Purchased four high-end tires for my car, and two weeks later when I take my car for a tune up at the dealership, I asked them to check the tire balance (because it felt strange) and they were ALL off balance--so I paid 60$ for balancing, and when I told the tire center at this place they said it happens, it's not a big deal (even I know it can ruin my car's differential, so yea dude--it IS a big deal). No offer to refund the money I spent at the Subaru dealership--simply said that I should have brought it back (to the place that did shoddy work to begin with? NOT), and asked them to re-do it. No offer of store credit, basically said, it happens, it's because of the way you drive or because of the roads you drive on, and also said, it's not that off, so it's not that bad. Complete JOKE of a team. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Through a hilarious set of circumstances related to birthday presents, gift certificates, credit card points, and jokes gone too far, I am now a member at this Sam's Club. Whereas before I was a guest, I am a full fledged member. I will say this: I have been here about once a week for gasoline because the savings are that real. But that has some real negatives, too. Do not go here to the pumps during after-work daylight hours. Don't go on a Saturday, like, ever. My ideal time has been 8:30pm (pumps close at 9pm, though the store closes at 8:30) and that helps me avoid lines. Otherwise, you're going to wait in line like it's 1970's Los Angeles. And the other major annoyance is that their pumps are really terrible at taking my credit card. Like, it's never once worked on the first try. I put my membership card in, we cool. Then credit card, we cool. Enter your zip code, we cool. Then it says card error. Usually I repeat this process 3-5 times while I shiver until for some reason it's like, oh, okay cool, that thing you've done 4 times in a row? This time, it's cool. All those annoyances aside, I stand by my former observation that this is a ghost town anywhere outside of the pumps. That's not a complaint--I do love to avoid the crowds, so unless you're here on a Saturday, I don't think you're going to run into too many people. read more

This place has the worst managers. If you have any issues good luck. You have a manager like Vicki that is not qualified to clean y toilets and talks down to members and acts like they are a bother to deal with. Vicki is an absolute disgrace to be called a manager and should be demoted to clean the toilets and not have any contact with members. The Sam's Club in Murray, UT has great customer service!!! On 5/22/21 they helped me figure out if I would save money ordering the two patio loungers online or to take right then from the store. When each employee had to bump my questions up the chain, each response was quick and pleasant. They loaded them for me too. I never felt rushed and everyone was helpful and friendly the whole time! We stopped going to Sam's club years ago, are are loyal Costco fanatics. This year my employer offered a discount Sams membership so we thought Meh, let's give it a try!! Here's the pros/cons IMO: Pros - 1- scan and go, love this feature! Literally scan your stuff as you load it to your cart, pay on the mobile app, quick check at the door, and you're done! 2- They do have some items that are fun that Costco doesn't have. 3- location is easy to get in/out of 4- scan & go at the gas pump too! CONS - 1 - gawd forbid you forget to scan something in your cart!!! You'll get the wrath of the crusty person that has been working the door for a gazillion years, like eyeball rolling, glaring, "how dare you!!!" WRATH!!! 2- they tend to be out of stock on our favorite go-to staples a lot. Each time you go back, you may or may not find what you found last time 3- so-so customer service, people here do not seem happy to work here for the most part. You won't find happy friendly helpful people like their competitors. 4- don't expect the food court to be like Costco, it's not. I continue to have a bad experience at this specific sams club. Always understaffed. Lucky for sams club I bought my tires here. I have to go here for rotation and balancing. Every time I go it has to be scheduled although they never answer their phone. Then, when I get on the schedule, for 1pm they don't take my car until 2 pm and still aren't done until 4! Then, I came for a flat repair.... They asked if I wanted to do it the next day??? For a flat repair? Then they quoted me 5 hours later! I will never return. I hate this sams club. Hire more people, stop being lazy, and seriously focus on customer service because it really sucks read more

This review is for the tire center, and our experience today. My husband and I needed new tires before winter, and called in to schedule an appointment for both our cars one appointment at 8:00AM and the other at 9:00, I was there early by 7:45, waiting by the bay not knowing I needed to check in inside. When no one opened the bay by 8:00AM I went in and no one was even there! I walked around to customer service no one was there, and finally asked the door greeter where they were. She said they should be there, finally they said there he is, I looked at my clock and he was late to work. I went up to him and asked him if he worked in the tire center, he said yes I then told him I had an appointment at 8, and needed to check in, he then proceeded to tell me they don't have 8:00 AM appointments, and said let me guess the call center set this up. (The hours for there center say they open at 8AM) apparently he sets his own hours and gets there when he wants. I also told him I needed to check my car in soon because I needed to be on a meeting on zoom by 8:30 AM , he told me that I needed to reschedule. I'm like what? I'm going to take the zoom meeting here and wait for my car. Then he said well you're going to need to wait while I clock in, which took another 5-8 minutes. He finally rang up my tires but wouldn't let me use my Sam's credit card on file I called my husband who was on the way with our other car and told him what was going on. He said he would be right there, then Raul told me that if we are 20 minutes late he couldn't take us!!!! I was trying to pay with the new Sam's credit card I just got and he didn't know what he was doing, another customer service lady said I couldn't pay with it! By this time I was in tears! I went back to the Customer service desk and asked someone else. An angel who I wished I got her name! She came over and got my payment resolved in no time. Finally got one of my cars back, but Raul claimed we were late and pushed the second car to 11! No one else was there!!!! My husband stayed and waited. And got out of there by 12!!! I've been a loyal Sam's member for years! Never had an issue like this until today. My husband reported Raul to his manager. But not sure anything will be done. I don't give low scores often. The Angel deserves 10 stars Raul 3490 should be let go. He has no customer service skills, and was awful, he's refused to even try to use my Sam's card attached to my membership. The Angel at customer service helped us and showed him it can be done. Overall other than the wonderful customer service rep I won't ever come here for tires again! read more

I feel like I should join some type of Sam's Club Anonymous program, I've always been a fan for stocking up on meat, bottled waters, co-worker holiday gifts, holiday treats.. but since this whole pandemic ordeal, Sam's club has been my spot for dependable grocery shopping all the while staying within a reasonable budget! The gas prices are more often than not the cheapest. Their packaged salads are great and cheaper than anywhere, avocados are often on sale, their meat prices are hard to beat when comparing price/quality.. their products are great and we always build up enough cash points where our membership pays for itself. Had a polish dog and a drink. Apparently they are not using Nathan's hot dogs any more. What they gave me had a really soft, cheap texture and not the normal good texture and flavor of Nathan's. The bun was ripped and squished. The ketchup looked like red water. I hope the other locations aren't cutting corners like this one. I think the employees also need more training. read more

Always my go-to place. I must come here about twice per week. A few reasons why this place is awesome: 1. Scan n Go app so I don't even need to check out at a register! I scan the stuff on my phone, click checkout and walk out! Even if I DIDN'T have the app, there ALWAYS an open lane or even self checkout stations. 2. Super excellent quality meats and produce. Butchers are back there packing everything fresh. If you don't see something, just ask and they'll go find it or prepare it for you! 3. Always changing the items depending on the season. Fantastic selection of seasonal items. 4. When I buy large items that I need to haul home in a trailer, they will get 2-3 guys that offer to help me load it all up. They are super courteous and helpful. So one thing, though, that I am NOT a fan of is that they will just discontinue items without any notice, which sucks when we depend on them. (Original regular Almond milk replaced with Vanilla or unsweetened Almond Milk... kids CAN tell the difference! Certain cheeses, certain frozen fish, etc.) that's about it, though. Every time I come here it is dirty and understaffed. One checker , one working the door and one at the food stand. Waited in line for a piece of pizza for 20 minutes to be told they had no more and wasn't making any more. Then I had to stand in line another 10 minutes to have to have my receipt looked at so I could leave. I know a lot of places are understaffed but this was beyond ridiculous. read more

I frequent this location because it's near my home. My wife took her car to an LHM dealership because there was an audible problem with the tires. After a short drive, the tech there said the tires NEEDED replacement and alignment to fix the issue. Sounded fishy so I went up and test drove it with a tech from this Sam's club (Ken). Immediately on the test drive it was apparent that there was a rock or something sticking out of the tire (it sounded like a nail). We stopped and the tech found a bolt sticking out and leaking. This was a cause of the issue in the first place, and we debunked the dealership's reasoning for replacing all the tires, which all had 30k or more miles left of tread. In summary, a dealership tech tried to take advantage of me, but expertise from Ken and Indy saved us the trouble (and $600), and probably changed our minds, as we were about to switch back to Costco once our membership ends next week. Looks like we'll stick with Sam's Club after all. read more

It looked pretty similar to Costco, except some of their products are in smaller size. However, I think their credit card has a better deal than Costco. read more

So I decided to try out Sam's club because I am moved near one. The staff was very helpful at getting me started and today I discovered the scan and go app. Life-changing greatest thing to be able to scan in my items and then just walk out without having to wait in a line. Seriously the best thing ever! Quick easy no waiting just walked in scanned what I needed as I placed it in my cart and I was out !!! Not to mention the free stuff that you get for signing up which was cheesy but in a good way like a rotisserie chicken and a berry sundae which is delicious ! Thank you for the experience read more

They have some annoying people at the gas pumps right now and have for a week or so now but aside from that, my roommate and I have determined you can get your $$ back from the membership fees through their initial treasure hunt in the store and gift cards they provide and things of that nature. There prices are pretty good, the services is not better than costco, but their prices are, so I've been shopping here now. I've shopped at Walmart all my life and Sam's Club is better than Walmart. Same family business. Only feedback is better customer service, not that it's bad now, it's just that compared to Costco. They have improvements to make. read more

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Tires & Battery department at the Murray, UT #6683 store and I am happy to say that it was one of the best experiences at Sam's Club that I have ever had! The technician assisting me was very knowledgeable about the brands and types of tires and took the time to explain to me the differences and what would benefit my driving situation the best. He was friendly, thorough and extremely professional and I will most certainly be recommending this store to all of my friends for their tire and battery purchases! Great store and great products but like 2% of the workers seem happy to be there at all. The store's selection is great though and the store is clean. Of all of the Sam's Club's I have been to in the valley, this is the least crowded and cleanest location. If you go Saturday about an hour before closing, you practically have the store to yourself. Last night, I went fifteen minutes before closing and was in and out in five minutes. I've never had that experience at a Costco. The selection of goods changes quite often, however their food selection is consistent. My favorite blackberries come from Sam's. I took my fiancee to this location one evening and that one experience was enough to keep him from renewing his Costco card. He was in awe at how quiet the store seemed and how easy it was to navigate. I find the location quite convenient as well. It's interesting that Sam's and Walmart are one in the same because my experiences at Sam's are nothing like the he** of *duhn duhn duhn* Walmart. The gas station always has the best prices around. If you don't like the hustle and bustle of waiting in line at the "C" store (and all of those hoards of kids running around aimlessly) This place offers a nice quiet warehouse shopping experience. What I love about Sam's is that it is never truly busy. This is compared to other Warehouse stores. It is not a nightmare to find a parking space, a cart, or even the items you are looking for. This place offers items at great prices. Having a party? get some wings for the big game. Need dinner buy a roasted chicken or take home a pizza for $10. The added benefit for a membership is cheap gasoline! You will pay the cheapest prices in your area and fill up all the time The price difference is from 3-10 cents per gallon! Very big store, I like it. Many Asians shop here too because of good deals, smart people. I saw many Mormons too, they need to buy bulk. I buy many souvenirs when I travel back home. I did not appreciate the disrespect from Marty over in the tire department at sams club. Totally had no cars in the shop. I asked him what to do. And he flipped out with a attitude yelling while constantly telling me I can't park there. Wouldn't answer my questions. So I left this store and went to the one in riverton. Dont go here. I came to price out tires. I was very disappointed they don't have the tires I wanted for my truck. They tried to talk me into buying a different tire that had a lower weight rating than I needed. The salesman was not knowledgable about weight ratings on truck tires. If I would have bought the suggested tires I could have been driving a very unsafe vehicle. I go here for cheap, good tasting, fast food. Their hot dogs are excellent and CHEAP. Pizza pretty good by the slice, less good the more you eat. Pretty much a go to place when not wanting to spend much, satisfy my immediate hunger and get a decent no frills dog. Sure, Johnniebeefs is better, but Sam's is a better value. Their price seem lower, & granted at either costco or SAMs u can get some "killer deals" depending on what you need.
