It's Walmart! Lol! Every Walmart is pretty much the same, but I appreciated that this location was clean, tidy, organized, and spacious. Some Walmarts are so cramped that it's hard to get a shopping cart down the aisle when someone else is shopping nearby. A nice bonus is that this location has both Checkers and Auntie Anne's inside, which is convenient if you want to grab a quick bite while shopping. The checkout lines were short, and the self-checkout process was quick and efficient. Overall, it was an easy, pleasant shopping experience. read more

Well this location really lives up to Walmarts reputation. Went to try something on for the first time in maybe 20 years. There was no one there and all the doors were open so I just walked in to the closest one. A few min into trying on there's a pounding in the door and a woman demanding I come out for her to count my items and referencing some sign. When I come out she points to a sign (lottery facing the opposite direction-I never actually saw the front of the sign or what it said) Well I came in through the opposite entry way and didn't see it. This doesn't feel like it is a unique experience. Of you want w time to see it maybe have it print front and pack and at both entry points? So after getting lectured-she continues to be rude and talk about this sign. I deposit a few I times because apperently I had too many. When I re-entered the fitting room I noticed a reddish brown mark on the wall. Clearly old dried blood smeared on the wall. Charming. (I'll share a photo) I made her aware of it and she literally said "well it wasn't there when I left" ...accusing me of smearing a bio hazard in the wall. Now if we use our brains & look at the smear we see that that it was long dried. If I had done something that deplorable, in the time frame I was m the space, it wouldn't be dry. Clearly they are not cleaning their fitting rooms at regular intervals. Also if I was the disgusting individual who did that why would I report it? Her name was Dorthy. I did speak to customer service about her. I truly hope she is removed from a customer facing role because none of the way she behaved towards me was appropriate but accusing someone who let you know that there is a bio hazard on a wall is really unacceptable inappropriate and unprofessional. And this should not have to be said but since this is the second time in a week I have experienced something of this nature personally, why are smearing our bodily fluids on walls? Not the greatest Walmart that's for sure. It was pretty dirty & unorganized on the grocery side. The frozen section had multiple places with freezer burn & you couldn't even see the items being sold. That was pretty crazy. We still got what we needed & were in & out. read more

I don't usually review Walmarts or a lot of chain spots, but this Walmart was pretty interesting! Like all Walmarts, this one has a large shopping area for food, household items, clothing and jewelry. This Walmart seemed cleaner though and had a generally happier atmosphere. Theirs a bunch of food and mini mall options in this Walmart. I've never seen one with a coffee shop! I could come back here just for the "mall walk"! read more

Naomi, the little Hispanic woman in the self checkout is horrible, bitter, mean spirited person and the old middle eastern man who is also working self checkout is just as bad. Shout-out to Grace, she's the only kind greeter. Saying hello and goodbye to all customers. Shanti and Sandy (Sandra) whatever it is, are so rude and I'm quite sick of the attitude. They signed up to be a Walmart greeter which would imply the main job task is to greet people. I watch them pick and choose who they want to be greet and say bye to and who they essentially just want to ignore. Customer service is at an all-time low these days and the stuff just makes me want to walk straight out of the store. It's really sad that this type of behavior is allowed and I'm sure nothing will be done about it. Also the customer service department here is a joke. I came to return one small item and when I approached the employee she was discussing with another employee about how no one wants to work these days which is ironic because the woman acted like returning my item which I had a receipt for and was bought a few days prior with such a difficult task. Honestly this store needs to do better because there's also a lot of attitude and definement within the store as well. The people walking around do not want to help or do not seem like they want to help which makes shopping 10 times more difficult. Had to drive out to this particular Walmart due to them being the closest one that had a PlayStation in stock. Be prepared to do some walking because they have closed down certain entrances due to Covid and social distancing. They had a main entrance everyone came in and out of. It was split in half. All employees were wearing masks and the gentlemen in the electronics department was very helpful in helping me select my PlayStation. Masks are a requirement so don't forget yours! read more

I stopped into the store early Saturday afternoon and the parking lot was packed. It was the weekend before Christmas, so I expected it to be pretty crowded. I finally got into the building and there were no carts available. I proceeded to walk to the opposite side of the store to check there. On my way, I saw a vacant cart with an old used can in it. I asked the people surrounding the cart if it belonged to them and was told no. I waited for a second & decided that I was going to use it and remove the can and place it on the check-out counter (away from the register), in case anyone was going to retrieve it. The female employee at Guest Services abruptly screams "Don't put that on my counter!" I was a little caught off guard because it was nowhere near anything relevant. She screamed it again at me. So naturally, I got defensive & was in a yelling match with an employee of the store. Super unprofessional & trashy, if you ask me. read more

There's only one thing I love about Wal-mart and that's the low prices. My husband and I come here only when we really need to as it's close by. We tend to come in the morning as later around 12 pm, there's more folks which means longer check out lines. One thing to note, It doesn't seem like carts are properly sanitized so bring your own sanitizer to wipe it down. In addition, the Customer service is pretty much non-existent for the most part. Many of the store associates that I have flagged down, seem not to know where things are. The recent 2 times I have come here, I've noticed the cashier bagging up food items in the same bag as detergent/bleach. Usually you would keep those items separate. I'd avoid doing online pick orders or grocery orders as I've heard from friends who had to wait ridiculous wait times. read more

Occoe, FL Super center never has their foods stocked enough to find everything needed. I always have to go to Publix stores to finish my shopping. I never see Publix store's with bare shelves. Okay, it's WalMart. It's not some fancy expensive department store, it's a store to buy things that one needs for everyday life, period. The shelves are usually well stocked, especially with this store being in the 'tourist district,' where many people stay and also locals, live. Even during this Covid 19 pandemic, the store has continued to have the staples we need for everyday life. This pandemic was a new thing for ALL of us [unless you're over 100 years of age], and there's been a learning curve for every business. There was no 'rule book' to work from, so the only thing any business had to go on were the 'best practices' being provided daily by the CDC. No one knew what protocol would be involved, so when I read comments slamming on this store for not providing hand sanitizer at the beginning, it makes me a bit sad. This store has ALWAYS [even prior to this pandemic] provided a little pop-up sanitizing cloth one can clean a cart with upon entering the store. It's been that way for at least the past 8-10 years, and that was an option for the customer when this whole pandemic started. Since the 're-opening' of Orange County, the store has a process in place for entry carts/people and exit carts/people. I have watched those working at this location clean each and every returned [exit] cart. So, nay-sayers please choose something else to talk about. This store is doing the best they can. Also, if it's a store that one does not like, try one of the other options available. This store is close, convenient and I find the staff to be friendly. However, we are only going to get back what we give, so I choose to greet people that are working hard to serve the public, and in turn, I get graciousness and good service from those working. read more

The WORST Walmart. Let me just say I have lived in ocoee my whole life and recently this has become one of the worst Walmart's. Customer service is horrible from the cashiers to the managers. The customer service manager is the most unmannered of them all, she doesn't allow you to explain your complaints just cuts you off and the customer service department is a disaster they have like 5 people working at a time and no one is capable of finding a solution nor willing to help. No one comes when you ring for help in the makeup department where the things are locked, they do not honor the prices on sale and just tell you it doesn't matter, and have the store a disaster a literal disaster. I told him I need my tire fix he said it's a long wait I said ok, then he had the nerve to tell me you can come back, after I told him I will wait. Then I mentioned Kirkman rd Walmart and the issue I just had there, refusing to service my tire but the can do oil change if I needed. He had the nerve to tell me he don't work there so he can't speak for them. Rather say will I will take care of you, sorry you had such experience there. As an assistant manager he's very rude, he has no customer service skills, he's not a people person. He need to be fired. That's my opinion. I'm not sure why this Walmart only has two stars. Whenever I do visit this Wally , I'm always impressed. Everything is beyond organized. I mean whoever stocks these shelves must have OCD or really takes pride in their job. Everything is perfect. The staff is helpful. They stay out of your way, less you need help. They have a Checkers, a nail salon a eye glasses store , and they recently added an electronic screen and phone repair store. The check out line runs faster than in NYC lol. The funny thing about this is that no matter which state you are in, Wally would have 25 registers and only keep 3 open. Strange. I guess they enjoy seeing long lines. The parking lot is big. I really hate this Walmart, but I do shop here sometimes because it is closer than the Walmart on Independence Parkway. I have had so many problems here that I finally decided to write a letter to corporate last year. The store manager called me and apologized, and for a while, it seemed like things were getting better, but that didn't last long. Recently, within a two week period, I had two negative experiences with this Walmart. I am not sure if it is because the staff is poorly trained or if they just don't care, but if the Independence Walmart staff can make an effort, then so can the staff at Ocoee Walmart. read more

I tried to pay with a gift card that is connected to my app were you can clearly see I have funds available. Ok to be honest, I actually really enjoyed this Walmart. The entrance was what really got me to walk in because of the valley of palm trees, which I honestly rarely see in the state of Florida. I had a hard time looking for the Bior face wash which is what I usually use, but I came out fine. I got what I needed and that's all that matters. It's not what i expected but, it's something in replacement. And that's just how it has to be sometimes. I originally came to get breakfast, but the upfront pastry and fried chicken wasn't really feeling my appetite, so i wasn't really hungry anymore. Decided to put my thoughts out here in this platform for others to consider and take heed. I have lived in this area for over 20 years and have frequented this Walmart since it's opening. Up until recently, it's been a normal, grocery store + the benefit of a retail store. Yes, it has its share of rude employees and eclectic customers, but it had what was needed at a good price. With the pandemic, I started doing online pickup orders and have had some access my account and charge up $300 worth of stuff for pick in the Carolinas, the same in California. The third was for a big screen tv that was still pending checkout when I caught it and deleted all my info and resigned to not doing online orders anymore. No one asked for identification. No one at Walmart cared. It was chump change to them. Let the local police know, not much concern there either. Just a few months ago, the same thing happened to my parents. Sam exact thing! Whether it's in the store or online, if you pay cheap prices, you're going to get cheap labor and low quality staff. It's as simply as that. Crazy that we live in a world where people put more effort into stealing and conning people out of money than to put in a day of hard, honest work. read more

While I can't speak to what this place is on a "regular" day, I was completely happy with my experience on Thanksgiving as it was my first visit to this location. I went with intention- to get a TV featured in their "1 Hour Guarantee" promotion, where you were guaranteed to either get the TV or get a voucher to have it shipped to you before Christmas at the deal price. The store was busy, but organized. They had the biggest deals mapped out at different locations throughout the store. The line for the TV I was interested in was well-organized and easy to find. Their were plenty of employees available for question. The line moved fast to receive a voucher to pay for the TV once the deal started and the lines to check out were quick. Only complaint was with the actual pick up of the TV. You were required to drive to the back of the store to pick up the TV at the loading docks. The only issue with this is that people kept walking up, which ultimately made the line longer for those in vehicles. A Wal Mart employee even said they were originally not supposed to allow walk ups, so that seemed like a bit of a service break. Ultimately, shopping on Thanksgiving I was prepared for the worst so things went much more smoothly than expected! I was impressed by the staff and set up of this store. Based on that experience, I would revisit in the future. The store seems well cared for. read more

I like to go to use the self check out since typically they only have 2 registers open on one side of the store. The lines can get long to check out. I had the worst experience of any other store that I've been to I purchased a computer speaker for 40 bucks and then when I went back to exchange it for a computer speaker that worked better they said#1 Because it had been over 14 days without a receipt that I could not exchange it because I was honest.but when I I went to the electronics and asked he said they had no speakers that would even worked with a computer so I went Dollar General and got a speake for half the price of the speaker that I got that I was trying to exchange.... the guy in electronics knew nothing about what he was "supposed" to sell.... read more
