Damaged ground beef, slit in back and unsealed pack received. Juice from ground beef spilled over other items

Walmart pick up order. Ground beef pack damaged, seal not closed with bunch of air inside. Juice from ground beef spilled over my other items. They also forgot to put second order in trunk. Instead of honoring refund without having to drive back out there I had to connect with one of their agents to request refund. Request is in review.

Niles Walmart Auto Service

Walmart told me they don't take appointments for battery exchanges, which I thought I needed. I arrived at 7:30 AM, before another customer who had an appointment for a different service. As a returning, dissatisfied customer, I expected to be helped first based on the first-come, first-served principle. Since they may have installed a faulty battery for the second time, they should prioritize correcting their mistake. The first time, I had to wait over two hours. I firmly explained that I was told appointments aren't available for battery services and that this was a request to correct their error, not a new installation. After waiting an hour and a half, it only took them five minutes to check my battery--just to tell me it was good and the size was compatible. The supervisor kept insisting, "We didn't make an error; the battery is good." But as a returning customer with a complaint, I could have been told that over an hour ago if providing quality customer service was your first priority instead of being made to wait unnecessarily.

My order of pizza x 9

We always do pick up at Wal Mart for the convenience. Generally good, occasionally dented soup cans, moldy strawberries but okay. Today was very frustrating. I did my pick up and when I got home I had 9 pizzas, only ordered one. And 2 milks, only ordered one. The 9 pizzas were $35 so I had to drive back and return the items. I tried the pick up area, and the guy said I have to go in. As I drove away he said "good luck"! Got to return counter, waited 10+ minutes and finally got someone to help, he was good, a sorry. He mentioned to a manager with long hair and said wow, did you pay for those? I said yes, but I did not order 9. He walked away. I get Walmart is not Whole Foods, but this was a real hassle and nothing offered. I'll probably keep going, but now I will get out of the car and oversee the order as it's loaded into my trunk. Low prices, low service.

I'm occasionally asked why I drive 20 minutes to Walmart when Target, Costco, and Mariano's are closer and have great selections in nicer environments. Whatever I save in money at Walmart, I pay for in time and frustration. And yet, I love Walmart because it is very grounding. The people here are real. They're often struggling to get by, many are new to this country, and way more than half are on SNAP. There is no shortage of young families shopping late night after working a shift somewhere. There's no pretension. The place reminds me of my immigrant roots, the scarcity my parents knew, and that we're all in this together.

This is the open package. Pulled it out of the bag and this is what I saw.

Currently growing old waiting in line. ALL lines are slowly moving. Just a slow Tuesday afternoon. They need new cashiers.

I guess I've never reviewed this shopping complex, but we've been here a million times over the 13…read moreyears we've lived in the vicinity. The massive area was previously the site of the Glenview Naval Air Station and this shopping center is the heart of the huge Glen residential community as well. There are numerous shops and restaurants here and it's always a pleasant experience to visit. Like Fashion Outlets in Rosemont, every time we visit there is something new here. One business or another has left and another has stepped in. The rent must be high here, and if you don't continually draw the requisite traffic, you won't survive. We've seen a lot of businesses come and go. Remember Ted's Montana Grill? - it was a favorite of ours and also one of the first to disappointingly close in our earlier years, and that's now The Oak at the Glen, and in a prime location. Some of our favorite and long standing and still standing businesses here are Von Maur, Dick's Sporting Goods, and the Yard House. I could probably name another 20 shops or restaurants we liked or tried here, but that have all since closed. Jibek Jolu is a relatively recent addition that we like for what that's worth. We were going to try Dee's Place (soul food) one day, but dang, they closed before we even got to it, and that was a big investment in a large space for that restauranteur, and too bad. It can get busy and crowded, but nicely there is alway parking to be found in one of their parking lots. Oh well, business is tough here for the tenants, but for us consumers, this is a great upscale town center.

I'm not sure what's taking me so long to put a review here for the Glenn in general. Especially…read moresince I've been coming here since they opened at least 15 or more years ago I believe. The only reason I'm giving it three stars frankly is because even in the last almost 20 years I believe that they've been open unfortunately there's been a lot of turnover when it comes to the restaurants. I'm not sure if this is simply due to high rent, but there's really nothing that the Glen or its Landlord are doing in order to provide any real stability and it's rather unfortunate. Also, since this place was built, the parking situation has always been a challenge and it continues to be. In fact, it just gets worse with all these special parking places and reserve spaces that continue on the main strip. I do hope that things get better, but with the way that it has been structured and built there really is no opportunity for expansion whether being retail and restaurant space or even for parking I will say it's been great to see the movie theater Von Maur as an example of two establishments that have been here I believed the entire time this place has been open Similar to a lot of other moles, there's a lot of empty spaces and vacancies and it's very sad especially when it's surrounded by million dollar homes in a suburb of additional multimillion dollar homes

They are in a pretty large and well spaced out strip mall that includes a Kohl's, an Aldi's, and several eateries as well. We don't go here often, mainly for household knick-knack items and when coincidentally nearby, but it is one of my favorite Target locations.

I have been shopping at Target Glenview since it opened over 20 years ago. I can say that I like…read moreshopping there. However, in the recent couple of years, I don't know what is wrong with their customer service department. It used to be friendly, polite, and competent. Now, their customer service, especially some of their managers, who are arrogant and unaccommodating, could easily ruin the whole shopping experience. Recently, a couple days before Christmas, my good shopping experience was ruined by the middle-age female staff, named Luba, at the self-checkout stations. Then it was further worsened by her manager Alex. When there was a discrepancy between the scanned price and the price listed on the rack, Luba refused to ask someone to verify the price or honor the posted price. Instead, she insisted the scanned price must be correct and told me that if I did not like the price, I did not have to buy the item. To avoid wasting time, I chose not to purchase one item and paid the higher price for another. At the end, I was supposed to get a gift card from a deal. Nowadays, for security reason, Target would need their staff to put a sticker on the gift card, then scan it to link it to my account. However, after Luba put the sticker on the gift card, she didn't know what to do. She kept scanning the gift card as if I was using it for the transaction. Her action made the purchase system acting weird. Then she questioned if I was eligible for the gift card, and got her boss to help. Her boss was Alex. I had dealt with him numerous of times. He never smiles, acting in a condescending way, had never accommodated. This time, he said that the system had stopped working, and he had to void the whole transaction and re-scan everything. Needless to say, I was not happy. I said it's wasting my time. Then he responded by saying "it's wasting my time too"! I said he got paid for it. The he mumbled something. What kind of attitude was that? He was the customer service manager who needed to correct the mistake made by his staff. When I said the female staff didn't know what she was doing, he dismissed it by saying that Luba usually does not work in that area. That explanation is unacceptable, she was assigned to assist customers at self-checkout and should have been properly trained. It would have been fine if both of them just apologized for my inconvenience, but neither of them did that. No sorry, no thank you, Target really need to re-train their customer service staff of the Glenview store to understand what good customer service is.

I called before I came in. I have gargantuan feet and didn't want to waste time going to stores…read morethat didn't carry shoes in my size. The staff were very helpful on the phone so I drove over to check it out. We're heading to Walt Disney World so I wanted to have some great quality shoes to get me through long days. Nancy was really helpful on the phone and so was the guy who originally picked up the phone, and I know Nordstrom usually carries my size even in sneakers so it was worth stopping in. We were off to a bit of a rocky start when I got in. There were a lot of customers and several staff, but nobody said hello or please go here for help or anything. I was annoyed when I noticed a couple staff standing around at the register not doing anything even though they were literally more than a dozen customers in the shoe department, and as I was considering whether to leave or go ask for help an employee asked if I was being helped and said she'd get someone for me. Elise (perhaps Alise?) was incredibly helpful. She picked out a bunch of shoes to try on; I think she brought me about 10 different pair. I'd never tried Hoka before (I've especially been a fan of New Balance and Asics) but these were amazing shoes. They were so cushioned, it felt like I was bouncing on a cloud and could barely feel the steps I was taking. Sold! I really appreciated the help provided and that Elise suggested a couple other options when I mentioned I liked a pair of the Hokas but they felt just a bit snug, and then we found the right pair. I didn't realize they had a cafe here, but there's one just as you enter the doors from the east side of the building. They have a good selection of baby stuff as well, including strollers, which are harder to see in person now that so many people shop online. Nordstrom is my favorite higher end (to me, at least) store and I was glad to have stopped here for my most recent purchase.

I was disappointed with my experience at Nordstrom in Old Orchard…read more My friend was interested in a fragrance and asked if it would be possible to get a sample. The associate simply told us that they don't provide samples, without any explanation or effort to help. What made the experience worse was the attitude -- it felt rude and dismissive, and there was no apology or customer-focused service. I've visited other Nordstrom locations before and have always had great experiences with polite, professional, and attentive staff. That's why this visit was especially disappointing. Customer service is one of the reasons people choose to shop at Nordstrom, and unfortunately, this location did not meet those expectations. I hope management pays attention to the customer experience and provides additional training to ensure guests feel welcomed and respected.
