This store is a joke. It's hard pressed to get someone to answer the phone and when they do, you are hung up on. The phone number for the pick up, that's posted on the signs, is disconnected. Don't ever ever ever come here. Take the extra time to go to the Rittenhouse Walmart

I handsomely agree with the review before mine Teresa N. I find it a little disheartening after spending time checking out my items and spending out of my hard earnings to get stopped on the way out with three bagged items while a full cart drives by. I think if you're going to check one, you need to check all. The only reason for two stars, I think Walmart could be a 3 star store, work on your employees or hire new management

The shoes were in perfect condition, with the tags and receipt, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. When he attempted to return them, the employee acted as though they no longer accepted shoe returns. My husband has an accent and is not originally from this country, and the way he was treated made us very uncomfortable and concerned that he was being treated differently because of that. I called the store afterward to clarify the return policy and was assured that there was no policy preventing them from accepting a return on shoes. Then traveled out of the country. Before leaving, a manager had assured us that they would take care of the situation when we returned. Unfortunately, by the time we came back, we were outside the return window for receiving the money back on the original payment method. The new manager we dealt with was not understanding or considerate of the situation. In fact, she told us that even the store manager might not be able to do anything, but that manager would not be back for another five days. After everything that had happened, we were left wondering what the purpose of waiting another five days would be. We ultimately accepted store credit just to resolve the situation and move on. Then, as we were leaving, we could see the three employees together through the window, laughing shortly after our interaction. Whether they were laughing about us or not, that is certainly how it appeared, and it was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. This entire situation could have been handled so easily with basic communication, understanding, and customer service. Instead, it became a frustrating experience from beginning to end. Nordstrom has a reputation for taking care of its customers. Unfortunately, this particular experience was the complete opposite. I sincerely hope management reviews what happened, because every customer deserves to be treated with respect and dignity--regardless of their accent, background, or how they communicate.

San Tan Village The first thing anyone would…read morenotice about San Tan Village is that it's all outdoors. An easy way to look at the villages layout would be like picturing 5 outdoor strip malls that got put together in a "village" form. San Tan Village looks a lot like it came straight out of Europe with the way its decorated and set up. It has cobble stone streets, a few grand fountains, old fashioned clocks, and trees all over the place. All this takes the shoppers experience back to the original source of shopping. With all the décor, the village seems like it holds a lot of class to its name, on top of all the stores it has. It gives the American shopper the feeling of- "I'm cool, I'm in pretend London right now", which holds the possibility of them wanting to spend a lot more money. Even though the village is outside don't let the elements scare you off. they have all their sidewalks shaded, with misters above that give the shade the extra few cooler degrees. San Tan Village was recently built a few years back. However I still consider it brand new, compared to any other mall in Arizona. Since the village is new it is really nice and clean. You can tell that the village staff does a really good job at maintaining it, and keeping it from getting run down, and keeping its presentable status. Since the mall is nice this will bring in more customers. One thing I noticed when I was observing the mall, was there was a lot of diversity there. Usually when you think of "mall" you think of "fast times at ridgemont high mall", with nothing but teenagers there. That's not the case for the village. There are people of all ages going there to have fun. I noticed a lot of parents with their kids, a lot of teenagers, and a lot of middle schoolers whose parents dropped them off. Since there is a lot of underage kids there, that means their parents feel it is safe enough for them to walk around without parental supervision. The kids also know it is a really nice place and they have to behave themselves while they're in there. I also think it is a very family orientated place as well. There are Candy stores, restaurants, and they even have a jungle gym for the kids to play on. It's a place where everyone in the family can go to have fun. This mall truly stands out of all the other malls in Arizona. San Tan Village has a plentiful amount of stores to choose from as well. It seems like they have three of every type of store there. Whether it be a Jewelry store, clothing store, sports store, or even a restaurant, you have lots to choose from. One store that is pretty popular is the "Buckle". I really like the Buckle because the employees there work off of commission, so they have to sell a quota of clothes and will be very willing and persistent helping you pick out what you need. Its clothes are a little expensive but they are high class modern mixed. Another store that is similar to the Buckle, is called "American Eagle". American Eagle isn't as upscale as the Buckle, but it certainly isn't that far behind. The service at American Eagle is really good, and they have a lot of products for you to choose from. Another clothing store San Tan village has is called "Aeropostal". Aeropostal isn't as nice as the other two clothing stores, but it isn't bad. It is more for middle school, high school kids. Since the village has multiple stores to choose from, if one store doesn't have what you're looking for another might. The village holds a few restaurants on it, and if it doesn't have the one you were looking for, there are a few close by. That is probably one of the best things about the village, its location. Its located right off of the freeway, so there are a lot of other shopping centers and restaurants around the village. Shoppers could realistically go to the village to get something and know they won't have to drive very far to another close by store to get what they were looking for. Overall the village is a really nice establishment, and I know I personally will continue to be a loyal customer to them. That is at least till it gets run down, or shuts down, which probably won't happen any time soon.

This review is for the shoe department and salesperson Roselia…read more I have wanted to buy a pair of Birkenstocks for quite a while, but every time I tried them on in the past, they felt so uncomfortable that I couldn't understand what all the hype was about. Today, Roselia completely changed my mind. As soon as she looked at my feet, she noticed how narrow they are and explained that the sandals simply needed to be adjusted properly. She took the time to carefully adjust every strap until they fit exactly as they should. The difference was incredible. Once everything was adjusted, they were as comfortable as everyone says they are. I ended up purchasing my first pair of Birkenstocks, and thanks to Roselia, I know they won't be my last. Roselia never made me feel rushed and genuinely wanted to make sure I found the right fit. She is knowledgeable, patient, and attentive--exactly the kind of employee every retailer hopes to have. Thank you for taking the time to help me have such a great first Birkenstock experience!

This Ross did not have the specific items I was looking for, however, they did have lots of seasonal decor. This Ross was also pretty clean and organized compared to some of the other Ross stores I have been in lately. This Ross also seemed to have a ton of product available. The cashiers seemed helpful enough, so I don't particularly want to say anything bad about them if they truly have no authority to by-pass bad policies. If powerless, then they are just as I am with only an ability to express an opinion to the wind. No shade at all on the good people just trying to do their job under bad policies. If they did have authority to help, but didn't, then they do own some responsibility. It's so upsetting when a store deliberately has the people who have no authority interact with the people. It leaves the employees with no authority to successfully manage a really bad, low-class return policy which is what triggered my bad experience. Since I didn't have a receipt on me, but my item still had the store tag attached, I expected a store credit for my return which was fine because I had new items in my cart (about $100) and was intending to apply the credit to the new items. However, they informed me that the item had been discounted from $16-ish to about $11-ish within the last 30 days and could only reimburse store credit at the lesser amount. I was flabbergasted and asked for a manager who asked for other managers but all them responded with pleasant (not believable) apologies and some form of: "Too bad for you, that's store policy". Which is always not helpful in customer service situations. I looked at them and tried to apply logic which is also not helpful in stores with bad policies. "Really? For $5-ish dollars you are going to lose out on a cartful of purchases and a lifelong customer?" They responded with: "It's store policy". I wasted everyone's time by explaining that this is unethical behavior on the store's part because they intentionally discount after 30 days and at the same time don't honor store tags after 30 days. Nobody cared. In the end, I got my $11 on store credit for a store I no longer wanted to patron. I took out 2 items from the cart that were closest to the $11 which ended up being around $16. The amount I was supposed to have been reimbursed. So I paid the extra $5 difference which should have been reimbursed, not charged, just to not waste the $11 store credit. Now that I have items with a receipt, perhaps I should return the items for cash. This way I can get the $11 cash they wouldn't give me today. I'll look at them and say, "it's policy". Hehe. The people in charge of the policy and the bad customer experience don't care and won't ever be held accountable. (I'm not looking for suffering just someone to take responsibility!). The good people at the counter had to listen to an upset customer that never should have been upset and might even be 'corrected' and 'advised' when it's the policy makers that need a review. But nothing will likely happen anywhere and I had to hand over my driver's license to receive an $11 credit so now a bunch of strangers who had to listen to my bad customer service rant have my personal information. I left feeling so miserable, fearful and despondent. In hindsight, I wish I had taken back my item to return on different day with different people - now that I fully understood my losses. What an unnecessary miserable experience over $5. :-( I would like to know if this is nationwide or a local issue, but otherwise, I don't want to spend anymore energy or money on Ross. I'll be looking for other places to buy cheap, garbage clothing. With in-person return policies this bad, I may as well take my chances with places like Shein. I walked away thinking, maybe we should all start sewing again instead of dealing with all these low-class clothing stores, their bad policies and their intentionally powerless service personnel... LOL. Hopefully, my bad experience will save you from similar.
