I want to give a huge shoutout to Jonathan at the Target Rosemont customer service desk. We were just there today, January 19, 2026, and had such a great experience. Jonathan was incredibly patient, kind, and truly went out of his way to help us. Even though he only had about 30 minutes left on his shift, he didn't rush us at all. Jonathan and his shift supervisor worked together to make sure everything was handled smoothly, and we literally just left feeling very pleased. It meant even more because my son was celebrating his 13th birthday today, and thanks to Jonathan's excellent customer service, he left as a very happy shopper. Target has always been overpriced on most things in my opinion. On my recent visits I've discovered that they've lowered their prices and become competitive on staples like pet food and groceries. Not on every brand, but on enough items to be noticeable. Some departments have a huge selection, and others not so much. If there are men's shoes I haven't found them. They also don't carry clothing if you're a big guy. Of course, if you want something trendy they've got it. Service is hit or miss. Luckily, they haven't yet replaced all of their cashiers with self-checkout. Thank you for that, Target. My biggest complaint is that this store is large. Like, I think the groceries are located about five miles away from the front entrance. The pharmacy is two and a half miles. Oh, and my better half just reminded me that the Dramamine is located on a bottom shelf. Dramamine is to help you when you're dizzy. What evil-hearted merchandiser decided that it was a good idea to make dizzy people bend over to find the one item that could help them? SMH. read more

This Target isn't the closest to our home, but it is the biggest and newest. We've also found that it has the most inventory, compared to the closer Golf Mill Target in Niles anyway, and that items for an online order are often readily in stock. Even if items are not in stock, they are shipped and often available in just a day or 2. They have a big and open parking lot and it's part of a biggish strip mall. In fact, it is located right next to the Allstate Arena, and I'm sure some folks have parked in the Target lot for an event but I've never taken that chance myself! This Target has the usual grocery section, a CVS pharmacy, an optical department, a Starbucks, and an ULTA station. Target is a handy franchise to have around with their good prices on miscellaneous goods, but a particular thumbs up for this location! read more

I had a very large shopping trip and somehow a bag got left behind, but the bag was never found. I called in to let them know and see if they could find the bag, but it was not found so they recommended that I come in with my receipt and I did and they went shopping and replaced the five items that were missing. Knowing what to expect from every Target no matter which part of the country one is in. Needed to pick up washer fluid for our rental car, and we knew that Target would carry some version of it, so we stopped in on our way to our destination. The small automotive section is near the home improvement section, and consists of things like car air freshners and armour all wax. They even had two different brands of windshield washer fluid with different prices, so of course, we picked the lower cost choice. I'm assuming that it was a good price ($3.99?). We had plenty left after we filled up both canisters (front and rear wipers), so left the rest for our mom's car. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. We were at your Target on Thursday 7/25/24. We were stopping to get a pack a water for our stay as our hotel was on the other side of All state arena, your Target was the closest thing to a store for us to get water. On our way out of the store after purchasing said pack of water we noticed that there was no line at the merchandise tent of All state arena and wanted to check it out. We checked out of Target at 3:49pm. Give a few minutes of us going back to the car to put the water away (that's 3:55pm). We walk over to the tent and back (maybe 5minutes so 4:00pm) and our car was missing. Give us a few minutes for freaking out that our car is gone thinking someone stole it and walking back into Target to see if you guys have cameras (4:05pm). 4:07pm was when we called the towing company. We saw the sign about no event parking after we came back to Target. My complaint is that it wasn't even event time, you guys had plenty of parking spaces so it wasn't even like we were taking up a spot for potential customers, and you guys were losing them because we had a parking spot. We were a customer for you guys. We weren't even parking there for the event. We weren't gone for more than 7-8 minutes and you guys had our car towed. Almost as if the towing company was there camping, waiting for you guys to tell them to because the towing company is further than 10 minutes away. I'd understand if we were gone for more than 30 minutes and our car was left there but we weren't gone for even 10 minutes. We couldn't believe how fast our car had gotten towed we thought it was stolen, to give you a sense of how long we were gone. On our way back after having to retrieve our car after this ridiculous situation we had to drive back past target to get to our hotel. Who was in the parking lot just driving around back and forth? A towing truck. So my question is are you guys benefiting from this towing company? To have them be sitting in your park lot just waiting to tow cars? It's ridiculous that we had to go through that situation when we weren't even parked there for the event. On top of that paying for the towing, again, when we weren't even gone for 10 minutes. I get it. At the end of the day we had left our car and went over to the tent so it gives you the right to tow it but maybe be a little more considerate and not have towing trucks sitting by, especially when you have tons of customers who come to you because of the events that happen. I think it's a ridiculous situation that we weren't gone for even 10 minutes and you had our car towed. I'm guessing you guys have people sitting there watching your cameras so you saw that we purchased water and left. But you would've also saw that you had plenty of parking spaces. I can only imagine how many customers have had the same experience. Don't just assume everyone sees your sign out front. Maybe you guys should rethink your towing strategy a little bit because honestly it's quite rude. We were a customer. We weren't gone long. We wouldn't have gone if there a was a line. And then to come back not 10 minutes later and experience that? -1000/5 stars experience for us. read more

This is my nearest Target, but unfortunately I will never return here again. The attention to detail around this store has gone down hill for quite a while now (with some sections looking as if a bomb went off in them). It is also a fact that Target stopped trying to compete with Meijer on price in most departments about 5-6 years ago. I continued to go in anyway, but less and less. Following my most recent experience, I will never return to this location. I purposefully came in on a weekday afternoon to avoid lines and hassle. However, once it was time to check out, I got both anyway. It is apparently now Target policy to line guests up to use SELF checkout. There is only one open regular checkout lane, and one cannot access it at this location without standing in one line. Again, this was a weekday afternoon but the line was 10+ deep and extended down the aisle toward the drug store section. Perhaps Target will ultimately be successful in training the the public to stand in long lines for self-checkout. Instead of ever risking doing so at this location again, I will drive further to Meijer where I can at least save some money as I have an unpleasant shopping experience. read more

Came here for some home necessities. The parking lot gets packed, but once inside, not too bad. Lines aren't too bad on a Saturday afternoon. I still would rather come to a target than a Walmart. This location is pretty well staffed and have safety guidelines throughout the store. It wasn't too crowded which I appreciated. I was able to easily find what I was looking for without any assistance. It was pretty clean and somewhat well stocked. There were employees throughout the entire store ready to help customers if needed. Security was on standby in case there were any issues. Seemed like pretty much everyone was on alert to be quick to respond to the customers' needs. With this many employees they need to have some of them man the entrance outside checking for masks and limiting entry via headcount. This will endure social distancing. Target as a whole needs to work on this. It's not just this location. It seems not all businesses are as on top of their safety precautions. This is actually one of the better ones. read more

Ok, so after moving during the pandemic, this is how my closest target. I stopped in today for a few items but definely needed a card. I cannot explain how odd and off this experience was. I hope I get a survey email so I can explain. But- here goes. . No carts available for customers at the door. No handicapped "carts" available for customers. The employee working customer service says "that person didn't come in to work today". Um, your manager doesn't allocate someone else to do this? Not all teammates do this? So odd. I the did a return with a receipt and they wouldn't put it back to my card EVEN when I showed the man the receipt and matching card. The guy goes "I don't know what to tell you, the system is saying no". Um... can you get someone that can help give me my money back. Why is it that every time I use Apple Pay, you struggle as a company to give me my money back? Don't endorse Apple Pay then. No lanes are open, only self check out. Again, cause no one wanted to work. There are carts of product all over the store. Like carts to restock and also racks of clothes from the fitting rooms. I swear, it's beyond unorganized. This is poor management, but just a lack of scheduling. Is the energy on the remodels? Are you not staffing enough people to get the store back to center when closed?? I used to love target in general... but it hasn't been amazing in years. Get it together. I had a pickup at this target and at least 4 cars came after me and all got attended to first. I had the unfortunate experience of getting Paula who states she is a manager as well. I waited over 10 minutes for my order. If i didnt say anything i would still be waiting for my order. Paula said theyre short staff and i was rude. She came to my car without my complete order and with another employee like i would be intimidated. I wasnt and went right inside and spoke with Belle and paula came right up to us speaking like i would be once again intimidated. There are plenty of cameras outside and inside as well that can collaborate with this chain of events. I have been shopping at target well over 15 years and never have i experienced this. I've been coming to this Target for years and years. The customer service, the quality of goods have all gone down. I shop here in-person, online, drive-up, pick-up and every which way and I feel I'm done with Target. Yesterday's experience was the last. I did a drive-up order yesterday and I ordered fruit. I came home and see on of my bags is leaking ... it was the bag with the fruit in it. I open it up and sure enough the fruit is rotten and moldy. I can't believe that the associate did not see this; they just don't care anymore. The drive ups are on a clock and that's what they go by, so the quality is never there. I ordered candy as well and it was dated 2020, expired and put in my order. I'm done! read more

I really like this location. It is always clean and well-organized, and they have an awesome clearance clothing section for women! Always super cheap, cute stuff next to the fitting room. I like how this location is only one floor, and it everything is fairly spread out, which makes the store look so big. I've never had much of a problem with things I want being out of stock here, other than my Tom's charcoal activated toothpaste. For some reason, I feel like some Target stores only order like 3 because they are always gone. I cannot really talk about the workers in the store because I normally go to the self checkout and no one ever really asks if you need help with anything unless I am trying to go in the fitting room. This location does have a Starbucks, and the workers are normally so sweet! The quality of the coffee is very good, and unlike some locations, this one seems pretty clean. read more

I really love this place! This is the largest Target store I have ever been to in the US. They have so many great selection, all of their items has a good quality, and also all of them are worth the cost. The prices of their items are fair and reasonable. Their store is always clean, nice, organized, well-stocked, and they also have decorations around the place. Their staff are so awesome, all of them will greet you with a big smile once you entered their store. They are also helpful, you can ask them anytime when you have concerns or if you have something need to know. Their customer service is so amazing. I will probably give this Target 3.5 stars. It's located next to the All-State Arena in Rosemont. I believe the Des Plaines, Norridge, and Harwood Heights neighbors utilize this Target as well for purchasing their daily essentials. Personally, I think Target is a great place to take your kids to keep them busy. They have a great children's clothing department; their toys are abundant; their groceries are just over-priced, though. However, you can find some cute junior and women's clothes and accessories if you've got time to look through every aisle. The organizations are decent, considering how much traffic they have on an everyday basis. The workers are friendly enough, but after all, dealing with customers can really wear people out because I'm in this profession, and I know it! Nevertheless, if you ask a question politely, more likely they will try to assist you. If you drink k-cups like myself, they have a great selection of Keurig k-cups. Of course, they're not cheap if you pick out the "SB" brand, which is about $14 for 16 counts, yet they do have the Target brand for $9 with some yummy flavors. Overall, you can save money at Target if you coupon religiously, utilize the store coupons, and know how to make "money" through using all coupon resources (there are weekly gift card deals for different items on sale). I really don't think you will walk out the door paying "nothing," but you know the name of the game, it's a good place to score some deals. read more

This Target, being next to old Rosemont Horizon, or whatever the hell that place is called now, is more stressful than I like my Targets to be. You end up fighting through cray arena traffic to get in here, then you end up fighting through idling livery and sedans for people who were dropped off that the arena, or waiting for calls to head to O'Hare. Because of this, you'll end up having to park a considerable amount further back than you probably should have. Once inside, you'll notice that this is one of those Targets that set up like a K-Mart. Which, as any lady will you tell you, is the lowest form of Target layouts. I originally came here because I was in the area and saw that the business listing didn't have a photo on Yelp, which drives me abso.f*cking.lutely nuts, so I decided to make this Target the one I'd look to for travel-size items and fashionable winter gear for an upcoming trip I'd be taking. The hunt for travel-size everything went well, some of the regular items I use daily weren't where they usually are at the other Targets I frequent, and their fall coat selection must've been at the peak as far as stocking is concerned, while they were almost entirely out of gloves. Inopportune, for sure. Also inopportune were the number of items that weren't labeled with correct prices, sending me in search of a scanner machine, the first two of which were out of order. The check-out lanes here are those awful ones where the registers are staggered so you can't really tell which lines are the longest or if it's okay to go to a frontwards line when a rear line is already really long. Hate that. Plus this one has that Walmart-y fake cheese smell. This Target is just fine, and that's about it. read more

Super clean, well-stocked Target! Can I get an "Amen"!? After visiting some recent Target losers, I was all set for this one near my work in Rosemont to be the same. Denied! (And so glad I was.) Great selection here, and shelves are clean and well-stocked! They have a Fresh Foods market, and everything's easy to find on first glance. They do not have an in-store Starbucks, but there's a full service SBUX across the street. I only wish that instead of the generic hot dog/nachos restaurant inside, that they had a Taco Bell. Of course if they did, they'd probably have to roll me back down Mannheim/Higgins, as I'd be here way too often if that were the case. This Target Rocks! read more

I am sad to say that this Target has gone way downhill. I have shopped here for years with no issues whatsoever. Always a friendly staff, clean store. I don't know if it is under new management or what is going on, but it is far from what it used to be. I've read previous comments and I have to agree, it looks like a tornado rolled through the store. Clothes askew, as if a mass crowd invaded the store throwing items around. Inventory boxes blocking several aisles, some open appearing as if they had started being unloaded but left there to sit. And my gosh the customer service department, what a joke. Several carts with returned items seemingly forgotten, parked there in every which way, making your first impression of the store cringe worthy. My biggest concern? Your online pick up orders. The sheer inefficiency of what should be an easy process was proven a disaster. Place an order online, once you receive a message that your order is: *keyword* = ready, you go to the store to pick it up. Not in this Target's case. A long line started forming with people picking up their "ready for pickup" items, only to be left standing there for 20/30+ minutes while customer service hands a post it note to an associate, who then seemingly goes off through the store shopping or to who knows where for your items, then finally returns back with a cart full of bags and starts calling out people's names. Add to this a phone call they received from someone who had been waiting over 30 minutes for their order in the curbside pickup area. And this folks, is within the department that has a sign that is clearly marked "Order Pickup". Please let me state that this review is not directed towards store employees, rather the functionality and cleanliness of the store itself. I need to say, the customer service rep seemed overwhelmed, but handled herself well. Also, this experience was not only during the holiday season, so no excuses there Target. Does this mean that I will never shop there again? No, I will visit the store but only if I am desperate and need to run in for something quick. The days of strolling through and enjoying this once lovely store, for now at least, are over. read more

Shady. The Rosemont store's Target website said that Clorox wipes were in stock (at this location) but when I got there 5 mins after viewing that the Clorox was "in stock", the shelves were empty. So i stood in the empty aisle and looked up Clorox wipes again, the site website says "in stock". WHY WERE THE SHELVES EMPTY? Either they were "in stock" in the stock room in the back, away from paying customers, or something else is up. Target Management: start stocking those shelves with the supplies that the general public needs so that we won't need to run to the emergency rooms later. In March 2020, we need the Clorox wipes (1 per guest WHICH IS FAIR), but we are in dire need. I love this Target and their associates, everything there was great, everyone also is so awesome. Their store is always clean and well-organized, their place is so big. The staff are so nice and helpful, I was greeted at the door, and some of them asked me if I need help or assist. They have great customer service. They have lots of variety, many selection of food items, and even branded items. I found everything I need, I purchased a lot of their produce, and I bought all of it in such a fair prices, all of their items has a reasonable prices. You can buy anything there without breaking your pockets. This Target is the perfect store and best for those looking for such a fun place to shop, and worth visiting again and again. 5-star for this Target because of their great service, best quality items and produce, and for treating their customers so well.
