Where to begin? Wal-Mart pretty much has about 90% of what a typical consumers needs in order to satisfy their weekly / monthly household needs. I have been frequenting this location since they opened up a few years ago. Within the past year I have noticed a very disturbing trend from a consumer (IMHO) perspective. They don't have enough clerks manning the registers and as a result the lines are long and the waiting time to checkout is exceedingly time consuming. Also, Wal-Mart has overwhelmingly stocked their shelves with their Great Value Brand at the expensive of all the major players such as Hood, Proctor & Gamble etc.., This "Great Value Brand" is appallingly very low in quality and priced on par with the major brand names. The employees at this store are the shining example of low/no skilled labor. Get home to find groceries missing, go back to store and ask the cashier where they are, "did you ask the service desk"? Did you bring them to the service desk? No you probably just gave them to the next customer because paying any kind of attention to what you are doing is way to much to ask. Service desk had a line of 10 people, I just left. Wasted trip back for $5, I'm not standing there for 20 mins because of someone else's incompetence. read more

Has everything you could be looking for. Not enough registers open and long lines combined with a less then desirable clientele (build it and they will come right?) make me do my best to avoid going in here unless its early am before it gets crowded. Before 8am or its Target for me. read more

I like to shop here because everything I need is here but this has to be the worst of all Walmarts when it comes to waiting in line. They have 38 check out stations and generally there are 3-4 open that aren't fast lanes. I have arthritis and have stood in line over 30 mins a few times. This is a poorly managed store. It is also not as well organized or as clean as others I've visited. Since this is the store closest to my home I would love to see improvement. read more

Asked an employee about a product and not only did they not have a clue about the product but they couldn't even tell me who to speak to about said product. Also while shopping there, the employees are rude and lack customer service skills. read more

Really bad customer service. I ordered an Intex air mattress online at 6:30. I assumed they had all of their products in store so when I showed up I was told that they would not have it until tomorrow. I was extremely aggrevated because my receipt email said it would be ready "tonight". I cancelled my order because of false information, I went over to the air mattress and found the same brand for more money and Walmart would not match their online price. I will not shop here again. Even giving one star is too much. I'm IRATE!!!!! I might even boycott Walmart all together. It's really bad business on their part not to support their customers. read more

This place is a nightmare. No matter the time it's always packed & not enough cashiers ever! Hadn't been there in months & now I know why I stopped going. 11:45pm & only one self-check out open & one cashier with both lines so long it was unbelievable. The manager or supervisor whatever she was decided it was a "great" idea to force someone to go to break at midnight with huge lines & change the draw of the only manned register at the same time! They had an associate watching the only self check out like bricks of gold where being sold instead of having the associate work another register! What a nightmare! Never again! The bad thing is that my husband went last weekend & same crap, but worse. Absolutely no manned registers last Saturday! I drive further to Walmart on Broadway in Raynham just to avoid the chaos at this Walmart, unfortunately it was after 11pm & I was forced to go to this one. I think I will pass next time! read more

Last night I had the displeasure of visiting your Walmart Supercenter at 36 Paramount Drive in Raynham, Massachusetts. This was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a Walmart store, and was extremely aggravating as this was just another in a long series of bad experiences at this particular Walmart. I arrived around 11pm on Monday 24 August and found the store to be in an extreme state of disorder. This can be attributed to a store rearrangement, which is understandable BUT approximately 50% of the store was inaccessible or was out of stock. The entire back half of the food section was blocked off for what looked like floor waxing (in my opinion should not be done while the other half of the store is blocked off for other work). I managed to obtain approximately 1/3rd of the items I had made the trip for (if I had know the state of disorder the store was in I would have saved my trip for today and possibly another store). The real thing that clinched my frustration was when I went to the front end to check out. There was only a single checkout lane open and when I got in line after a couple of minutes I counted the carts in front of me and I was 18th in line. There were 18 carts in the checkout line and only ONE was open. I have called in the the past and spoken with the store manager for this particular Walmart as well as filed complaints on this site and spoken to corporate as well. All because of this particular Walmart. I have complained and complained about how the front end is ALWAYS understaffed and have constantly been fed the line "we will work better to better staff it". I understand it was late at night, but there is NO excuse to have that many people in line and not, at least, open a second or third register. Assuming the average checkout time was only three minutes (which is likely longer), that means that I, as the 18th in line, would have finished check out after 54 minutes in line. Almost an hour for checkout. NO excuse. In the past I have seen this understaffing at ALL points of the day and the week, my last complaint was about the same thing on a Saturday at 4-5pm. I can say that there is no chance I will ever return to this particular Walmart and it will be a cold day before I begin even considering returning to a Walmart in general after numerous and numerous complaints about the same issues in this and other stores. I would rather go to another company and pay a little bit more for better service and a much more efficient and speedy checkout experience. A company can only frustrate a customer so much before that customer is lost forever. read more

They have everything, which is kind of scary hah. I'd buy my dry foods there, but have never bought any meat. There is a subway inside, which isn't the best subway either. The place is open 24 hours and has tons of employees. They have self checkout as well as regular, and they do sell alcohol. Make sure you have your id though, i've seen them check before. read more

This is one of my favorite walmarts. They have a big selection, friendly staff, tons of room to roam unlike other stores. They have plenty of parking so I always get a close spot. read more

Its walmart, yes the prices are cheap but the atmosphere of this place is a nightmare. The stark lighting always makes me nauseous and gives me a headache and the place just gives a dirty vibe. The shopping carts are ALWAYS broke. I once waited in line at the exchanges for 35 minutes. The only saving grace is the grocery section is really nice and they have a nice bakery and the staff there is helpful and they have a subway. read more

I go to this Wal-Mart about twice a week with my clients from.Berkley. they are always very nice and the establishment is, for the most part, clean. The one thing I wish they had more of is workers for the registers. I know all over the globe it seems Wal-Mart never has enough employees at open registers, but it would help. The express lane goes all the way out to the jewlery counter always, and when you have six teenage girls with you and you try to go in and out quick it almost never happens. I am giving all Walmart Pharmacies 1 star. Anybody that does not have good drug coverage and has a HANNAFORDS Supermarket and pharmacy near them should check with them before going to Walmart. HANNAFORDS has a prescription program you can join for $7 dollars a year and it is good for everybody that lives at that address. Hannafords list of drugs is much more extensive then Walmarts list of covered generic drugs. Check HANNAFORDS generic covered drugs before you settle for Walmarts "everday low prices" (yeah right). read more

I'm not a fan of this store at all or even the company in general. My issue is with the lack of customer service. I went in a couple months ago looking to buy a bicycle and I couldn't find anyone to help me, I asked a couple employees and all they could tell me was that they didn't know where the guy working the sporting goods department was. They have an intercom like all other stores but did not call for him or make any attempt to help me. Another thing that bothers me is that no matter what time I come in there's always a long line at checkout and they have so many registers but only 1 or 2 open. Yet you could walk around the store and see employees working in different departments. If this were my place of business they would be paged to the front to ring backup. I find this way of doing business totally unacceptable. The only reason I come to this store is because it's the only one open after I get out of work at night. read more

Tried to buy glasses at the optical shop. But the brain trusts doing the scheduling at this Wally World have put only one person in the optical shop on a Saturday afternoon, cuz nobody buys glasses on a Saturday. So we gave up and went to buy a few things and of course the cashier was slow as molasses...can't get good help these days. read more

If you're looking to punish yourself. This place is for you. I guarantee you by the time you leave, you will have regretted every moment of your visit. This place is an absolute nightmare. They never have enough registers open. The employees are always so miserable. Management unwilling to help resolve any issue. When you call, expect to get disconnected at least twice. I hate going here. And ONLY go in dire need. The only thing I cannot complain about is that it's open 24 hours. This can be convenient. read more

I can't believe I'm writing a review for a Walmart, but this one deserves one. I used to like Walmart in general because everything is there and prices are great, but this one is awful. It's clean and big, but every single time (and I don't come very often), I end up standing in line for 25-30 minutes. The people that shop there either can't read the Express Checkout sign and show up in the express lane with 100 items and the cashier doesn't have the guts to turn them away, or they come with food stamps or whatever it is that requires split orders, looking up codes and take one customer 15 minutes to check out instead of the 3 minutes it takes me. The checkout lanes are always unstaffed besides few lonely ones with long lines regardless of time of day. What needs to be a quick errand, turns into an hour and a half ordeal, where standing in line takes longer than the shopping. Target it is, even though it would add travel time, but I'd save the time at the end since checking out there takes 2 minutes. read more

This is the worst place i have ever shopped at. The price was clearly labled 7.68 the supervisor walked over with me saw the price was marked wrong but told me sorry i can only give you one at that price. When i asked to speak to her boss she walk away looking for who put the wrong sign up as i sat at the register for 15 minutes while she chewed her staff out for putting up the wrong sign. When she walked back over she called her manager who said it is no longer law or policy to honor something with the wrong price and she will only give me one at that price. I asked her is she willing to turn away a 200.00 purchase for 20.00 she said what do you want me to do. When i told her this was horrible customer service her reply was sorry you feel that way. Now i see why so many people refuse to shop at walmart even though the prices are a little less than competitors. A little customer service goes a long way. You have lost another customer. Great job walmart your living up to your expectations. read more
