another 10 minutes. Good grief, if Walmart could figure out the checkout line issue, it wouldn't be as bad of a place to shop. However, having exactly three lines open with no CSMs in sight is a recipe for long lines, frustrated customers and people that never want to come back. Waited in a line for 30 minutes today, and was next in line. Lady in front of me had a problem and the cashier told us it was going to be a while, and we might want to find another line. I asked if they were going to open another line for us and she just looked at me like I was crazy. Usually this Walmart is on point. Dec1, 2021 @ 7ish pm Not today! I literally waited 20 plus minutes in the makeup section to get my daughter some nails and lashes. These items were on lock. A red lock that said see sales associate. Well we flagged down a sales associate who was a young male type. He tried to help us, by looking for some who could help us. Poor thing he left 3 time, to go get help. Well, help never came. I wish someone would have been on standby in that area to help or a help button to receive assistance. Pretty disappointed. While I waited, I also called Walmart and I waited again and no one answered. Really sad. read more

I've got to say that Walmart Pickup is one of the best things Wally World has given me in a very long time. The last thing in the world I want to do after a long day of work is wheel a cart around the store hunting for groceries. I love being able to virtually load my cart schedule my pick up for a time of the day that works for me. Yesterday I scheduled for pickup during my lunch hour and it was super fast getting my groceries picked up and back to my house. There are only two things that stood in the way of this being a five star review. 1. Receipts from Walmart Online do not generate the QR code recognized by coupon apps like iBotta which means I can't extend my saving. No bueno. 2. The mobile app works best if you place your order from the app. When I placed mine from my laptop while signed into my profile and then tried to use the app to signal I was on my way, the app didn't automatically pull up my pending order pickup. I ended up just calling them since I was already in the car. Regardless, I LOVE this service! read more

This is the worst Walmart I've been to in my life. They basically treated me like a criminal when my bank card kept getting rejected. I have plenty of money in my account and even used my card elsewhere before and after the incident and all was well. I was so embarrassed as they said it was somehow my fault, so I had to leave all of my groceries there. This is probably the best Walmart in Lubbock. Sometimes the food shelves, even during the week, are not fully stocked. In general store is neat and clean. What prompted this review was I needed a technology accessory. I wanted to make sure I got the right one so I didn't have to do an exchange later. There was a guy at the POS. I showed him my broken piece and said i needed a replacement. He immediately took me where I needed to go AND gave me a brief description of my choices. That was awesome. Thank you so much. One other time I couldn't find something and an associate guided me to the right spot, despite I was only about three feet from the right spot AND the associate did not make fun of me for missing the item in the first place. Have been taking cars to this Walmart for oil changes (and a couple of tires) since close to the time it opened, mostly because it's nearly always less crowded and they almost always get it out faster than other places (including other Walmarts), and also because the store is so huge and so nice, so if you're doing any shopping while the car's getting fixed, it's a good place to do it. In addition, almost anytime another Walmart is out of stock or doesn't carry an item, this place has it. But the rest of the store aside, the auto center has been really good. Then, last oil change, the driver's-side window fell off the track when they rolled it down as a safeguard against locking the keys in the car. They almost certainly did nothing other than operating the window, and assuming that's the case it certainly wasn't their fault, but since it happened while they had it, they paid to have it fixed literally the next day, and not in a pissed-off or grudging way. At all. Not after any pressure, either. They just offered to do it, and they did it. Can't say enough good things about the place. read more

Racism is real, this place doesn't even deserve a star, all my items were in a bag, never set off an alarm but because I'm hispanic a white employee, Joey Shelton, felt the need to check my bags. Mind you the other white people in front of me who didn't have items in their bags were not checked. I told him he could not check my bags at which point he proceeded to yank my cart from my hands. This is one of the nicer Walmart's in town. The downside is that they usually don't have enough cashiers to check everyone out. The staff is hit and miss from my experience over the pat few years this location has been open. read more

I live in another part of Texas and this was my first time in this Lubbock store. I was also sick, and had to find one item and get out quick. Most of the employees I encountered in this store did not display great attitude, nor were they especially helpful or kind. But one, ADRIAN, was really superb, very helpful and went out of his way to make sure I had a good experience, and I want to give him a shoutout. Because of HIM and him alone, this store rates a 5. Called to see how much to swap 4 tires to a different rims and if they could do it. Kinda pricy but had no choice was Sunday so not very many places open was told to be there by 5 to get it done. When we first got there the guy that wrote us up told us to show the tech what we were needing done. Two techs came out to see what was going on. My brother stayed inside as I went out side to show them. As I was showing them what we needed done both techs were arguing with me about the tire sensors. Mind you I am a mechanic I have over 18 yrs experience. I would have done it my self but no tire machines at the house. So when I was talking to one tech the other one went back inside. I guess he was saying to him self that I didn't know what I was talking about and so forth. He didn't know that my brother was standing there listening to the whole thing. My brother then went to the cashier and asked for a supervisor. The cashier stated that they have not had a supervisor for months now. I came back inside to let my brother know what was going on. We then decided that if they did not know how to take the sensors off properly we would go to discount tires on Monday. Told the cashier to tell them to drop the vehicle. They really need to relearn how to properly deal with tire sensors and other safety issues. read more
