This review is only for the bakery department. Being at a complete loss due to a party getting postponed and then rescheduled, I decided to entrust Walmart whose cake decorator greeted me with a smile. She was able to get my cake done in less than 24 hours just the way I envisioned it. $18 for a beautiful decorated and moist cake. Honestly, it looked like one you'd get at Publix Bakery. So very thankful to the staff for being able to get it done and in time for the party! I appreciate it. Do not sit on Walmart bakery! I visited Walmart while in Florida. They had a wonderful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and the of was right.

This location is often out of stock, because it is quite crowded, I guess. I like to use the app to find items in the store, and in this location, the app is only accurate about 20% of the time, which makes it useless . I do love the fact that they have self checkout lanes. There is also a separate liquor store. read more

We shopped at Walmart Oldsmar around 7:00pm yesterday evening. For such a big store, I don't understand why they have only 1 cashier working, and we ended up waiting a long time because she was so slow. There was only one manager on duty, and she started another line and called us over, but then closed down the line and walked off. At that point, I just about decided to walk out and leave my cart full of groceries, I was so disgusted. You need to close some of the self service lanes and put more of your employees to work as cashiers. read more

I usually avoid Walmart because it's crowded, dumpy and part of an evil corporation. Once in a while I make my way over to the Oldsmar store because it's not as bad as other Walmart's. The best attribute being their liquor store next door. Good prices on handles and lotto tickets you can purchase with debit cards. Inside the store is hit or miss. Some days are cleaner than others. What draws me into this store is the huge selection of gluten free groceries at lower prices than everywhere else. In one section they have sandwich bread, sub rolls, bagels, English muffins, and ciabatta. Cookies, crackers, pretzels, and cereal bars. Baking flours, pastas and dessert mixes. There are also plenty of gluten free choices mixed in with everything else, scattered throughout the store. There's so much to choose from! Now if they could enhance their organic choices, especially produce, I may stop by more often. Besides hitting up the gluten free fare I may poke around the pharmacy area but I tend to avoid the rest of the store. read more

I recently became disabled so when we pulled into the lot, I immediately started looking for an electric cart. there were many in the lot and all the cart returns looked like carts hadn't been picked up for a long time. I got a cart, and we proceeded to shop. The battery started going so I headed to the entrance hopefully to get a new charged cart. there was a cart, but the battery was dead. there was another one just outside the door, so I hobbled to it, and it was also dead. Not a single cart was plugged in charging. I made it back in and tried to speak to three different employees, but none spoke English. that was enough for me, and we left the store. The management in this store should be replaced as they are surly incompetent to allow a situation like this to exist. They made me a Target customer. read more

This Walmart is HUGE!!! I typically try to avoid Walmart at all costs, however had to come here due to their being a Quest Diagnostics lab located inside. Upon walking in I was amazed at it not being as dumpy as other Walmart stores. Decided to walk around while we waited to find the dogs some treats and explore the store. The store is actually pretty clean to be a Walmart and things are pretty well displayed; another plus was it was 7:30AM and the store was not crowded at all. This place even has a Dunkin Donuts and a hair salon! I do recommend coming here for your Walmart needs should you want to visit a more cleaner store. Usually if I have to go to Walmart, it's EARLY in the morning as I don't like to be around the crowds as the people that shop here tend to ignore the social distancing recommendations. read more

If I could give a negative score I would. Since we are senior citizens my husband thought it would be great for us to join, Walmart+. We have been members since 2023. We have had rotten vegetables and fruit delivered. Things that arrive in 2+ days arrive with jars broken or containing the wrong items. Most of the time we let it go. Last week we received a letter saying we have been suspended due to policy infractions. My husband went in store for a copy of the policies governing Walmart+. The lady in customer service said she didn't have a policy list for Walmart +.The answer to finding Walmart+ policies led me to look online. What I found was there is no such list of policies. My husband called Walmart+ customer service. He spoke with a nice lady named Mary. She had never heard of written policies. She also could not tell my husband for how long his suspension would be. He then asked, should he cancel the account how much would be his rebate. She didn't have an answer to that either. Finally she gave my husband an email address for their risk management department. She told him to contact them. I would strongly discourage anyone from joining Walmart +. They will happily take your money for exceptionally poor service. the next phone call will be to The Better Business Bureau. read more

Not a bad Walmart. I'm actually shocked that this Walmart has 2 1/2 stars. As far as Walmarts go, this one wasn't that bad. I tend to avoid Walmarts, and I feel super Elitist saying that, but honestly there really isn't anything that I can find here that I can't at Target or Publix. They really do have more people on the motorized scooters then I see anywhere else. I counted two in the ten minutes we were here. The main reason I came here was I was looking for a pool noodle and I figured a cheaper type store would have it. Jokes on me because Walmart did not since it was in January, yet when I called Target to check they did have it. We live in Florida and heated pools are a thing! So, I didn't get my pool noodle, but I did walk around a bit trying to find it. I found the entire store to be clean and well put together. I did end up getting some organic bananas, which my dad then told me I totally could have gone non organic because of the clean fifteen. Hey, they were for my baby so when in doubt I go organic. We went at about 3 p.m. on a Tuesday so it wasn't that busy and the self check out had no line. They have a huge parking lot so parking will never be an issue. Overall I think this Walmart is fine. I'm not running to come back, but I won't avoid it either. read more

I had a 5:00 pm appointment in the auto service center to mount and balance two front tires today. I brought the two tires with me. I advised this when I made the appointment. I spoke with the man at the front desk when I was dropping off the car. He advised it would be $32 per tire. I left the store and drove the 20 minutes back home. Here is a screenshot (attached) of the prices. It clearly states Tire Mount (carry in) $10. What is going on? Even with balancing $32 a tire is robbery, especially since the prices are posted on Walmart's public website. read more

The automotive department doesn't even deserve one star. I set up an appointment last week to have four tires installed this morning. The man who took my information confirmed they had 4 of the tires I wanted in stock at $84 each. My appointment this morning took more than twice as long as I was told. When I went to pay (2.5 hours later), I was told that only two tires were available so that's all they installed! No one told me they only had two tires when I arrived. They also charged $97 per tire instead of the agreed upon amount. The guys in the customer service shop are way overworked. All they could say was "I'm sorry." No trying to rectify the issue whatsoever. Never again!! read more

TLDR: over complicated pick up options. Inside is standard giant Walmart. So I ordered something online that only had a store pick up option. I needed a couple of things like coffee filters, deodorant and bleach, so I headed inside. Found my items and checked out then went to customer service to pick up my preordered item. I was then directed to the "tower". Which appeared to be out of service, so I asked another employee who told me to fallow Black Friday signs to the pick up parking spots in the parking lot then call the number. So I did that. When I called the number I was then told to head to the grocery pick up area because the toy I ordered was not a Black Friday item. Soooo I then drove to the other side of the parking lot to pick up this toy I ordered online I will just pay the $10 difference next time & order from another store. Wasted 30mins of my time. read more

The automotive and tire center here deserves negative stars. They are the most unhelpful and lazy staff I have ever seen. Don't believe me? Try calling them. They won't pick up the phone. If they do, they immediately put you on hold and you'll stay on hold until you give up and hang up. Why is this important? Because they now require appointments for everything. How are you going to make an appointment if they won't answer the damn phone? I used to come here first thing in the morning for service and the staff was always 15-20 minutes late past opening time. To add insult to injury, the guy that works there goes to get his breakfast after he punches in and turns the lights on. Lastly, there's a whole lot of goofing around and horseplay between the females and guys including one who appears to be a manager. She's obviously a lousy manager because she's always sitting in back doing nothing while her staff is giving the worst possible experience imaginable to human kind. Everyone there should be fired. I called several auto parts stores and they didn't want to help me with my taillight bulb but William went out of his way to help me, he walked all the way to the back and got me the light bulb and called me back to make sure I knew he had it in stock! My trip here was to scout the garden dept. for a large planter pot to repot one of my plants. I came in and found what I needed almost instantly and was quickly checked out too in garden dept. which took me a total of 8min from when I entered the door. Staff here in the garden dept were friendly and efficient in helping locate the right pot on my descriptions and check was speedy. I will shop here as needed. read more

I love this Wal-Mart! There's always parking, the associates are very friendly and helpful and they have Wal-Mart pick-up!! The pick-up feature is my go-to! It helps me stay in control of how much I'm spending and I get to do groceries from the comfort of my own home or on the go from my phone. Once I have the date and time set, I show up and the associate loads my car with my groceries. What a time to be alive! read more

My daughter and I were in this store the other day. She was looking at the George tee shirts. The sign said "Was $7.48 Now $5.48. Only a couple of the shirts would ring up at $5.48. "Coach Courtney" said she would only honor one shirt at the cheaper because the others hadn't been put in the computer yet. Let me ask you something: What do you really expect of Walmart? Can you get almost everything you need here? Yep. Is it pretty affordable? Yep. Then, in my opinion, the rest is neither here nor there. If you want a break down I'll give it to you, though. Here we go. At this location their parking is ridiculous(the drivers even more so), their organization skills depend on which associates are working that department(for example, their electronics vs. their clearance section), and you'd better know the store's layout because helpful employees are few and far between. I've actually had to call my family to help me locate items before, because no one would assist me. Their cashiers are nice, but there's never enough of them at the registers to handle the crowds of customers trying to check out. It's enough to make me want to pull my hair out sometimes, but it is what it is. As a fellow Walmart shopper, you probably already knew all of that. I guess if I wanted to play devil's advocate I'd say they're consistent, if nothing else. This Walmart is horrible, and convenient, just like a cow print snuggie like the one I saw on a customer in the return lane. read more

The tire and lube center is by far the most lazy, disrespectful place of business I have ever visited. It is actually comical. At any moment I thought candid camera was going to jump out. A very elderly woman was having a hard time standing in line. Derrick I believe his name was. Was more interested in chatting about a power rangers action figurine and talking about a vintage toy store in largo than helping the lady get her keys so she could go about her day. I have tried avoiding this store many times. Unfortunately I live a few hundred few from it and had a flat tire. If you enjoy not being acknowledged after standing in line for 15-20 minutes or being talked down to. Look no further. Sam Walton would be turning in his grave if he was able to see how this department was ran. read more

This Walmart is A-OK. It's not as good as the Gunn Highway Walmart, but much better than the one at Waters and Hanley. Depending on where I'm driving from and what the urgency is to stop at Walmart, this one will do. It seems well organized and clean, and the crowd seems friendlier. They also have really good deals on range ammo. Walmart exists to serve a real need. It's variety, convenience, and low prices are unmatched. Not all Walmarts are created (or maintained) equal. Some seem nicer than others to me. This one is alright. read more

I have to say this was one of the nicer wally world that I have been too! Honestly there's always going to be a hectic vibe at a Walmart you just have to know which time of day to go. I normally try to get in and out of Walmart during the off hours when not too many people are around and shelves are stocked neatly! All super Walmarts have the issue with seeming like there's not enough staff on hand to at least be off the counters but this one keeps up really well. I've always been able to find a staff imember if I needed help and they've always been courteous even if they didn't know exactly what they were talking. I recommend this location because it is one of the neater and cleaner Walmarts in this area. The only time that I did have a bad experience was in the electronics department when trying to look for a staff member. That night the supervisor on staff was very rude and became indignant when I had to use a Walmart phone to page her to come to the front after waiting an hour for her to resurface. After I placed the complaint the head manager got into in contact with me the next day and assured me that it would never happen again. That was a bad experience but I will say that I was pleased that at least the manager cared enough to get my side of the story the next day. This Wally World has my stamp of approval! read more

Employees from the auto care department are slow and inefficient. I sat watching my car waiting for my oil change to be done and they just had my car sitting there for at least 45 minutes. I said what's the progress on my car they said they haven't even started yet. They had all the Christmas decorations on sale. had to pick up some lights for next year. 99% of the time I go to self check out. even though I do there is always an employee working there. and are always friendly and helpful. They were apparently having some sort of clearance, and I was able to pick up a couple of bras for my niece for $3 a piece, so.. GOOD deal there! Oldsmar FL Walmart: (1) Manager Josh Cowell told me that it is too hard to wear a face mask properly. Many Walmart employees and cashiers practice 1/2 masking which means they put the customers at risk yet the manager allows this practice. (2) The manager also instructs employees to allow customers of all ages, not just seniors, to shop during their advertised senior hour at 6 am each Tuesday. This is false advertising of senior hour. (3) I am 70 years old and do not feel safe shopping at the Oldsmar Malmart. I was an avid shopper before, spending $10,000 annually at Walmart but now I shop at Costco (they strictly enforce Covid policies) and also online at Amazon. C. Bentley read more

This is one of the better Walmart's in the area due to the fact that it's a Super Walmart and the store is massive. I prefer to go this location just because English is actually the first language spoken by employees and I don't feel like I am in another country when stepping inside. The selection of product here is as good as it gets for Walmart and there is always staff around to help you find something. They usually have a decent amount of checkout lanes available, which is good for everyone so that way people aren't waiting to check out for ten minutes. They recently added a nice alcohol section the side of the building that is very new and clean. read more

This store is the closest one that you can order tires online and have them shipped to. So, our tires were in and we stopped by on a Tuesday morning to get them installed and balanced. It took about 20 minutes to get the guy through the process of locating the tires and the car 'in line' for it's service. (No appointments taken as you are first come first serve.) we went to a movie and stopped by afterwards. The car was ready and good to go. The tires look nice and they did a nice job installing them. The balance was a good one and it took the small vibration out which we were experiencing at 45 mph. They also installed windshield wipers for us. Nice experience. Clean store. The person we dealt with could not multi task for the life of him so to whomever was calling the service department when we were talking with him, sorry! read more

I'll keep this simple: Couldn't find what I was looking for. Couldn't find an employee to ASK where said item may be. Once I DID find an employee, he was less than thrilled to acknowledge me. Found another employee who, God bless her soul, was as lost as I. I eventually found said item. I proceed to check-out. Cashier was snotty and rude, and I held my breath til he finished ringing me up. I hated spending over $100 here, but I needed all I purchased and had no time to go to Tampa to an alternate location. Look, I don't want to hear about how "it's Wal-Mart, what do you expect?" from people...The simple fact is they are a retailer. They sell stuff. To real people.
