The workers seem friendly and point me in the right direction when I'm looking for something specific. One person actually gave me suggestions on different products to use. Since when did they start locking up toothbrush heads? After three sales associates inter-coming for help - nothing. 30 minutes passed and no one was able to open the case, but they have millions of cashiers at the register doing nothing. Ridiculous! read more

I stop into this Walmart from time to time to pick up supplies for home but mostly for work. There is also a Batteries Plus Bulbs and Best Buy conveniently located in the same lot which allows me to knock out several other tasks while I'm here. This store is much cleaner and less congested with people than the Super Walmart on 17/92, so that is a bonus. Most recently we stopped in to pick up a bunch of grub for a cookout with my team and our vendors. We picked up 6 packs of Brats, two large packs of Nathan hot dogs, 8 lbs of 80/20 ground beef, three packs of cheese, two gallons of tea, one large container of potato salad and macaroni salad, Lettuce, tomato, onion, all the necessary condiments, Buns, and dessert which fed 17 people and we still had leftovers all for about $147.00; not bad at all. We would have paid near double that price if we shopped at Publix. This staff does a great job at keeping items in stock and are always friendly and helpful. If you're looking for an alternative to the 17/92 location then this is it. read more

Omg. Omg omg. I'm so pissed off right now. We are forced to do self check out AND THEN they have a super sped up video of my husband literally scanning a gallon of milk and it flags an associate. Just do a different dong and let us rescan it. And to be treated like a thief when we LITERALLY come back in a pay for something if we see it didn't come up on the receipt...and the number of times we have double scanned and we have to suck it cuz we can't prove it...cuz they don't review the video footage of it and they say "well maybe you put it in the car already...come out to the car and check. Time stamp shows it is not even remotely possible to go hide $3 at home when 2 minutes have gone by and it's not even enough time to get back to the car!!! Omg. And without even leaving the store!!! But we can scan something and take it off even after it's bagged and that's fine??? What??? The associate was literally right there when this happened but she still looked at us like we did something wrong. I am pissed that I'm doing someone else's job AND when it doesn't scan it doesn't give a chance to rescan. It's not hard to do a different tone!! Or do the same error message but give us a chance to rescan. Walmart is criminal anyways. Omg 3 tomatoes costing $10? Yeah we took those off and you didn't have a problem and we already bagged them. But that's why the associate was there, because WE called her over to take them back. I stopped by this Walmart yesterday morning to pick up some snacks for my toddler and change his diaper. Walmart is a big corporation, and they sometimes get a bad rap, but my experience at this store was one of my best shopping experiences. The whole store was clean and well-stocked. Even the parking lot was clean. The bathroom had a nice, functional baby changing table. I spoke to one staff member to ask where an item was, and she was able to point me to it. I spoke to another staff member in the baby department, and we had a very pleasant conversation. It was an all-around great experience. Using the checkout was quick and easy. I do not live near the Sanford Walmart Supercenter, but if I did, I would definitely shop here regularly. Rating from F to A+++, I give it an A+++! read more

This is for the auto center more so than the grocery store as a whole. Let me preface this with just get the roadside hazards on your tires. I was not explained to what they were for and had no idea that nothing would get covered after only having the tires for 2 weeks. The service is a bit harsh the first time I went it took 3 hours with a 7am appointment to get my tires done. The second time I went they stopped taking tires at 1pm and the following day everyone but one person called out. There is definitely a staffing issue at this auto department that needs to be fixed. I had to pay almost $150 for a new tire 2 weeks after purchasing four new tires. The fact that its just as hard to get in whether you have an appointment or not is disappointing. read more

I place an online order to be delivered to my home and half of the stuff that was picked was tiny or not good. The delivery person completely ignored my instructions. BUT the thing that sent me over the top was the fact that all my eggs were broken and the delivery person tried to open up my trunk!! I caught it all on camera. I tried to call the store so they could be made aware that they have thieves working for them and and the phone ring and no one ever picked up. I used to really hate Walmart but this year changed my mind. My dog needs insulin for his diabetes, well Walmart has ReliOn insulin in N for $25. My need for this less expensive option had me look around the store. They have really good grocery items and brands. I have saved quite a bit of money on staple items and even using Walmart plus for delivery. If you need insulin this is the place, get there early during the week to avoid the crazy crowds. The Pharmacy staff will help with insulin. read more

There are two WMSCs in Sanford, this is probably the better of the two. First of all it's a lot bigger. So it obviously has a bigger selection of stuff. This one has a garden section and I think an automotive section. I also like that they have the health and beauty stuff close to the grocery section instead of way over by the pharmacy (unlike the store on 17/92). This store is busier, though, because it's located in the Seminole Town Center where every other retail chain in the world is located. Can be a pain trying to find decent parking here. Trying to get in and out of the parking lot can also be a challenge. There's also a McDonald's inside, which is always nice. This store seems to be a little cleaner and more well-lit than the other store. read more

When you can see the curvature of the Earth at work as you look over from Subway to the Tire & Lube, it's a very large Walmart. Brightly lit, plenty of space, and looking pretty clean. This shop is laid out like most, with a bigger than average grocery section at one side that also takes up a couple of aisles along the back for more dry goods. In the center, the softlines of clothing take up space. Pets, housewares, toys, sporting goods and yep, there's what I want in the back: electronics. It seems that someone broke his USB cable extender and needs a replacement. Prices clearly displayed and not expensive at all. I picked up an heir and a spare six-inch cable for $4.88 each. Hey, five bucks so that I can have a phone is a good deal. I used the self-checkout at the front to pay for my merchandise and I was on my way. read more

Auto Center- you can only make appointments for tire service. I went for an oil change, which ranges from $33-53 depending on the type of oil. When I pulled up, the man explained the different types of oil, where they come from and the benefits of them in the car. I was lucky and no cars were in front of me when I arrived. But it took them a lot longer to change my oil than what they said, so be prepared to kill A LOT OF TIME! read more

This place is always overcrowded and the checkout lines for the register are never enough to keep up with all the customers. It's ridiculous to wait 30 minutes just to purchase one item. One time I was at the self checkout lane and one of the employees accused me of stealing baby formula! In fact, it was a cooler bag with breastmilk in case my baby got hungry! This review is for the Walmart Grocery Pickup only!!! Walmart redeemed themselves for our household when they decided to offer this service! So awesome! I do not like grocery shopping and I do not like shopping inside the Walmart store for various reasons (terrible customer service, weird L & P people) so this option works perfect for me! From the convenience of shopping online while at home, I am able to select the necessary needed grocery items for my household. So convenient, so necessary and really, I can stay within budget! We were able to select the items within our budget and then select the date and time slot for pick up. You pay online using your debit or credit card and once you pick up your groceries, they send you a receipt via email. You will need to register and create a login and password! The website is super easy and user friendly! You may wonder where do we pick up these items? Just follow the Orange signs with the arrows marked "Pick up" on the day and time slot you selected. Walmart did a great job at placing these signs, very noticeable and very easy. Only if you were blind, you would have an issue. There will be marked parking spaces and then just call the number right on the sign to notify your arrival and they will meet you and load your groceries in the car for you! It only took less than 10 minutes!! I decided to write a review today because their customer service was awesome from Grocery pick up. I don't remember when I was treated so nicely from this Walmart but Katelyn (the representative that assisted me) was very nice, she introduced herself and explained everything to me. She showed me my produce and was very personable. I literally had to blink twice and look around to make sure I was at Walmart. We will take advantage of this option weekly! I equate most Wal-Marts to be soul sucking dementors fresh out of the Harry Potter series. I'll agree with Lisa - the store is spacious and well lit. I will disagree with clean and the lighting situation in the parking lot. During the early morning/late evening hours, it is very dark in the parking lot and its not exactly comfortable. This situation should be remedied - yet, it probably won't happen. On my last visit, only a few registers were open and we were stuck waiting in the checkout line for what appeared to be hours when it really was about 20 minutes. If I didn't have a cartful of much needed items, we would've left. Now for the part of my review that doesn't speak much about Walmart at all. I know that not all human beings have nice things to say about others, but, this is something that I just couldn't let go. My husband and I are standing in the checkout line, when this young girl in front of us, with her grandmother and younger brother in tow, began snapping pictures with her cell phone of a heavy-set female customer in front of her. It wasn't exactly, nonchalent, as she didn't even make the effort to hide what she was doing. I have never been more disgusted with humanity then I was during this visit. After the 20 minute wait in line and then to watch a young girl, snap pictures and post them onto Facebook. What a shame. read more

Have been waiting 30 minutes for a pick up order placed yesterday. I have been doing this for some time, and they just keep getting worse. Much worse. They seem unable to manage this part of the business with anything close to positive results. I do this as a favor for a religious organization and hate to complain, but if you cannot get people in and out in a timely manner, it's time to eliminate or revamp the process. At present there are 5 cars waiting and one guy going back and forth. Get some lessons from someone who can help. This is mostly a review for the Auto Care Center. Last night, my band had two of our van tires slashed by an individual who had a problem with us asking people not to smoke while we played (we do this around the world when needed, never had a problem, let alone someone intentionally blow smoke in our singer's face). I had our Sprinter towed to this giant Walmart, and waited until the Auto Care Center opened at 8a. The gentlemen that helped me were prompt, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. It was much needed after a long overnight ordeal involving police, tow trucks, and wasted bar patrons. We were about to drive to Ohio when this ordeal occurred, and thanks to the professionalism of Mickey and Les, we will be able to make our show on Monday in Cincinnati! This is, by far, the most amount of time I've ever spent at a Walmart, and I may have to give the Walmart grocery department a shot once I'm back home in California - the produce department looked fantastic. read more

The only reason this place got 1 star from me is because it's the lowest you can go to leave a review. This store refuses to return or even exchange an item with a receipt because they love to scam you. Not to mention that I'm tired of being treated like a criminal every time I attempt to shop here. I spend a minimum of $100 per week in this store and yet every week they stop me on my way out the door asking me for my receipt. Sanford FL store 03207 Walmart BIG thanks to Mr. Lewis, the front store Assistant Manager. I had been calling from 6am to 6:10am (the store opened at 6am) the day after XMAS and no one was answering the phones in the store or in the electronic department. However, I needed to speak with someone right away because I was minutes from the store with very little time. So I called the deli hoping someone would pick up, and they did, but i was told the people who normally answer the phones do not come in till 7am. THAT was disappointing. I needed to have some one meet me in the fabric dept (which is not manned normally or all the times) to measure over 6 yards of fabric. I am making Roman blinds(fabric blinds) and I had to have the exact fabric I purchased the night before the store closed Xmas Eve. I just could not think I had to wait till 7am when the store opened at 6am, so I kept calling. I asked to speak with a manager as my time was running out. A very nice customer service manager-said someone would be in the fabric dept when I arrived which was moments in. Well the right person was there for me when I arrived. Guess who was there with an employee waiting for me to enter the department? Mr. Lewis, the assistant front end manager and an employee. However what was impeccable was Mr. Lewis, stayed with me until he knew I was 100% taken care of and had everything I needed. The employee he brought with him was so pleasant too especially early in the morning and she knew her measurements and how to cut. She was good. Thank you for making what seem be a frustrating call in scenario to a fabulous walk-in scenario. This stores pickup and delivery is poorly run, plain and simple. If you put in an online order to pickup, plan on waiting 15-20 minutes for someone to bring you your groceries. This eliminates the whole point of spending the time to enter an order online to pickup and avoid having to go into the store. Because of these issues we decided to start paying for delivery. Since trying to do this we have had an issue with every single delivery. We have a new house and our address is not in every GPS app. For this reason we understand a little confusion. But instead of the driver calling us they just go out and then return the groceries to the store without ever contacting us most of the time. We have called Walmart and doorsash and left notes in the app to indicate where our house is and this continues to happen. Pickup and delivery are supposed to be tools that make shopping easier but this store fails at execution in both. It is a very disappointing process. read more

Not just this Walmart but all of them, it just so happens this is the one it happened to me at. I saw a product online on sale for $25 so I went in and they charged me a extra $15 for it going off a the same product on a list just not the cheapest one. It was new and not used or refurbished. They gave a non-sense reason and uttered the magic words: "It's company policy". No. What they did was bait and switch and it's a crime. Corporate refused to fix the issue because it's too much work to fix it I guess. read more

This Super Walmart is located on Rinehart Road in Sanford, FL less than 1/2 a mile from the 417. It's the large store with large seasonal offerings, outdoor/ammo, grocery and pharmacy sections. Store is spacious, clean and well lit. Staff has been helpful when needed. Huge parking lot, which is usually full. read more

It will be the third time going back to store for key cutting. The1st copy cut works great, once they cut the 2nd & 3rd copy of the same original key, it does not work. Either the machine is broke or it's human error because the employee is not taking out original and re-inserting back for each additional key. The company takes my money off my card granted we are only talking a couple dollars then I have to wait days for it to go back on. I called three times was on hold for 15mins each time asking for manager and no one picked up. I'm coming back up for another return, and going to either Home Depot or Lowes they know how to get it done. Only reason I went to your store because it is right up the street from where I'm at. Having used this store since 2004 it has been a love/hate relationship from the beginning. Being a few miles from my home it does serve the need of being super convenient but that can only go so far. Yes it can be trashy with folks who shop there and the staff can be pretty mindless, customer service isn't a high priority, but buying what you need for an inexpensive cost does have its positives. I pride myself of being in and out within 10-15mins. You just need to know when to go. With the new liquor store section that just recently opened it did suck up a lot of parking that was offered and that has made it more difficult then ever. Publix has recently become my store of choice but selection can be difficult as well. More on that review later. read more

With the exception of difference in prices from location to location, which I'm assuming has to do with the cost of living, I have found in my many travels that Walmart has more than proved itself in the way of going over and beyond in meeting the needs of it's consumers. Whether it's there prices, location or the wide variety of products they provide. However, I particularly like the Rinehart rd, Sanford, Fl. location due to it's spaciousness and product location. Often we enter stores that have the product but they are inconveniently located. Or sometimes the product is there however the store lacks the space to keep order. The rinehart rod location gets four stars in my book not only for it's spaciousness and product location but for it's cleanliness and excellent customer service. read more
