I'm disappointed in my experience at Walmart as of 06/16/26. I went to this Walmart with my husband to purchase Dossier perfume. I walked into the aisle to find out that it was locked so I had to find a Walmart employee to help me out. I found a female Walmart employee working. I asked the elder lady politely if she worked around that department, and found out that she didn't and that they left home for that day, as she was not giving me eye contact. She then told me "what do you want" bluntly. I work retail myself and I don't even speak to customers that way. I can tell by her gestures and facial expressions that she was bothered and I didn't feel welcomed to get helped out. She then proceeded to walk to the aisle of the perfumes and pulled out her phone and unlock the door in silence. She didn't explain what she was doing, and the whole situation was awkward because I felt like I was bothersome. She then took out the perfume and put it on an antitheft box. Despite my efforts, I remained positive and said thank you and I did not get any response back. How are they going to advertise "happy to help" on their vest, when their own employees honor that saying? I get that people have bad days, but if you don't like your job then you are not obligated to work there. And just because you had a bad day, it doesn't mean you go out of your way to let it out on somebody else. I'm overall dissatisfied by the way the employee handled me as a customer. The atmosphere felt tense when I walked in the store. There was no hi, good afternoon, nor have a good day from any employee. I just walked in and walked out pretty much. They treated me like as if I was trying to shoplift just because I had an expensive item on my hand. No customer service that day I guess. This store offers a great amount of quality for buyers, but the customer service doesn't meet that same quality. This is a bad example of what Walmart should be. read more

I'm not wild about this Walmart. This place is so disorganized, and messy. It seems like a tornado came through here and left everything disheveled and upended every time I come through here. Last time, I was looking for Coca-Cola flavored Oreos. They were selling the Oreo flavored Coca-Cola, so this was extenuating circumstances where I had to get the rare opposite food from the drink. You'd think they'd be perfectly paired for each other. I won't review the Oreos or cola on here. The clerks see completely aloof. They are just there to deal with the masses. The greeter seemed almost comatose. Fortunately, I found the cola quickly, and was able to get in and out of here. I hate this place. Everything is sticky here. Parking is a mess. I prefer to park way far away from all the other cars so I don't get stuck in traffic with customers doing crazy things. Nobody that approaches you in this Walmart parking lot is going to offer anything positive in your life. My advice is to stay away if you can. read more

So I just went in for mayo but started walking around it was clean and organized. The employees not as friendly but I guess more then 5 employees were having a bad day that they couldn't say good afternoon or even smile. Maybe it's just me I expect people to have a little kindness in them to say hi or smile doesn't cost anything. Thank you for reading. read more

Oh it was an exhilarating experience at the ghetto mall, I never spent so many food stamps in one place! And the fashion show of shoppers is always an experience in itself, although I felt kinda out of place among all the women with McDonald's figures in skin tight leggings that accentuate every crack and crevice you never wanted to know they have, And the symphony of screaming children for your listening pleasure always makes for a relaxing stroll down past the toy aisle, I absolutely cannot WAIT to go again, I didn't take any pictures this time but, I didn't see the point, every Walmart Ive ever been to, looked pretty much the same read more

Where to find stuff when you need them when you do half of them, don't know what day of the week it is much less product is located

On 12/24/2024 at about 1pm- My service animal Megan and I got went to the Walmart with the subway inside at 5025 Northwest Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78229 We entered and sat at table as subway has a 20% of subs when you order online so I was putting my purse and getting seated so I can log on wifi at Walmart and sign in when I was rudely interrupted patronizing Hispanic woman with blonde or so high lights and told I can't have my dog inside restaurant and it is not al- lowed that I must leave area until I can show proof that my dog was a service animal and that I must leave she was very demanding patronizing belittling and rude pointing yelling laughing with other staff which was a younger Hispanic lady joking and saying it's not allowed and refusing service to me because my service dog. I told her I have her registration on my phone she was rushing and still arguing with me throwing off my ser- vice animal.as she is now worried be cause I am angry and abouut to black out causing my blood pressure to rise due to mocking. She was nasty with approaching a grown woman and acting like she was indeed correct. read more

I don't like Walmarts in general (save for the Neighborhood Walmarts) and I try to avoid going to them altogether if I can help it. However, my tire was getting low and I didn't want to travel to an Office Max/Office Depot after gassing up my car at a nearby Sam's and I needed some mailing supplies STAT. That being said, I was able to find everything I needed. I picked up two parcel bags and a roll of package tape all for under $6, well below the price I would have paid at an office supply store. I also used self-checkout which saved me some time. Walmart is notorious for having one or two lanes open and long lines. At least here, they eradicated the lanes they don't use and replaced them will self-checkout kiosks. One of the rare times I've shopped at Walmart without getting a headache. read more

Walmart Super Center, 8500 Jones Maltsburger Rd. I am so distraught at seeing 25 checkout stations and only 8 occupied with cashiers! Why are there no more than 8 cashiers in a Super Center that has 25 checkout stations? Yes, there are long lines. You can go to the self check out registers but sometimes, you desire a personal relationship with a human. I feel Walmart should hire more checkers. If there is a hiring problem "FIXIT". The customers need to get in and get out. Also ... where are the scooters? I am disable and there are never enough scooters to go around and only at ONE entrance are the scooters available. Walmart, please correct these problems. You are the only conglomerate in San Antonio, we love you but please come up to standards for your customers. read more

I had a nail in the sidewall of my tire and needed to have it replaced. I went to two other tire repair shops that tried to up sell me on tires and told me it would be at a minimum two hours long to replace the tire. I had just gotten off of a 12 hour overnight shift and was exhausted. I went to Walmart's auto repair center and they were able to replace the tire in under 45 minutes. The employees were all very professional and they showed me all of the tire options available for my vehicle. They didn't push warranty's or expensive tires. Instead, they gave me their advice, and helped me find the best option for my budget and for my car. If I ever need another tire replaced I will definitely be back to this auto center. The price, time, quality, and customer service can't be beat. read more

Customer service can be a bit better, over all my visits are not at all expensive, still I can get in get out and get what I need. Customer service lines are way too long and definitely need help and sometimes can get frustrated and show through customer service. Horrible bakery service!!! Both of the women were so rude when I asked what cake size I needed. It was so mad that I asked for a manager and when he came all he said was "oh I'm sorry to hear that." How about how can I make it a better experience for you. I'm going to Sam's. I was only trying to buy a small cake for my son's 1st birthday party at SeaWorld... 5025 NW loop 410 is one of the most under staff Walmart's I have ever been to. If I could give it zero stars I would. Every time I come to customer service it's always packed. Has only one cashier. The employees here see us waiting 30-45 minutes and don't try to help. We trying telling someone but they never help. The worst Walmart ever. Trying to change items and it's my third time took an hour and 12 minutes. This is so disappointing because this is the only Walmart close to be. I'll drive the extra miles from now on to get to a better Walmart. read more

This Walmart is my "Go to" Walmart since its down the street from my home. It's clean and the staff are pretty helpful whenever I needed assistance. I enjoy shopping there, if I had a complaint, it would be to have more registers opened, but it seems they want to save money by making you go thru the self checkouts. Some people just prefer to speak to a cashier, or ask questions about some items. Otherwise no complaints. read more

This place is terrible for store pickup. I walk in and stand around for 15 minutes without even being acknowledged. The cholo comes out of the warehouse and says "Yeah, wut u need". I hand over my ID and show the barcode on my cell phone. The (gang member) employee doesn't say a WORD to me the entire time he processes my pickup. They have one electric cart that works and one broken. They are rude and unprofessional. Aisles are crowded with boxes of stuff the employees are too lazy to put up. They are always out of stuff. Theres never enough check outs open but you will see employees just standing around. read more

It is a older style Walmart. It is located next to a Sam's with lots and lots of parking spaces. For basic household needs and personal items, no other stores can touch Walmart in term of prices. On this visit, there were only two cashiers working, so the check out time was extremely long. Walmart is great when you are watching your budget. read more

Jeers to the automotive department at the Walmart on Nacogdoches/1604! I went in for a slow leak on one of my tires and was told there was nothing wrong. They couldn't tell me why air was leaking and that the tire was fine. I listened to my Spidey sense and took my car to another Walmart, to the one located on 410/summit parkway. Thank you ANTHONY for being a professional and going the extra mile without even being prompted! He actually REMOVED the tire and was able to see, from the inside, the small piece of metal causing the problem. Thank you Anthony for saving me money, time and effort!!!! One of the items did not ring up at the shelf/sticker price, but the cashier was able to resolve this efficiently. Otherwise, checkout was fast.
