OFF THE BEATEN TRACK! This Walmart was actually nice for shopping because it is sort of off the beaten track and doesn't seem to have a great deal of foot traffic. When it comes to Walmart, quieter is better! Even though I do not purchase groceries at Walmart due to price and quality of produce, I do love the prices for non-food items. I also love the seasonal holiday gift products that they have available. These items are not stocked on a regular basis so if you see a fragrance gift set or special organizer, you might want to grab it because when its gone, it's gone. I was recently looking at a $40 carousel organizer for my make-up items and noticed that Walmart had one for $11. Hmmm? There were only two, and I have never noticed these before so I snatched one up! Customer service was great today with a minimal wait in line. read more

The poor associates are trying their best to get pick-up orders to cars, but it shouldn't take over an hour.... a 'ready for pickup' notification is sent.... it shouldn't be an hour once getting there.... I'm mean, it's ready. The reason is, the store only has one associate assigned to pickup orders.... we were even told that some employees (I swear we were told it was the supervisor) left for a break and never came back. NEVER CAME BACK?!? Don't even get me started on the 1800 number and the rude people there (who I called because no one was coming at pickup) and how they told me that my order was cancelled (they had gotten ahold of the store).... and that I would have to go inside and shop for the items (NOT GOING INSIDE! #COVID19).... however... here comes the poor pickup employee, WITH MY ORDER.... WHICH WAS CANCELLED. He had no idea what I was talking about. It was clearly not canceled. This store used to have it together.... even during the pandemic.... but something has changed in management and it HAS NOT changed for the better. read more

Walmart cashiers, thank you for your kind service but customers should not be told before checkout to "grab another buggy." There were no customers in line and cashier said I needed to get another buggy to assist her in loading the bags of groceries. I didn't understand until she told me the counter is too small to hold any items. I said could she please scan while I quickly run and grab a cart, she just stood behind her register and didn't bother to move. While getting the cart, I happen to also grab wet wipes as a pack of hamburger meat was dripping slightly and I had covered it using clear wraps that you store fruits and produce in. I asked if this store had a meat dept butcher as whomever wrapped the meat, it wasn't completely sealed. Cashier said no and she was in a hurry scanning that I heard an item beeped twice (I'm hearing impaired) and asked if she voided the item. She did but she rang it up AGAIN. I didn't catch the second charge until I got home and see on my receipt that I paid twice for the purchase. I noticed she had no name tag but she told me and spelled it for me when I asked. I was polite throughout and not any way upset however, it did bother me how times and attitude have changed since I worked as a Walmart employee. Walmart store manager, when I worked at Walmart as greeter and cashier, I NEVER made my customers do the work. Your cashiers are paid to provide customers proper customer service. We are using our time and gas to go to your store and at the end of checkout we are tired of walking miles in your store to buy essentials. If you don't want to be there, don't work there. I had a great experience at Suwanee Walmart last week. I ordered frames for my son's football team through walmart.com and needed to receive them in time for the game that night. When I arrived at Walmart, my box had arrived, but wouldn't be ready for pick up til later in the day. Fortunately, Justin walked over, told me he saw the pallet of items that had just been delivered, and would personally look for my box. It took him just 20 minutes, and he had the biggest smile on his face. So did I! She gave me great customer service because she offered to help me checkout at the front counter in the scan and go line. Best Walmart I have ever visited. Employees were easy to spot because they were wearing bright T-shirts with the Walmart symbol on them. There were plenty of them scattered around and every one I asked a question knew the answer and responded politely. Today when i went to walmart of course all the usual stuff happened. People in the middle of the aisle, lines to long blah blah. But one thing really stood out to me. I went to the self check out and the cashier came up to me and do you want to make a donation to some fund. Not we are taking donations if you are interested. She said if you have cash. I said i dont have cash. She said i can suspend this transation and take u to my drawer and give you cash back. Ewww i guess there was some reward if you get the most people to donate. This used to be one of the best Wal-mart stores in the area, not any more. This place is awful!!! 1. They refuse to hire people to check you out and make you stand in long long lines just to be able to give them money. It is crazy. This is not a one time issue or a holiday issue, this is a problem that has been on going ever since they put in self check out. 2. They have wal-mart employees running all over the store, getting in way of shoppers. They won't hire cashiers but will hire people to collect items for those who are too lazy to come into the store. 3. Wal-mart is unwilling to provide some one to speak with about your experience. I waited in line at customer service for 15 min, only one person ahead of me, and never did get anyone to speak with me. WALMART DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!! I have been a big fan of Walmart over the years and have always shopped their weekly. From now on, I will pay a premium to shop elsewhere and will avoid Walmart if at all possible. read more

What a rude man at the cash register today. Asked if I was going to get gift receipts w gift card purchases and he said in a very rude tone " you're supposed to tell us before you make the purchase now I have to void these out and ring them again". I was surprised that it was up to the customer to request the receipts. I've never had to at any other store where I purchased gift cards. Woman behind me in line said" not the best personality". what ever you do, don't use the dental service in the new clinic. they messed up my insurance info., my appointment, what they quoted on the website for pricing was different then i had to pay. the day of my last visit, they were running late, then when i got to the back they numbed my gums and told me they would be back in 3 to 5 min minutes later and they would only be able to do half of the work that i had scheduled because they were behind. i walked out 20+ minutes later after not seeing anyone. they called me 2 hours later to see if they could fix things, but immediately put me on hold for 10+ minutes. read more

I'm giving this Walmart a not-so-good review. I have been shopping here for over a year primarily because I moved to Suwanee April 2015. I've never seen a retail store out of so many products week after week! Their inventory is bleak compared to any other Walmart I've shopped at. I went to get a few things at the Suwanee Walmart, only one being a grocery item. Being new to this store, I asked three different employees the location of various items. Each time I got a intelligent answer and appropriate help. And at the end of the shopping visit I got checked out quickly! I walked out of the store with a smile! I don't know if I have ever done that coming out a Walmart before. I have had my share of terrible service at many Walmarts. I believe this was my best Walmart experience ever. This location's human resource department sucks ass! All I wanted to do was check on an application I've submitted. I couldn't get anyone on the phone. Worst part the Hr department close at 1:00 p.m, the worser part is no one is there to service between open and 1:00 p.m. Word of advise. Just went in there at 11:30pm to find they closed all self checkouts and only have two registers open with twenty people in each line and about fifteen employees walking around aimlessly doing absolutely nothing but socializing with each other. This review is for the grocery pick up that's new just in case someone was beating doing it. First someone called me and said they were running late even though I ordered 24 hours in advance, she said she'd call me when it's ready but she never called me. Then I waited over ten minutes for them to come out even though I checked in before leaving home, then I was missing two items and was still charged for them. I really think this was a corporate idea and the stores don't wanna do it they are already overwhelmed and busy So doing it half assed will make people not want to do it and maybe corporate will cancel it eventually, that's what I think. If I could give less than one star I would. Let me explain what happens when you get paid hourly but customers come last. Tonight June 5 I had the most amazing introduction to miss "Kay" who never works in electronics. I came in looking for a specific movie, walked up and down every isle in the movie section and was unable to find the movie I was looking for. I wave at Kay and she continues to put products back on the shelf instead of wanting to help a customer. I walk up to her and ask for assistance finding my movie. She says that's not her department, I ask if anyone can help and she says no one works in the movie department. Well, yesterday I was at the Walmart down the street and the associate was extremely helpful and looked they every movie isle to try to find the movie. I searched in on my phone and found the sku number and approached her again and asked if she would be able to find it that way, she told me that it wasn't her section or her job to work in the movie section and continued to put away other products. Thank you Kay, I will order it online and hopefully you will be the lucky one to search for it thru ever isle when I pick it up tomorrow. read more

I have been a customer of this Walmart for over 20 years.... it has been going downhill and now I'm just ready to go elsewhere after all this time. A lot of the things I use to buy there they don't have any more and if you ask anyone who works there, they are clueless. They don't have the one per day Fish Oil capsules, the Cozy Shack flan, Fantastic spray cleaner, potatoes O'Brien..... all these until not too long ago I bought there...and the section where the milk is is awful..... you need to look carefully at the date because I've seen outdated milk several times.... and usually I have to get someone to go in the back to get the 1% milk I need..... otherwise, I have to leave without it.... I'm not sure what they do in the back but it's not putting out fresh milk. read more

Horrible customer service, no one answers the phones. After continuing to call I then get transferred 3 times and the person said she was just the operator I then asked for a manager. It took about 7 minutes before the manager came on the phone after I had already been on the phone over 20 minutes trying to speak to a human, I explained to the manager I ordered a table that was supposed to be in last Friday for a weekend party I was having and it did not come in, therefore I will not be coming to pick it up and would like a refund. She then said I had to come in for a refund to verify who I am. I told her you can simply ask me for information I gave on the paperwork, who was picking it up and my credit card number but she said no I would have to come in. Poor customer service! It's rare I ever shop there but needed the table and they had it coming in last Friday, but was delayed. Walmart needs better management, but I won't ever be ordering from them again. read more

Also I read a review that they have bad customer service at this specific location and I couldn't disagree more. Ran into Walmart for an ink cartridge real quick. I was gonna check out in the back but decided it would be faster to check out up front. What I got I wasn't expecting. I got suspect racial service, the lady in line in front of me was white and the cashier greeted her and asked if she found everything she needed then thanked her for shopping at Walmart. Then it was my turn she didn't speak to me until the end of the transaction and mumbled thank you as she put my cash back in my hand. I was still at the counter putting my cash in my wallet when she started ringing up the women behind me; that customer got a welcome to Walmart spill with a smile. I was insulted and spoke to the manager. I understand everyone needs to work some type of job to support themselves but how long will you stay employed if you are intolerant to other ethic groups. I despise that type of stupidity everyone is equal and color doesn't change that fact. I will no longer shop at that Walmart as long as they allow people like that to be customer facing. read more
