I went in to pick up a prescription and I was told if I sit in the store in a chair I could get it in 45 minutes or come back in 2 hours to have it filled. I didn't feel like coughing all over other customers for 45 minutes so I left and came back 3 hours later. When I came back 3 hours later I was told again that I had timo come inside and wait another 45 minutes or come back in 2 hours. I don't mind that prescriptions take a minute, I have never been told that it would be faster if I waited in store. I had laryngitis and a lower respiratory infection. When I complained she got both of my meds in about 30 seconds. Asking visibly sick customers to sit inside and they can't leave is insane. read more

The girl working the pharmacy window on 6/6 in the AM needs to go immediately. Incompetence at its finest. Way too slow moving for the line of work she's in. Slow to greet, slow to grab prescriptions, slow to verify information. In her own little world and ready to fight any customer that's just trying to get their prescription and move on. You'd think she was trying her absolute best NOT to give me my prescription today by "something" always needing verified or going wrong. The prescription was put in by my provider and I handed you the money, just give me the prescriptions you're holding in your hand!! But alas something else needed done so no, had to make a call to the provider (the one who ordered it-shocking) I had to park and drag my two under two in just to sit in line (again!!) for another 20 minutes and get the "all good" and pay inside. Mishandling of prescriptions and not ready when promised. Undertrained employees left to try to figure out how to get life saving prescriptions processed. Central processing has given me someone else's drugs in a bag with my name on it. Change the amount they charge almost every time we pickup regular prescriptions. if I could give this Walgreens pharmacy a 0 star, I would. every single time I have gone there for my grandma prescription, I am there for at least 15 minutes, if not longer. Whether its drive thru or walk in, doesn't matter. There is always workers off to the side talking. Today I went thru the drive they're. I pulled in at 4:03 with 6 cars in front of me. 3 in my line, 3 next to me. I did not pull out until 4:49. I had to tell the lady my grandma's name three different times and then spell it out for her to which she replied 'I don't have anything here for someone with that name.' I replied that we have a text confirming there is in fact a prescription there for her, to which she replied 'oh for ----?' yeah I have one for her. and then took her over five minutes to grab that one bottle. The Walgreens on Bella Vista and Hunt highway in San Tan Valley is where I vent This is where I went to get to add more money on my cash up card. This is the first time I've used my cash card in that way. I proceeded to do some errands and then tried to order groceries online for my mother and found out the card was empty so I go back inside Wallgreens to explain to the cashier named, Lawrence & he said "Unfortunately there's nothing I can do for you." This does not make sense because when the card was swiped it beeped and I was given the receipt & left. When I tried to ordered groceries online for my mom and found out the card was empty & I had nothing in return. It doesn't make sense because the card was swiped & beeped.& I took the receipt and left. When I ordered I groceries the card was empty. Overwhelmed by my mother being hungry and being frustrated and sad and just all kinds of you Sad made it worse!!! Frustrated I go back to Walgreens and ask for a refund, or store credit, & even tried to get my $ back & try again again. I basically got robbed !!! I pay him $60 for nothing I was angry and left the store. I talked to the Walgreens manager and he wasn't willing to help either. Basically I felt robbed!!! Then went in the back and talked loudly about me. The girl in the drive through turned around to have have her coworkers back and let me know "We're not worried about you". After driving for four days, my husband's elbow was hurting. We went to a walk in clinic and he was prescribed an anti-inflammatory. We went to Walgreens and told it would be 2-3 hours till pickup. We went grocery shopping. An hour later, we went back. I was told that it would be another hour. I said that my husband was in a lot of pain. TRAVIS said that he would see what he could do. I have used Walgreens for over 20 years, but this location is by far the worst among two states and various cities. I get that they are closing stores based on business reasons, but they should consider reviews and store ratings first, as this location would be the first to close. I have never seen anyone smile at this location, and on the phone, they always seem agitated when you call in, and you have more issues. They seem to be understaffed for the amount of work they handle. Refills at this location are not worth using the store. In the past four months, I had to drive to Coolidge, West Mesa, East Mesa, and Apache Junction to fill my prescriptions. That's over 200 miles of personal gas because this location can't fill medications. This month, my provider changed my medication, so I used the refill option on the app. It went through, and although I asked for a two-day turnaround, it wasn't ready. I called and was told the app won't refill certain medications. Then WHY HAVE THAT OPTION? The girl then said she could have it ready; it was processed, and she was told it went through. We had a bad rainstorm late that night, so I gave another 24 hours. Then, I get a saying that the pharmacist chose to review. Why? An ex-pharm tech told me this is code for 'they don't want to fill it,' so they put that notice to avoid filling the script when they are busy. So, I called and got a customer service desk, who will offer to transfer you to a central dispensary (NOT YOUR STORE), and that number ALWAYS disconnects within 30 seconds. I had to call back and ask to be transferred to the store. I got through after waiting 13 minutes on hold and was told that during the time the girl processed my prescription, two more people came in, and they gave my medication to them. I waited four days. Now, it's six days later, and I still have no updates. I had to leave town, so I had to use my old medication, which I wasn't supposed to do. The only way to get service is to call corporate, file complaints, and then hope someone calls back. Even then, they always have some lame excuse. Over 20 years, I've never had this many issues with a location. I say close this store or bring in management who actually cares about patients and their prescriptions. read more

This is the worst pharmacy experience I have ever had to deal with my husbands foot is crushed in construction work accident, his foot is smashed and blew out his toes when a 8000lb box came down on machine and foot. He has had to go through debarring of the area twice without medication because these people want to play games. First time I called at 4:00 pm to ensure they had script from Dr, they said sure come on down in 45 min, I get there at 505 (dr office is now closed) to be told they can't fill the script because of Dr error. This is supposed to be a cash pay and they won't let us!!!!! Wait all weekend with pics attached a foot that looks like this with no help or pain meds that were prescribed. Call dr and it was not an error on their part, Walgreens didn't want to fill the script!!!! Forward next debarring visit and they call in pills to be filled after cutting away for an hour. Guess what Walgreens won't fill the script saying that it is written for brand name only. Ok so every pharmacy I have used Walmart will call and authorize without a question. Again we have hour and 20 min drive from Phoenix to see dr. And it is 510 so no ability to get it changed. Call the dr Monday to get fixed and the dr says oh the script was written for either!!!!! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY DO NOT CARE ANOUT THE WEEL BEINF OF PATIENTS AND DO EVERYTHING NOT TO HELP!!!! Allows people to be in so much pain they actually pass out and lose consciousness. Now the cherry topper is they have misplaced my son's medication! Mind it I ordered it 2 days again and received the notification it was ready later that day. How do you misplace prescriptions!?!? You have a system to file them according to last name. How can you not find it under that OR his first name!?!? I went in to this location to send an envelope thru FedEx and due to the heat in my car the adhesive on the shipping label was loose. I didn't see an issue with asking for a piece of tape and when I asked if they could just place a small piece of tape on my sticker, the reply was "we don't have any tape, go into the store and buy some." I know it was stretching their budget for a piece of tape, but they wouldn't budge. Now THATS great customer service, right? NOT. The service has gone down hill the last year beyond belief. for the last 6 months there have been problems every month. all Walgreens can say is "We are sorry". I have 2 prescriptions that they do not stock. Two days ago I got an automated call as a reminder to fill a prescription. After going through the prompts I was told I could pick my prescription up after 11:00 the next day. I arrive the next day and stand in line for 37 minutes (I timed it) The woman at the counter says "hmmmm" about 15 times with a concerned look on her face. "Looks like your prescription is old and we need a call from your Dr." lol??? WTF?? This last time I was going to be out of state for a month, called my doctor & the pharmacy to get them filled, but they didn't. It was filled two days after I was gone. This is by far the worst pharmacy in AZ. I am on day three of not being able to pick up my medication needed for an infection due to staff error. Day 1 I come in and they say they have yet to get a prescription from my doctor. I go home call the doctor and he confirms it was sent to this pharmacy. I go back and it is closed. Day 2 I go to pharmacy when I am off work, 5pm, and they tell me the same thing as the day before. I told them I confirmed with my doctor that it was sent here and then they told me they see it, but that there is now a hold on it for two weeks from my insurance. I leave and call my doctor back and he confirms this is the pharmacy's error and has nothing to do with insurance. I go back to the pharmacy and ask to speak to a manager. The "manager" is very rude and tells me I cannot get the medication because insurance would not be applied due to a hold still, so it would be full price. I asked too just pay the full price then without insurance, since I need the medication for the infection and she said it was too late... it was 5:30 and they close at 6pm. I ask when I will be able to pick up the prescription that was sent and she tells me in the morning, right after she had said there was an insurance hold!? I asked her how that made sense and she told me she could not help me any longer and that it would be available in the morning! I come back today to pick it up and they said it won't be available until after 4pm... This place is a joke, go elsewhere if you actually want your proscriptions. read more

Every time for the past year I use the Walgreens app to refill my prescriptions. Every time I do there's a screwup. I get texts/emails saying they need to contact my Dr when there's plenty of refills available. This causes me to call the pharmacy to unscrew it. My time is money. On top of that, in the winter months it never fails I get behind a snowbird in line that thinks this is their personal physician and holds up the line asking irrelevant questions. Took me calling my insurance company to them calling the pharmacy to in turn the person realizing it was incorrect. We kept getting notifications about my prescriptions ready and when I would show up it was not in fact ready.
