My boyfriend and I came here to grocery shop. We were looking for tooth picks and since their store is so large we weren't sure where they would be. In a hurry, we asked an employee. First one was no help. He randomly said some aisle which led us to the chips section. We asked 3 more employees, no one could find it for us -____- I guess were going home with no toothpicks. So crappy!!!! I happened to get the same cashier I did in December had the worst experience with him! I worked as a cashier and customer services and no matter what you always treat the customer with curtesy and respect. This past Saturday I went here to get some things for our beach trip and my kids were acting up. I put all our food the ice chest we bought and that was that I need to do two separate transactions too. So Thomas looked at the ice chest and stuck his hands up and got so angry and he said two separate transactions ok! Um ugh ok and still continued to scan my items so I took all the stuff out of the ice chest and he scanned it and that was that. So rude and there was no reason to get angry like that! This location is usually always super clean & always convenient because it's a super Walmart. However, the few times I've gone here each employee I interact with is always so rude. I asked one if she knew where they carry Aquaphor (for scars, etc.) she looked at me with a straight face & said, "I don't even know what that is". I get it, but don't try to make me feel dumb. Another lady was in charge of the self-check our area, and I had all my items in my own bag because I did not grab a cart. She literally stood by me the whole time I checked out and watched me grab and scan my items. I'm sorry, I may be broke but I will still pay for ALL of my items. I bought two air mattress paid a lot off money for them. Both don't hold air I never saw the sing posted on the display shelf notifing the customers that there is only 15 day returned policy on unopened items for the air mattress and only exchange on open boxes... worst off all if you exchange they open the boxes . I went to this walmart to get this new movie that had just came out. I asked a worker if it was out yet or if it was gone. She tells me to come back in an hour, it is barely going to be stocked up. I waited in the car, went in an hour and a half later. The same worker saw me standing there already atleast 15 minutes and doesn't say anything. This place sucks, but I always stop here on the way out to hunting trips. Getting someone to help you get ammo out of the locked area takes an act of congress. They also were out of 36 packs of beer when i was there last time, tragic. It normally takes me 30 minutes if I am lucky to try to buy ammo, get really frustrated and walk away from the ammo section then buy beer and beef jerky before I leave. Stay away from racist cashier Sandra. Unbelievable service. Doesn't even greet you, nor look at you. Even when treated very politely, she will not give af. This used to be my favorite walmart but we i went to apply for a credit card and use the when you spend 300 you get no intrest for a year but the cashier said that she didnt no what it was and never asked so when i insisted she did we have to cancel the hole transaction and scan eveyrhing again just for it to be denied long story shot i stood there for 2 hours and didn't get anything i needed and its been three days since and the money still isnt on my card and when i called to talk to the manager they hung up on me after i waited for 20 mins once i got ahold of someone they where no help read more

I went to buy something off my friend's registry here. First of all the item I was looking for is shoved in a corner could not even tell if it was that or not (thank goodness I can read upc's). So I go up to the Register's the same exact item online( walmart website) is 20.00 cheaper the lady at the cashier said they dont price match an item in their own store!!! So after going back and fourth I finally gave up.Then I realized I forgot to ask for a gift receipt and asked her if I could get one she said I had to go to guest service. I go to Walmart at least 4 days a week because I live so close and they are inexpensive. Every time I go they are so under stock and have to wait in long lines. Couple times I go there they were sold out of cigarettes. You know when Walmart is under stock when they don't have cigarettes. Walmart needs more cashiers and more people to stock. read more

I do A LOT of my shopping at Walmart, it is very convenient, right on my way home from work, and they have my bank right inside. BUT.... they never have enough regular registers open, so the lines are always so long. Pharmacy at this Walmart was amazing! I had three different people help over my visit. The initial guy helped fill my order that was faxed over from urgent care and I got the price from him. I was shocked at the price so the pharmacist stepped in and offered to call the urgent care to see if they could change the prescription for a cheaper one. Unfortunately the urgent care said no and I agreed to pay the price. When I went to check out the lady, Toni, helped me out by offering a discount card to save on my prescription! She saved be $20 on a $55 prescription!! All the people working on Saturday were amazing and helped me feel emotionally better while I felt like crap!! Shout out to the most amazing-- TONI!!! Heres the difference between walmart and Target: Yesterday I order my sons birthday gift through walmart online site to store at 6:52am received a confirmation email stating my order would be ready no later than 10:42 am. I call at 2:50pm to see what was going on with my order just to be told it still wasn't ready and to give a call back in 30 mins to see if its ready. I call back 1 hour later just to be placed on hold for 20mins+ while simultaneous holding to speak with a supervisor on a different phone (the supervisor never came to the phone) when the site to store employee finally picked up the phone my order still wasn't ready so I told her to cancel the order. I receive an email from walmart today at 9:01am saying part of my order was ready for pick up. Today I order an item from Target online pick up at 9:53am and received a email at 9:57am saying my order was ready for pick up. This is why I'm a Target girl! Walmart needs to take some customer service classes from Target because the lack of care in this store is horrible. This is why I hardly ever shop here. read more

The people here work hard. The only problem i see here is just with management there is no such thing was out of stock is normal and a good thing. It is not being completely honest where i used to live being out of stock on a regular basis just never happened. The manager, Alex, went above and beyond to open up the photo shop in the store at 7am so I could get the pictures I needed before work. This Wal-Mart is really clean and well stocked. The employees have a "can do attitude." They carry walky talkies and get associates to help you right away if they can't answer the question accurately themselves. I have read the reviews on yelp, and I have to say that people need to clean up after themselves! You shouldn't expect the store employees to clean the bathroom stall after you, or your kids! Free Public Restrooms in stores are a privilege! I have watched customers allow their kids to tare through the store leaving a wake of destruction and their parents turning a blind eye. I have watched other customers actually start eating food items sold in the store BEFORE they actually paid for the item getting food on store merchandise then discarding the wrapper with out a care about paying for the item they ate, or the other items they damaged. I have seen people shopping there in their pajamas, curlers, and toting kids clad only in diapers yet the employees treat them as they are family. Personal Responsabulity people, and thank you Alex and the dedicated employees at the Moreno Beach Wallmaet that are there for me and my family 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When I check out, the cashier has a smile on her face even when I am in the wrong line to buy my husband's cigarettes. They ask politely if NEXT TIME that I use lane 20 as that one is designated for purchase of that item as they call to get the cigarettes by exception never embarasing me or refusing my request. I don't know, but when I shop at other grocery stores the cashier is talking on the phone, or to a associate about their schedule. They ignore me and are not focusing to make sure the item is priced appropriately, or that I am not charged twice. I don't know, but some of those stores should send their managers over to Wal-Mart and have Alex give a class on customer service where leading by example is included. The manager, Alex, helped me. He wasn't too busy or on a break to go above and beyond, and I am greatful. read more

I've been to a few different Walmart's and this would be my favorite, its clean and always enough cashiers and good customer service.

I recently bought a set of 4 brand new tires (Douglas brand by Goodyear) at this Walmart. I couldn't pass the deal up as it was less than $300 for all 4 which comparatively with other tire places is practically unheard of. However, I returned 3 times until this purchase was done correctly. The first time I returned was same day. As I was driving away I stopped to check the tires because while I waited I happened to notice the technician put on these incredibly large tire weights on the rims which I had not ever had with any tires I'd purchased before and so I was in doubt of the service performed on my car. Low and behold as I checked I noticed that the technician put 3 like and 1 mismatch tire on my car. I immediately returned to have corrected and the technician checked and realized he made an error. He gave me a fist bump and said "good catch". I was not left at ease with the statement but accepted and left. As I made it to the freeway I noticed the car started to vibrate fiercely when I reached speeds of 55 to 70 mph. I realized that the balancing done by the technician was done incorrectly. I returned the following week and described the problem to the same tech. He took and re-balanced by removing the large weights on the outside of rim and explained he placed on the inside. Again, as I made it to the freeway the same problem existed like before. I returned again for 3rd time to finally get a technician that knew what he was doing. He listened to my description of the problem and proceeded to work on the problem. Third time was a charm. My only suggestion for this auto shop would be to find out if these technicians are certified or if they're taught in house. If the latter I wonder if the training is very substantial if at all. I'm happy with the tires now but I would be hesitant to go back to this auto center. read more

My son went to the Walmart Super center on Moreno Beach this afternoon to purchase a bicycle. He asked the bike techs to tighten the the front and back tires. They refused saying that it was fine. One of them said "Wouldn't want your bike to fall apart" as my son left. Well on my son's way home, both tires rattled so bad that my husband had to go tighten the bolts, it was un-drivable and extremely dangerous. This was very cruel and dangerous on their part. My son has a form of autism and was completely panicked. If they don't like their job enough to do it right, move over so someone worthy can be hired. They are lucky an accident didn't occur. They would of been liable. I would ask "Wouldn't want you to lose your job". it seems if they don't care for autistic children they mistreat them for some sick enjoyment. They may not be so lucky next time. Safety is in their hands and their duty is to provide it to everyone they serve. read more

Walmart will be Walmart. It's as simple as that. Sure you can find everything that you are looking for, because they probably carry it and for a cheaper price, which is good. It's got a big parking lot and one security guy that drives around, but there's baskets everywhere so watch out where you park if you're not looking to get a dent or damage to your car. I don't know if it's the ventilation, but there's this distinctive smell of body odor upon walking into the store. Check out this pretty fast, especially at the self checkout. You can't buy alcohol at the self checkout. Returning something closes at 10 PM and the alarm at the dork is constantly going off, at least when I'm there. Whatever negativity that I gave in this review, still doesn't stop me from coming here to buy some certain things that I can get cheaper than anywhere else except online or Amazon.com.
