We've had two rather negative experiences with ordering grocery items and picking them up at Walmart. The most recent happened this morning with Easter egg baskets and goodies for my grandchildren they're ordered on Friday but disappeared by the time we picked up Sunday morning at 9:30. They are available in stock on Friday and my wife paid for him it was our expectation they'd be there on Sunday. What happened to the old law first come first serve? In the girls clothes section there is a whole rack of bathing suits with a balloon and sign saying Clearance and NOT one bathing suit is marked down. So I asked a sales associate and she tells me she doesn't know why they are not clearenced. This is my second day going in there and they are still on the same rack and still not clearanced. So I asked a manager and he asked another sales associate to help me and he took off. She was no help because no one could answer my question. Dissatisfied customer with 25-year history. I have been a Walmart customer since 1987. At that time I lived in League City, Texas and would use the Webster Walmart location. From 1987 to 1989 I personally met Sam Walton twice and was impressed by his unassuming and low-key management style. Two main attractions kept me coming back in those days; the Walmart 'Satisfaction Guarantee' and the buy American campaign. Over the years I have enjoyed a relationship with Walmart mainly because of the 'Satisfaction Guaranteed' return policy and competitive price points. Why I will not do business with Walmart from this time forward. I recently bought a second home in the San Jacinto Mountains (elevation 5545 feet). This home is a repo and needs considerable repairs and remodeling. The house has no furniture so consequently I needed some kind of provisions for sleeping while I spent three days painting the interior. I purchased two Coleman air mattresses ($69.94 + 7.550 tax) from Walmart located at: 1861 South San Jacinto Ave., San Jacinto, CA 92583. Both mattresses were defective and leaked air, which left me on the hard floor on the night of April 4th/5th ;on the 5th I purchased another mattress at another shoppe. On April 6th, I attempted to return the defective mattresses to the San Jacinto store location at 4:58 pm and was told by assistant store manager Theresa (wouldn't give last name) that I could only return these defective air mattresses for a store credit and could not have my money back. I attempted to telephone the store manager Francisco Ahumada and was unable to reach him by phone I also attempted to reach Lisa Flores (district manager) and was unable to reach her by phone. Since I was en route to my home in Beverly Hills (adjacent) I saw no reason to carry defective air mattresses with me for some 130 miles so I left them at the Walmart store. Walmart needs to make it clear that their 'Satisfaction Guarantee' is no longer in effect, I will be taking my business to JC Penny's et al where they have instituted no hassle return policies. At present I think I will take this to small claims court since Walmart management has been nonresponsive. read more

Would give it no stars but that is not an option. Greeter was pleasant but it took her way too much time check me in only for me to go hop in another line and wait for return. I get to the counter the lady told me that he can't return my shirt because they don't have them in the system that this item is either clearance out or that they no longer carry this because my items are short sleeve and they're going into long sleeves. This store has horrible customer service and highly disengaged managers so I NEVER SPEND MONEY HERE but it was a return so I thought they can at least be good for that. To be clear on their policy I called corporate before coming because this store always has different policy from everywhere else. When I called the home office they said I could return at any store. Long story short these shirts were a back to school item. When I went to the Dept they had not 1 but 3 RACKS of these SAME shirts that the lady claims is not in her system. I ask to speak to a manager I got customer service which did not go check or engage me before she supported the cashiers false claims. So I called the 1800WALMART number someone from home office put me through to a salaried member of management at the store ROGER who despite me standing in the store proceeded to talk to me on the phone. He also never checked and clearly had no intent on trying to resolve my complaint. Of course I ask for his manager which of course was not in. SMH ‍ this store has it all wrong. I could go to another store and not have this problem but it is principal. Not only did they waste and hour of my time jumping in circles but they never actually attempted to assist. And Salaried managers? Huh what a joke ROGER was horrible no one did their due diligence instead they treated me like I was in the wrong for expecting them to follow the rules posted on the wall for returns without a receipt. But its nice and clean and organized and the sales floor is actually recovered and filled in by the employees. Nice n tidy. What a huge difference this store is. This is by far one of the worst most racist Walmart's I've ever been to. I've never been treated in such a way. I was in a self checkout line when a kids comes running out of no where and yells at me "you can't pay here they're the last ones." Referring to the people in front of me. To that I responded well we've been waiting in line and there's no sign that states you're closing this register down. He responded with a cocky attitude "well you haven't been waiting for that long." I took my cart and went to the other side to pay. As I was walking out I turn and see an older white women paying in the register I was told I could not pay. I asked the two young ladies if they could call a manager over and explained the situation. One of the girls went to get a manager. Michael the kids that had yelled at me came over. He asked me with an arrogant and cocky attitude if I was the one that asked for a manager? I responded yes and explained what had just happened. He replied with a snarling tone "well I didn't see anything I don't what you're talking about." I asked him if he could please get some one higher than him. He again responded with a cocky superior attitude "someone higher than me!? Hahaha someone higher than me?! Okay." I don't know if he was trying to intimidate me or what. He radioed a few names over his walkie-talkie. So I waited patiently for the manager to show up. I saw him doing the most random things as I waited. Once the manager and security showed up I explained to them what had happened and why I was upset. The manager said she would have a talk to him about his actions and this would be a good learning experience. He did apologize for his actions. As a manager I've be embarrassed for the way he acted. this wmart is a joke! you have a bunch of useless mgr's sitting around, eating on the floor, looking at their phones and not interested in helping you with what you need. wmart which used to care about the customers now treat them like crap. do they not remember that it is us the customers that pay for their salary! if a bunch of us just stop shopping there, eventually it will be noticed. they treat people with disabilities with no respect. if you have to use an electric handicap cart and need to take it out to your car to unload, they yell at you that you can not take the cart out. yet when i tell them that i asked for carry out for this very reason this way they could take the cart back, no one came to help. instead i get a bunch of useless employees just looking around trying to see if they can find someone, not really trying to find anyone. they have their little click and they let you know that you're bothering them. they have too many useless chiefs and not enough indians to fulfill the jobs that customers need! we spend hundreds of dollars a month here. we shop once a week and will also have items delivered to our home by employees. they do a hell of a better job. i understand why so many employees are miserable here. wmart treats their employees horribly. they want them to work faster than a robot and do other's jobs that they didn't finish in the crazy alloted time. they also downtalk to their employees if you're a different race. the mexicans that work here in higher up positions have their own clique and will work against you. if you complain about this store, they don't care. they don't call you and if and when they do, it's just a joke. record all of your conversations if you ever get to talk to them. always check the prices they are ringing up. i can't tell you how many times, i've gotten an item because of the price and when they ring it up, most of the time they know you'll be distracted and won't check what they're ringing up. what they ring up vs what the price was posted at are two very different things. and it's always higher never lower. i always catch them and dispute the charge. i even at times will take pictures of the item on the shelf as it was to show proof. 10 times out of 10 i will get that price adjusted. i don't wait till i get home to check receipt because for reasons that they won't answer the phone and if they do they will just tell you to come right back with the receipt. so there you are wasting time and money on gas having to go back and forth because of their ill will practicies of over charging the customer. one time this cashier charged my husband 3x the amount of kitty litter. we never buy more than one at a time. i had to go back and show their useless mgr's. did they compensate me? no of course not. we need to start holding wm responsible for their ill will practices. the mgr's laugh at you when you tell them you will never come back to thier stores, because they know they have millions of customers and one or two dropping out won't hurt them. watch give it a couple of years more before amazon hurts them where it hurts in the pocket. i for one can't wait to see wmart goout of business. mr. walt would not be happy on how they treat their customers. also if you're going to lock everything up in this store, how about actually having employees with keys available to assist us instead of making us wait? i will no longer support this store. stater brothers is far superior in their quality of food and customer service. they treat you like king's and queens at the ones i go to, and no matter which stater bros it is, if i need assistance for carryout that employee that is bagging your groceries is the one they're suppose to send out to assist you! whoever runs wmart stores is getting paid for doing a shitty job! #boycottwalmart read more

So, this is the biggest shopping center in all of San Jacinto and Hemet combined. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of Walmart in general, and I would much rather head over to the Super Walmart in Hemet than go to this one. A lot of ghetto, trashy people can be found, slumming in or around this department store. I have ran into a lot of rude employees too. Then again, I have spotted a few employees who are helping and nice. No matter what time of day though, this place always seems to be crowded. Overall, I give it just a 3/5 read more

From Banning, to Hemet to this store, WalMart can't keep inventory in stock, when it comes to items in much need for the general public. It is cold and flu season, yet, their cold and allergy aisle is nearly empty of EVERYTHING on their shelves. No basic nasal sprays, hardly any cold or allergy medications in the Equate brand. Dear WalMart, get your stinking act together. People come to you for Equate products for a reason, yet you don't do much to keep items in stock. There's no excuse for having empty shelves during a season where everyone counts on Equate products and value. No one wants to pay four times as much for medications at a Walgreens, Rite Aid or a CVS. Will not even get groceries from you, if you can't meet the needs for non-food items. read more

Do not waste your time or energy with this walmart location. It's the worst one I have EVER had the misfortune to enter. The store is in disarray, shelves are real low on products, their selection is limited on much needed items, and more. The one aspect of the store that needs major improvement in is the cashiers. It takes forever to get through a line and with only 5 check stands open, you're gonna be there for a while. On this last visit, I waited in line for OVER 30 minutes while the checker did her "job." Was going to back out of the line and head to another one many times, but got suckered in to thinking the checker was going to speed up! Their "market" section is brutal too. This store needs to educate their workers on Service Dog laws. Today I tried going grocery shopping and when I was walking in an aggressive Pitbull lunged at my service dog. The owner claimed it was a service dog and had fake registry papers that they bought online and your security, manager and greeter let him in. I had to leave cause I was afraid for both mine and my service dog's life. I am disabled and with the help of my service dog I am able to go out more and have more independence. These fake service dogs need to stop! There is no registry for service dogs, ESAs have no public access, service dogs should show NO form of aggression, should be potty trained, not pulling on the leash and under the handler's control AT ALL TIMES. If this pitbull were to attack a REAL service dog OR a customer, your store would be held liable. I go here a lot because it is around the corner from where I live so it's pretty convenient. They have most of everything I need and they're open 24 hrs, that's always a plus. I definitely don't keep coming back for the customer service. I know I probably shouldn't expect much because it is Walmart, but a simple hello, goodbye, how are you will not kill you! There are a few cashiers there that are just so unhappy. Overall, if you need a place that's convenient, carries a variety of things you need, and open 24 hrs this store is just the thing. Just don't expect exceptional service around the clock. Side note: stay away from produce section and the bakery. read more

I have been coming to this Wal-Mart for years and yesterday was the first time I felt targeted or discriminated against. I was in the self-help checkout area and an employee asked me if I'd like help scanning my purchases. I declined and proceeded doing my own check out. About two minutes later another employee walked up to me demanding I let her scan my "big purchase items" (these were her words). She was pointing at the dog food and toilet paper. I told her I had everything under control but she kept insisting. When I asked why she was pushing this issue she stated this is a new store policy that started three weeks ago, that they have to scan at least one big purchase item from every customer coming through self check out. I thought that was suspicious because the others scanning their purchases around me weren't being harassed like I was. Eventually I told her to scan my two paper towels so she would just go away so I could finish up. This experience was uncomfortable, ridiculous and unnecessary. I order some storage boxes that could only be picked up and this was the closest store. So I drove 30 minutes and arrived at the pickup area outside and was told to go inside to the tower and sign in this was for food pickup only. I went inside and signed in and waited 30 minutes. After telling Customer Service twice I was still waiting I received my order. That was not fast or easy. If they can't ship to your home forget it. read more

For the most part all the regular 9 to 5 employees are fine. It's the direction they are forced to go and lack of leadership from management that's the problem. And I'm not talking CSM or CSS no it's the salary managers that don't care. I worked at this store almost 1 year and during so I was unable to move up even though I was qualified and lucky if i got 20 hours a week. Plus they hired me as a cashier and they constantly made me do other jobs even ones that get paid more but you keep your pay rate. They tried to fire me cause they don't pay attention to their systems and they said I had 16 occurrences when your only allowed 9 and then they told me that they were wrong but gave me a write up anyways. They treat their cart pushers like crap and never stick up for their employees especially when I was getting cursed out and threatened by a customer right in front of managers faces. read more

I like this Walmart but the other Walmart in Hemet is a bit cheaper, don't know why but that always seem to happen. Same with Walmart in Perris and Moreno Valley, Perris is a bit higher compare to the one in Moreno Valley. I noticed its when I bought a kitchen wooden stool and had to exchange it because it was a bit tall, I bought the stool at the Walmart in Perris for 22 bucks, don't quite recall the price precisely but I wanted to go to the Walmart in Moreno Valley off of Day street to see if their anymore sizes, well when I exchange it, the price at the Walmart in Moreno Valley was like 17 bucks for the same stool, I asked the employee and they told me that it happen a lot. Weird but true. So Walmart is Walmart some has the Super Center while other doesn't, I like Walmart regardless, just wish all their prices was the same. read more
