I needed to fill a couple of prescriptions and so i thought id give walmart a try. They told me 35 to 40 minutes knowing that i had just been in an accident. So after 35 minutes on pointless capitalism i went to the counter and ask if my prescription was done to which she replied 30 minutes i told her it had already been and she repeated herself. So inconclusion if you donr want to spend endless hours shopping try elsewhere. read more

I created my Yelp account just to leave this review: I understand that most reviews are created by people just to complain about a current situation so I've committed to myself to leave at least one positive review for every negative one I feel obligated to leave. I'm new to Louisville, Ky (as of 6/2017) so this is only my third trip to this Walmart. I HAD THE SAME ISSUE WITH ALL 3 OF MY VISITS! The first time it happened I blamed it on being just a random occurrence, the second time got me a little upset but i waited the 45 minutes and went on with my life, but this time I decided it was time to attempt to make some kind of difference. All three trips they've had ONE LANE OPEN and self-checkout closed, with customers backed up nearly to the middle of the store. This has always been in the early evening so it's not like I'm visiting at 2 am each time. Tonight, (12/8/17 @ ~8:15pm) upset customers were complaining loud enough to be heard by other Walmart employees, but none of them willing to do anything about it. One of the employees even had the yellow "Manager" tag under their name tag and was asked by a cashier if he could open another register and he just gave a quick, rude "NO" and kept on walking. I had spent over an hour and had nearly $300 worth of stuff in my cart or I would've left it all sitting right there at the checkout line, even though it's completely against everything I believe in. This Walmart location goes completely against everything that was important when their brand was originally created and the first store was open. I'd strongly suggest doing whatever you can find another location to purchase anything - even if it costs you a little more money. As another example, a guy with a flat tire had waited 35 minutes tonight just to buy fix-a-flat. One item. Your time is much more valuable than that but this Walmart doesn't care at all. What an absolute mess. This should be a nice organiz d store due to its location. I have a special needs child who also has a broken leg. I spoke to 2 associates to help me find a wheelchair. They told me they only had electric scooters. I can't give a special needs 9 year old an electric scooter to drive! The school supplies and toy sections were terrible. I couldn't find prices for anything and all the folders were messed up. I needed a lot of items today but was only able to get about 10% due to no wheelchair and the messy shelves. Got food poisoning not once... but TWICE from this Walmart's deli chicken. The first time I thought it was some other food that made me so sick. I didn't think twice buying another chicken the next week. Terrible mistake. Horrible stomach cramps and I've thrown up twice. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

Visited the store tonight, walking by the electronics department, I was verbally accosted by a Direct TV sales person... after this young man yelled questions at me, I politely told him I had a service and was happy with my current provider. This guy continued to yell at me in an abusive manner as I walked away. I was all the way to the automotive department before he relented (with a "snotty" remark... At checkout I asked to speak to the store manager, but nobody knew who he was or where he was.. ATT needs to fire that sales guy or give him some lessons in salesmanship. read more

This is the worst store on the entire planet, I have no doubt. Horrible customer service. Very slow cashiers. Only one or two lanes ate usually open at this store, with long lines. I believe they are understaffed. I have a back problem, so I ask the person bagging each time to please bag lightly because of my health issues. I cannot remember how many times I have stood by the bags and had to redistribute the goods because the bags were overpacked. This is done even after pointing it out repeatedly to the same cashier during the same visit. I used to 'put up' with this store because I thought they were cheaper. Not true. With Kroger card, I get great prices there. I will NEVER go back to this store again. read more

This Walmart is the best one I've been to in Louisville. The few times I've been in, it's been clean and organized and the employees have been friendly. While it's still not enough to pull me away from the red bullseye, it's definitely a good choice when compared to the one off of Westport Rd and the neighborhood market Walmarts. read more

This store has some of the slowest worst customer service employees you'll ever see. There are some excellent long term employees, but some are so bad it's unbelievable. WalMart could learn so much if they studied Target's customer service policies and trained their employees like Target does. read more

I have never seen such slow and sloppy people working in customer service. One girl keeps checking her phone another keeps reminding everyone that she's "bout to go on break." Lazy! Best wal mart in Louisville by far, super clean. Makes other walmarts in the area feel like Kmart.

I have had good experience ordering online with my new Walmart credit card until today. My wife place and order for a new computer printer on 16 September. It, to this day, has never arrived. A number days ago the order was cancelled. The charge for this cancelled order is still pending on the Walmart credit card site. I contacted, online, the Walmart credit card messaging service and spent TOO much time texting to and fro with "John Smith" who told me to contact "the store." He was completely ineffective solving the problem and directed me to an 800 number. The 800 number was completely automated, ie no humans to help. A BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! Walmart apparently doesn't monitor their third party vendors. Walmart's support here was a waste of time but real good at building frustration for customers. read more

They don't even deserve 1 star. I drove across town to shop for Christmas decorations - I didn't know exactly what I wanted just to find a couple things to put in my window. They have 2 sections of Christmas 1 on the main floor next to lawn and garden and then the things inside lawn and garden. The shelves outside of lawn and garden were bare. There were a small handful of things and I did find a couple of things I liked but there wasn't much. When I went to go into lawn and garden there was a pallet in front of the door. An associate was sitting there on his phone and jumped up to tell me it was closed. I asked what time they closed and he said he thought 8 - I noted that that was not posted anywhere at which point I was told that people were "stealing" the black friday items they kept there. It took several minutes but I finally got the story - apparently some people ordered black friday deals online and instead of keeping these items safe in the backroom they sat them on the salesfloor and thought no one would get into them - you know thinking they were for sell since they were sitting on the sales floor. When I said that was a bad idea I was told that lawn and garden is not part of the sales floor - because you know they never keep stuff there or let people shop from there. Anyway I went looking for a manager and found a young man in the shoe department who helped me - he was very kind and called over the walkie for a manger at which point the manager - IN FRONT OF ME - told him to tell me he was the manager. The guy tried to play it off and asked if he could help me. When I explained he called for the manager again. Now I was fully excepting either them to move the items to the backroom or else simply say you're right this was badly thought out I'll talk to my boss about it in the morning I'm sorry. That never happened. The manager - Justin - or at least he said he was the manager he may have lied - listened to me for all of 5 seconds said that if I needed something specific they could get it for me and when I explained that did not help he screamed in my face that I "just need to leave." I have worked retail for 15 years and I have never seen a manager act like that. read more

I came for Scotch guard and no one in the store could find it. Bought some staples like TP while there. There were only two checkouts open and each was at least 6 people deep. Next time I'll go to Target. read more

Brian in Electronics is awesome. He had already clocked out but all of the others employees were helping other people so he walked over to see if I need help with a TV. He spent 20 minutes helping me on his own time and even though they did not have what I was looking for he told me to call him the next and when I did he already had the information of a store who had it. The whole department is very helpful and knowledgeable. read more
