This target is decently big, has a good selection of products to choose from, and is like all the other targets out there. Has the same atmosphere, usual service, and same value what you normally get at any target. There isn't anything to complain about and it's always quiet at this target so it's never a pain to get a space in the parking lot neither travel through the store. This store also did help benefit me most with getting some furniture as well as other useful products and good deals from target. The only complaint I have is the service could be better. But otherwise this is a decent target and doesn't have many problems. I would still go back, to shop in the future for toiletries, snacks, and other products I need. read more

False advertising... False Advertising Target had signs everywhere on three different tables saying buy one get one half price for a certain brand of clothing .When you go to check out, of course nothing rings up on sale. When I took the manager over to look one of the display tables they informed me that I didn't read the small print . The worse thing about this is that the cashier tells my daughter that this happens at least twice a day to her. She said the " way they put the signs is very confusing to lots of shoppers" Everything on the tables were of the Cat & Jacks brand ... there is only one sign that states "buy one get one 50% off" No other signage. Yet the only thing that they said was actually on sale was the very top shelf that had two small stacks of shirts. I was so disappointed , I didn't take pictures of the boys section. But the same thing . Big signs everywhere stating buy one get one 50 percent off ... all the same brand , yet even the manager had to use her pricing gun and scan each item to see it was included on the sale. So it really had nothing to do with the small print ... How many people put it in their cart and never notice the deception !!!! read more

The parking lot and outside building looked pretty ragged, but once inside it was very clean and organized. I used self check out, but the employee I dealt with was very helpful. Target recently remodeled this location, and they did an outstanding job. Certain areas of the store are laid out differently, and it makes more sense than before. it is far easier to browse and find things, in my opinion. All of the displays are updated and modern too. There are some features, and there seems to be more staff working too. Some of the changes: The food section has been expanded greatly, and although it's not a full blown Super Target grocery store, the selection is substantially larger than it was before, especially refrigerated and frozen items. There is no longer a fine jewelry counter. The electronics department is expanded. The Personal Care area are more like a nice department store, instead of just utilitarian aisles found at Wallyworld. The checkout stations are much improved and there are now self checkout lanes. On my most recent visit I was asked if I needed help by a couple different, friendly staff members as I browsed the merchandise. The store was very clean and displays were in good order. All of the many staff members I saw appeared to be happy and upbeat. For an area of our size, this is a great Target! read more

I have visited a lot of bigger Targets in bigger cities and this one is more organized and clean than most! Also, the Target app is the best and easiest app to purchase. It's amazing! I'm here today. This is an organized, well stocked, clean Target. I'm impressed. Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing for some Target's I've been to including... the Target close to my house (La Verne, California). That particular Target is pathetic. Everything is in disarray, dirty, poorly stocked, and lacks proper management or it wouldn't be in that condition. Excellent job to the management here at the Target in Prescott, AZ. Good job. Today at Target my kiddos were begging for a drink. They didn't have any of the amazing no spill character juices so we opted for body armour. Of course they all wanted their own. I paid and opened them and realized I forgot a gift bag so I put my youngest in the basket and walked back over there. For reference she's 2.5 and doesn't usually struggle with bottles when seated. We pulled into the gift bag aisle and I parked my cart as I debated which bag/tissue paper I wanted and she she was setting the bottle down, tipped it. It spilled about 3/4 onto the floor. Whoops! Embarrassed, I left my cart there and walked to the front to ask for spill cleanup. The manager called for it and then stopped me to say "by the way, I knew that was coming. I saw that coming from a mile away".. Immediately my face flushed and I tried not to cry. I'm almost 20 weeks pregnant there with my three kids and it was already embarrassing enough that it happened. I walked back over to my cart to wait for the spill crew. They came by and dropped off a sign and I apologized profusely to the two people cleaning up. They assured me, many times, it was 100% okay and not to worry. I stood in that aisle for 5 minutes trying to calm down, hands shaking. Finally I walked back up there to purchase my gift bag and a new juice. As soon as I come around the corner that manager is walking up to us. She engages my youngest and said "I just knew you were going to do that. I knew it. Yes I did, I knew it" in a singsong voice like she's talking to an infant. I turned around and quietly said "can you please stop? That was embarrassing enough" and shocked, looking like I had insulted her, she offered up a "sorry". I'm standing there blinking back tears, shaking like a freakin leaf, and she's gotta come back and make a scene. Again. My lesson was learned before she opened her mouth. I just got in my car and sobbed feeling like the shittiest mom because the employee at Target watched me make a mistake and humiliated me for it. The employees here are rude. Whenever I need help at the self checkout, they act like it's such a big deal and are usually distracted by some conversation with another employee. Why are there so many employees working but we still have to check out our items ourselves? read more

Update: Target has since been remodeled and now it's pretty much perfect! Thanks for having what I need most of the time. The only negative is that my kids clothes sizes are always out of stock. Popular place for kids clothes and my kids' sizes are equally popular, so it seems. Sometimes, I return a week later to see if the needed sizes are in stock and most of the time I am let down. Great service by one guy when I purchased a laptop. Unfortunately the laptop fried itself within two days. I brought it back and was met with rude and uncaring employees. When I went to get my money back, they were short 100$ and I had to stand for almost an hour. The manager comes to recount, incorrectly yet again and then act like I'm the one doing something wrong. Finally get my money. Bunch of morons who can't count and couldn't care less. Never buying anything from target again. read more

Ordered a pretzel but they were out of the salted kind. So I decided to get a grilled cheese. Waited 10 min then got toast with a piece of solid-unmelted cheese. We just moved here and this was.my second trip in two days. We bought over $100 worth of goods this time and probably $500 altogether. When we got to the checkout we loaded our things as normal for scanning. The Checkout person, Anna, proclaimed loudly that we didn't do it properly. I asked her to tell us the rules so we could do it right the next time. She said there are no rules but we didn't do it right. I asked her again to explain and she just said she would later. Never experienced that kind of rudeness in a checkout. I can only assume she was on her last day and didn't care. I don't want to go back though. read more

I had purchased something in the store that I had found on the Target website, but when I got home, I realized that the price on the Target website was less than what I paid for in the store. I went back to the store the next day prepared to do battle over having paid more in the store vs the website, but was very happy at how helpful everyone was in customer service, especially Sarah and Matt. They looked up the online price, compared it to my receipt, and refunded me the difference on a gift card. I really appreciate their help and will happily continue to shop here in the future! We received a defective item and Target would not honor a return to the store as stated that they would on my online receipt. They also did not have the item so we could not do an exchange. Customer relations did not help either. The item goes in the trash with money wasted at Target. I will never shop there again!!!! BEWARE! read more

Very nice clean target. Love the Popcorn there. There's always samples there that make me want more popcorn every-time I come in because I smell it. The man that works there is very nice and helpful in food court. Seems like the popcorn is always fresh and it's very clean. Popcorn....One star. I came down with the classic MSG sickness when I ate a bag. It smelled good, tasted good, not too salty, but later I became tired and achy. Later still, I was thirsty for hours. The store is 3 stars for me. A OK, as the star rating shows. Their inventory is pretty sparse, but is spread out a lot to make the store look like it is offering more than they really are. They always have what I want for reasonable rates! Macy's used to be my favorite store...but they are too expensive now for what you get. Target really has quality merchandise and the store is laid out in a logical order. Sure hope Target stays in Prescott. It seems like everything else in Frontier Village is GONE! The employees are always helpful. If you use your target card you save 5% off any purchase. How this all started was because the register did not ring in the sale item correctly. Weights and Measures...Right? This discrepancy was brought to the attention to the cashier, she apologized and directed me over to the customer service counter. I approached the counter, the man behind the counter did not acknowledge me, just happened to look in my direction. I explained that this item rang incorrectly. He looks me straight in the eye and says it rang in for 29.99 what is the problem? This was said with all the annoyed body language and tone indicated. I re-explained this to him again. More body language and condescending tone back to me. At this point I asked for the other lady to help me, he stated your kidding right? After some insistence, I got the floor manager mike to come and assist me. After some back and forth, because I referred to the guy behind the counter, "Mr. Man Bun, " Mike then told me to "calm down or he would not help me. How are you supposed to differentiate between employee's when they do not where name tags and wear the exact same uniform.? Mike ended up giving me a refund and wanted to know why I had an extra DVD in my package? I explained that I didn't wring it up, what was he trying to imply? After my refund, I requested the General Manager's name, Ross, came to the front after many minutes of waiting. I tried to explain my story again, to Ross the General Manager and was more interested in being PC that actually listening to what I had to say??? So what I am trying to saying is that if an item is rung in incorrectly they should be more than willing to fix it not scold you for asking to do so. And because I referred to this employee as Mr. Man Bun the conversation I was shut down because I was discussing his appearance, again I ask you how are you supposed to differentiate from all the employee's if they don't wear name tags, after all they all wear Red Shirts and Beige Pants? When I tried to discuss the issue about the price and weighs and measues, he proceeded to talk over me and stated the following..."that there are hundreds of thousands of items and occasionally there are going to be discrepancies all of the time." I stated that the law is the law for a reason.... The irony of this whole mess, was as I was leaving the customer service counter another client, an elderly woman also had an item that was rung in for the wrong price :( read more

I'm not a big Target shopper. Everything Target sells I just think I can buy it at Walmart for at least two bucks cheaper. However, I'm a big buyer of makeup, and Target does sell some makeup that Walmart doesn't offer, so I wanted to look around. I was in there with my daughter looking at lipstick and a younger female employee working in the makeup area accused me of "sampling" the lipstick. She said I wasn't allowed to sample. I was standing there, lipstick in hand, but I wasn't "sampling" anything. It was a twist gloss and I was looking at the applicator of the product. The associate told me, "well since you already broke the seal I guess you can sample it". I said I didn't break the seal, there's no seal to break even, and I never planned on sampling it. She said "you'd be surprised", and refused to drop the issue. I continued to explain myself. I felt embarrassed, being accused of using the product without buying it, like I was stealing it, when all I was doing was looking at the applicator. The associate was persistent, rude, and totally inconsiderate. After she finally walked away, I felt uncomfortable looking at anymore makeup, and left the store. Say what you will about Walmart, but I've never been treated like that there. My daughter and I went to Walmart afterward, where I bought the same product I was going to buy at Target. I'll never go to this particular store again for makeup, if I ever do bother going there again. The manager of this store should inform their associates of how to treat their customers, because as someone who isn't a fan of Target to begin with, this one encounter with a rude associate just convinced me. read more

Now that it's remodeled I will never shop there again. I've been twice since it's been redone. Big, cold and too Phoenixy. If I wanted to shop and live in Phoenix I'd move there. The place seems totally dead now, I doubt it will do very well after this. I even asked an employee if people liked the new redo, to which she replied "Yes! Everyone loves it!" I responded, "Really? Because there's no one in here." I walked around the entire store and finally gave up on trying to find the paper products that I Always buy from only Target. This time I went to Costco for my papers. Brought in tons of self-checkouts that most people can't stand and won't use anyway. I almost took out my eye accidentally on their newly updated metal front-facing outside. Not to mention they took off the doors to the bathrooms.
