I bought multiple boxes of Kellogg's Cereal from this store paying full price. There was a packaging issue with the boxes which I brought to the attention of Kellogg's. Graciously, they insisted on sending me coupons for 2 replacement boxes. I tried to use the self-checkout today, but was told I needed to go to a manned register to use a coupon. I put my things back in the cart and found a long line to get in. After 10 minutes the cashier rang up my items, but said she couldn't honor the manufacturer's coupons. She called a manager. He said Walmart no longer honors buy one get one free coupons. I said, this is not a buy one get one free, these are replacement coupons for a product I bought from your store. He said WALMART does not let anything leave the store for free. I told him, people walk out of your store every day with free items. The only difference is, I have a coupon from the manufacturer. He said, that's a different problem. We will not honor these coupons. You need to find another store. So, I guess I will go shopping elsewhere. Wife had purchased some clothes and attempted to return them. Looked up their policy online 90 day window, tags on clothes. After talking to the lady at the services desk, a representative of Wal-Mart, I felt the need to review our experience. The Lady spoke to us like we were 5 years old. She had no social skills. There was not an ounce of courtesy, no welcoming smile. More of that's the was it is No Refund, the website is wrong and you are out of luck. So buyer beware. I went in to look for a lotion and the clerk tells me over there and points. I just try to follow her direction, but could not find the lotion. I seen another clerk and asked where is the toothpaste. This is ridiculous they have one person working returns and an extremely long line. Zero customer service and management is failing horrible here. Just spoke Telma who is saying they only have one person that is trained to work on the returns. After speaking with several people the person in the back, that was sorting through who knows what, started working on the register. I needed an item from the lock box. after I pushed the button for help no one came over. So I went to her and asked her if she could assist me. She asked what I needed and it was something personal so then she yelled it very loudly. Then when she met me over to the lock box she didn't ask "which one may I get you" instead she stood there in silence and gave me a dirty look until she finally decided to speak and ask what item. I had to wait over an hour to get my baby's formula. (Edit: it's been 3 months since this review and its still impossible to get formula; they havent bothered to fix the button or get employees to help;) I asked employee after employee after employee, probably over 10 people. Because the Formula is in a locked cabinet, I had to wait. I rang the dumb button and waited. I asked multiple people who said they had no keys. One lady said she would text her manager. No one came. I asked another lady if she had a radio to call someone. No one came. By the time I got to the register I was fed up and angry thinking about my groceries melting and the torture of having to go to an entirely separate store with my baby and unloading him and loading him back up just to get his Formula because employees were ignoring me. I asked the two cashiers who I was next to and finally caught a manager who directed someone to get the Formula for me. and I don't know why Formula keeps capitalizing itself on my phone. Lol. After a long, awkward, frustrating experience and wait, I finally got his Formula. It was excuse after excuse. There should be solution based thinking in customer service, always. Not keeping the customer waiting who's spending hundreds of dollars at your store. Not that the money matters as much as my time or energy, but still. UPDATE 6/14/22: this place only gets worse. I went to the bathroom, waited for a stall, an employee came out. There was a huge mountain of toilet paper to the side of the toilet filled with poop on the ground. No one did anything. They had no carts for over 10 minutes. I had to scour the store looking for one, with my baby in my arms, even asked people if they were done with their carts yet. Couldn't find one for over 10 minutes before some were returned to front of the store. Terrible. UPDATE OCT 2022: I called customer service asking for a manager because they overcharged me $12+ for formula. The price tag said $32.88 and when I rang it up it was $44+. I didn't notice till i got home and saw the receipt and wondered what the hell food item I paid for that was almost $50. Not even organic formula..I called customer service and waited a long time explaining my situation very detailed and had to get a call back from a manager who (surprise, not..) never called me. Next time I went in I dreadingly went to customer service desk asking for a refund. After over a 30 minutes wait with groceries in my cart and employees too busy fidgeting with a fudging TV instead of helping customers in line including 2 managers, I went through 3 people and they wanted me to speak to a fourth manager plus wait 15-20 minutes or more so they could review the cameras to see what the price was that day instead of accepting they overcharged me $12 dollars for formula. All the excuses and nonsense in the world and time wasted I'll never get back and that money could have fed my baby. Oh yea and I was waiting in line with my baby to go to the bathroom and literally 2 women walmart employees cut in front of me and helped themselves. This place is possessed with evil. Oh and (I mean it goes on) they force you to let them scan some of your items before you do your own self checkout. And literally in the year and a half I've been going to this walmart (not by choice but you know how the world is) they NEVER answer their phone. EVER. how is this allowed? Criminal organization....One more thing..when you DO happen to get formula they don't actually hand it to you, they force you to wait until you check out and you have to get it from register 10. But prior to being forced to hold the line up for ten plus minutes she had ME (the customer!) go back and "get one with a barcode". First of all, not my fault or problem that THEIR product didn't have a barcode and secondly, I should not have been the one to have to go and get it. I would call the store manager to let him or her know what is going on but they never answer the phone. The manager of the store obviously does not care to hear from the customer so i decided to leave this review. Every time we use the online grocery pick up at this store the fruit and or vegetables are always bruised and damaged. Just try to cut open a cantaloupe and you can plainly see that it has been drop or hit on something. It was picked up on Wednesday and today is Friday. This Walmart is no different than any other Walmart I've been to. The reason why I give it two stars (instead of one) is because it is conveniently located near my house and they may have items not readily available at nearby competitors. Walmart has been on a service decline for quite some time. It's very rare that Walmart associates (on the floor) offer any type of help. More often than not, they are very cold and never try to make eye contact. When you do get the chance to flag a worker down for assistance, they rarely know where items are located and/or give the impression that you're bothering them. Another thing about their workers is that they project an unprofessional appearance. Some associates look like they just got out of bed and simply put on their work-clothes (along with their grumpy faces). Not only is their appearance horrible, but the attitude and lack pride is extremely evident. Lastly, their checkout process is horrendous. Lines are unnecessarily long and there is never immediate attention to that matter. Perhaps Walmart is so concerned about their bottom line, that they are relying too heavily on customer self-checkout. In sum, Walmart is a company that got too big for its own good. The service aspect has significantly declined. Often times you hear that the patrons might not look well-kept, but that doesn't mean that Walmart associates can do the same. I try to avoid Walmart as much as I can, but sometimes I just have to go. My advice is that Walmart should take a look at the other reputable retailers, such as Home Depot, and take a lesson on service. read more

My Family and I went to Walmart in San Jacinto Ca to buy a Christmas tree. We waited 15 mins for any employees to help us. We have to ask/tell employees to page or use the radio to call for help employees does not feel like doing it. Walmart has Lack of employees. We to help 1 employee to disassemble the Christmas tree. My family and I bought the last Christmas tree which is also one of their last Christmas tree display, with broken branches, no box container provided. We asked Thomas the manager for mark down but Thomas did nothing and stated he can't do anything. Lack of Employees, lack of trainings and Bad services. Non of their employees is willing to help. My wife my son and I we're at the front doors at 11:45 p.m. tonight Friday night and the store associate was not letting anyone in. Why do you have signs on your doors and on websites that state you are open until midnight but at 11:45 p.m. you are not allowing more customers to come in. I will be contacting the corporate office headquarters and will also speak to the store manager and have him review his store cameras to show where we are being rejected from coming into the store when there is still 15 minutes left before you closed doors. Came to Walmart for essential supplies and I am really upset at my experience that hardly was anyone wiping the self checkout registers and there was no enforcement for face masks. The experience while being at walmart is great. Haven't had any issues while there. On the other hand there telephone line is horrid. They take forever to find out what you want and even longer transfering you someone. I called once to see if they had ice cream. they took a minute to answer and then transfered me to someone other department and it was dead silent for 2 minutes! I hung up and called back. It only took 47 seconds to answer..WOW! improvement right..haha no! This call was 7 minutes long. I can't even remember how long it was for them to just tell me they didn't carry it. I understand it's busy and I'm most likely not the only one who was calling but c'mon have me waste 10 minutes just for a no to an Icecream. you guys should improve on your line service. read more

I like walmart and they usually have everything I need...the one thing I really hate about walmart is that most of their employees are LAZY. I have received some good customers service from here but mostly bad ones. Today I needed to get formula (enfamil) for my baby and this brand was locked behind a glass window. Above it there is a button you push for service. I pushed it and no one came. Pushed it the second time still no one came. Then an employee who was cleaning walked passed me just looked at me and went on her way. A few seconds later she comes back to say "register 14 has a lot of formula." Then she just walks aways. I used to love shopping at Walmart for the prices and ease of shopping. But it's gone down the drain in the past 4-5 years. The employees are rude and act like they're above the customers. I'm not saying all because there is one or two employees who go above and beyond for customers. However the ones that "helped" me out yesterday and today didn't even try to do their job right. Walmart encourages guests to use the app to scan items for price check since they don't have the machines around this store anymore. I used it yesterday to check the price on a 3 way electric plug I found and it said it was $10.96. When I checked out it was ringing up at $12.98. I showed the worker there the price and she said they do not price match the apps prices. So then how are we supposed to know the price on most items when they're either in the wrong place or just don't have a price tag? I paid for my stuff anyways and on my way out I asked a lead cashier and he said "as long as it's sold and shipped by Walmart they can price match it". Which I've always known that about Walmart since they're app came out. So I had to go stand in the long line to return it and repurchase it at the right price. Well I had also bought a Christmas wreath and I went to return it today because I found the one I bought last year. I had my receipt and was expecting it to go back on the credit card I used to pay for it. They refused to put it back on the original form of payment. They said they can only give me a gift card. I have a job that requires me to work with food, wear gloves, and play with various items that can get stuck in my wedding ring. I went to Walmart to buy an inexpensive ring that wouldn't get caught on the gloves or get food stuck in the various parts of it. I found one that I liked and waited at the counter for assistance from one of the three employees gathered at the other end of the counter. They never asked if I needed help and walked away before I approached them for help. I ended up hunting down another employee in a nearby department and she had a really bad attitude about having to step away from what she was doing to help me. She even yelled at the three employees, who had returned after she had started helping me. I bought the ring and paid for the protection plan, but was told that I needed to speak to the department head, Olga, to see about getting the ring sized. Olga came over and told me that it would be at the most a week for the ring to be sized because graduation was over and they didn't have many items being sent out for sizing. She did tell me it could be two weeks, but more than likely one. This was on July 17, 2019. I returned to the store on July 29, 2019 to inquire about the ring. I stood at the counter for nearly 30mins before I called the store for assistance. I had been pushing the help button and had at least a dozen employees pass by. Finally the woman answering the phone came over, unaware that the person she was trying to help (me), was at the jewelry counter. I had told her that no one responded to the page over the intercom and no one answered the call button. She said it didn't work. Certainly looked like it did though. She checked to see if my ring was in, it wasn't, and I was told it wouldn't be ready for two to three weeks, not the one (two max) that I had been told. She brought over the department head, Olga, and I got excuses about how they had inventory and things were delayed by two weeks. Then I learned that no one had sent out my ring for two days, so now it was delayed by an additional nine days. I was told by Olga that the other woman who had helped me just before her, was in charge of the paperwork and she hadn't done it. The woman had shared moments before that she was off for two days and came back to my ring waiting to be sent out. I asked Olga if the other woman was the only one able to do the paperwork for the rings to be sent out for resizing. She shared that they were all responsible for completion of that paperwork. Again she said my timing in having the ring resized was bad because of the store's inventory. Olga promised to call the company today (July 30, 2019) and ask when she could expect the ring back at the store, and that she would call me to let me know. It is almost 5pm and I have not received a call from her with that information. Walmart sucks. read more
