I'm glad they built this new location nearby me, in the last year. Its much more convenient for me than the location in Garfield. This complex is shared with Costco and is located next to Teterboro Airport. Its right off of 46 east in Teterboro. The parking lot can get packed sometimes, but mostly it isn't too difficult to find parking, since the lot is quite large. The selection here is on the smaller side of a supercenter store. They don't have all the things that the nearby Garfield store has in stock, as often. But since the store is pretty new, its cleaner, at least for now. As with most Walmarts, this location is no different. Its one stop shopping, with rock bottom pricing. They have a grocery store section and an everything else section. As a note the everything else section, with some item exceptions, is roped off on Sundays, due to Bergen County blue laws. read more

Do not EVER bother calling this place to speak to a department.. unless you want to waste time. It's easier to just drive there and figure out the answer yourself. My first experience was trying to get the photo department on the phone about 2 months ago. I had to call back 3 different times in the course of a half an hour because I was just put on hold. I was then told the 4th time that they don't know where they are. I just attempted to call the Garden Center. Twenty minutes on hold the first attempt so I called back and was on hold for 10 minutes then I was hung up on. Grrr. read more

I go to this walmart every saturday. (Teterbore, nj) My experience going through the self-check out was good at first. As i was scanning my items through, a walmart employee struck up some small talk with me. As i paid my bill and took my receipt, i was stopped at the exit and was told to bring my cart into this room with numerous people and surveillance tv's. My bill was $128.00 and when they finished going threw my cart they said i missed two items. The total of the two items came out to $6.00. They accused me of stealing and suspended me for the day of shopping at that walmart. Also took a copy of my license. I don't know why the scanning machine didn't alert me that i missed two items. whatever! Accusing me of stealing $6.00 and suspending me is Bullshit. I watch on the news and social media of people walking out with thousands of dollars of products that they are stealing and no one does anything but you come after a blue collar guy that shops at your store every Saturday and pays. Walmart owes me an apology. Why don't they go after the real crooks, why do you have an attendant at the self checkout, obviously he's not doing his job. Not a happy customer! read more

I will never be buying body jewelry from here again. I came to get nose rings and purchased a few without realizing that a few of the studs were missing from the box - meaning that someone had opened the box, taken a few for themselves, and closed the box back up again. I tried to bring the box in the next day to exchange, explaining to customer service that someone had opened the box prior to me purchasing them and stolen a few for themselves. I was told that I couldn't because body jewelry is not returnable or exchangeable. This is something I would have appreciated being told as I was buying these from the jewelry counter. Bottom line, if you do decide to be daring and buy body jewelry from this location, make sure you inspect the boxes carefully - the staff sure doesn't. read more

Ok Walmart- went in twice since that nightmare and was in and out very quickly each time. So you're back in my good graces. OMG what a nightmare. Went in last night for a couple of things. The express self checkout was halfway to the back of the store so I went on the moderate lane. I'm not kidding- I waited there 20 minutes before the line even started moving again. The other lines didn't look much better, which is why I didn't move. Turns out some guy had like 10 WIC checks. I know Walmart is notorious for slow checkouts but this took the cake. Wasn't totally the cashier's fault which is why I'm giving two stars. She actually was very apologetic. But seriously I was hungry by the end that I ended up buying a sandwich at the Subway in store. This place still smells like fresh paint. It seems cleaner and more organized than any other walmarts in the area. I'm giving it 3 starts because I needed assistance with locating an item... unfortunately every employee I tried speaking to had ear pieces on and either ignored(?) me or told me that they are from a different department and have no clue. With this one being opened, I'm not sure if Walmart is still making money from the Saddle Brook and Garfield ones. Teterboro is twice the distance of Saddle Brook&Garfield from my home&work, but if I have to get something from a Walmart, I would a thousand times rather come to Teterboro Walmart! The store is very clean and looks well-maintained. This is definitely a one-stop shopping spot since this is a Super store that also have groceries and produce section and a pharmacy. Very accessible on route 46, I think there are even NJT buses that stop in front of it too read more

**Update** Customer DISservice** 7/16/16 Went to self checkout with a pink super hero dress up cape, when scanning it said "unrecognized item" Walmart employee comes over and we explain what's going on. She tries to scan the cape 5 more times like we did. We're looking at her like ?? Walmart employee tells us that we are going to have to pay for this item separately (we had other items to ring up) at another register not at self check out. When we ask why, she explains "because I don't know how much this is, nobody knows how much this is, and you need to go find out the price.." We tell her "no, you need to go find out the price because we want to buy it and no, we aren't getting on another LONG line". She disappears for over 5min. (We told her where to find it) Comes back. Says "I looked all over in the toy dept and a toy employee (which is where item is from) told me to go look for the child's toy cape in the cosmetic dept" and I couldn't find it there either". We walk her back and find it within 1min. Now self check out line has 8 people waiting. I can't believe this unprofessional level of employee customer service is acceptable to management. face palm.. read more

This is not my go to Walmart, I prefer the one in Secaucus NJ. It seems much smaller to me as well, this may be in head, lol I find this Walmart to be "out" of items a lot. I am not sure if this is a 24 hour locations, but more often than not when I have visited this store items are not there. I do like that for the items I purchase when they are there, I seem to see more rollbacks on pricing than the Secaucus store. And this store is clean, if there is a spill there is literally and employee on the floor with a mop taking care of it. read more

Nice new place! The employees are very welcoming. And i'm thrilled it's close by to my workplace. Parking is very ample, the selection of merchandise is fresh, and I anticipate that this will continue because this is a brand-new store. I'm also thrilled to see it's going to be a prescription drive-through is well. The store looks larger than any other Walmart I've ever been to. It's been a year moving back up to NJ, and I'm kind of frustated with not being able to save money and time. Back at home, I used to be the Queen of coupon clipping and price matching. Sadly, I can't continue my reign up here. NO cashier here is competent to do price match. And when they eventually figure it out when the manager comes, they don't know how to do math. I gave up price matching with local competitor ads because I end up paying more for the produce. *sigh* Also, walmart prices are never cheap, so please continue shopping at shoprite, hmart, or wherever. Long lines at cash registers because few stations are open. I mostly do self-checkout because I work faster than the employees here. The parking lot is always packed. I don't think I've ever seen it empty. Early morning, mid afternoon, late at night. What do ya'll Jersyans do, haha? On Sundays, there are parts of the store fenced off to "restock". Not familiar with this practice. All in all, I walk out of walmart cheated and defeated and look over to costo next door wishing I had a membership there. read more

It's honestly the worst Walmart I never been. If I could give zero star I would. First of all many of their staff are out of stock. And this store is extremely chaotic. After finishing shopping I realized that I need exchange for more quarters, so I went to the consumer center and asked the stuff around it if I can exchange. That stuff told me sure I can. So I took a long line. But when it was my turn, the another stuff told me they don't do exchange. I got very confused so I told her your stuff told me I can that's why I'm here. She asked me like: "who told you that?" I was trying to point out the stuff but I got stopped by the other stuff. It was such a joke and such a waste of time. This is the Walmart I frequent the most, and every time I go there, I'm disappointed in some way. Things I go there for aren't on the shelves, and a week later, they're still empty. I end up buying elsewhere. Shelves aren't monitored for restocking. Went there last week to get a hose shut off extention; none in the little boxed section. Went back today, and it's filled with random hose thingies, not one of what I'm looking for. Fruit flies on the fruits and veggies; be careful. Not enough organic. Well stocked though. Open 24 hrs, but shop at your own risk on a late Friday or late Saturday nights, say, after 11pm. Thought this would be a good time to shop; sorely mistaken. Maybe 1 or 2 registers open if you're lucky. Otherwise plan on standing on one of the 2 very long self checkout lines. You would think that if the store is that busy on off hours, they would accommodate the crowds and staff some registers. Nope. Tried these odd times months apart. Nothing changes. One would think that with the blue laws in place, which I fully support, it would be quieter to shop on a Sunday morning. Wrong; just as crazy. I have better luck at the North Bergen store. Normally I can get everything on my list in NB, most of the time. Maybe half at Teterboro. I will be shopping NB from now on. Plus, it's half the sales tax... read more

There's good reason why, as of this writing, this Walmart has just one-and-a-half stars. We recently visited, and this location looked like a post-hurricane apocalypse, or the aftermath of a major earthquake, where people are desperate for things like water, batteries and other essentials. There was no natural disaster or other emergency, yet shoppers were waiting in lines that were 25 or 30 people deep at every one of the few checkouts that open. Seriously, the queues reached halfway to the back and side of the store. Insane ! We walked out without buying anything. We simply don't understand why shoppers will put up with this. read more

I don't usually slam business or employees, especially during a time like this (COVD19). I understand the difficulties & new logistics to be considered. That's why I try to avoid most lines & crowds by continuing to show up early. I can't believe this happened at 7:15 am, but it did: I arrived at 6 am & waited the hour since this store is not open 24 hours during this pandemic. I waited on the crazy long line and, after waiting over an hour and still not in the store, some of the Walmart employees then announce they will start another line by the pharmacy door, and proceeded to round up a group of people FROM THE END OF THE LINE, PEOPLE WHO JUST SHOWED UP and took their appropriate place in the ONE LINE that was formed, and directed them to the pharmacy entrance, and proceeded to ALLOW THE LATECOMERS TO ENTER THE STORE BEFORE THOSE OF US WHO WERE WAITING AT LEAST AN HOUR were made to continue to wait. Some us spoke up. The gentleman in front of me was very angry and vocal with legitimate reason. The young man who led the late-comer line was apologetic and tried to explain why that was done, and that they tried to be "fair" by taking folks from the "middle" of the line. Pull eeze!!!!! We all watched those people show up last since they all had to walk past us to get to the end of the line. They were NOT in the middle. If you were sincere in that comment you would have taken those of us who were closest to the front so we could enter the other door. That did NOT happen. Because that employee did a good job trying to de-escalate, the situation was about to end until the female employee who was also corralling late comers announces to those of us who were unhappy "You all CHOSE to wait on this line. There are two lines & you chose to stay here". Excuse me you little C U next Tuesday, none of us chose this shitty situation. If there were two lines there should be SIGNS or employees telling us who are waiting there is another entrance available. None of that happened. Your bitchy attitude is inexcusable. Guess what wasn't available when I finally entered? Yep, paper products & Lysol wipes. I was somewhat displeased with my visit here yesterday. It was a rainy day and I had my 1 year old niece with me . Her mother had forgotten to pack a jacket so we went here to pick her up one. We got to the toddler section, and they had absolutely no type of jackets what so ever and a limited toddler clothing section. Then we walked around and there was this one employee who was walking around playing their music loudly on these tiny speakers attached to them. This store is ALWAYS consistently busy but like every Walmart they do not ever have enough registers open. Out of 18 standard registers, 6 were open. Worst shopping experience. Tried to buy one pair of Large sized knit boxers, and that simple tasks was met with tremendous resistance. The aisle was in disarray, completely disorganized and half the packages had been ripped open. And even the items I could find that were still sealed were only in XL, 2XL and 3XL. I was super excited to hear that Super Walmart will be opening a store in the town of Teterboro NJ. Since the grand opening I have been shopping there every week I have a family of 7 so my monthly spending for close to $1,000 a month. My complaint goes to the stuff at deli section, every time I go to order cold cuts I get an attitude and dirty looks I never get a welcome to Walmart. I think Walmart training team should train their stuff better you have lost a customer that spends $1,000 a month too bad. read more

This store gets a couple of stars for their price slashing deals and courteous employees . That's it. Agree it's a nightmare but it is open long hours. If you know what you want 8 am is best time to get in and out if you can. Layout and supplies is better than North Bergen store. However the NB store had about 15 self check outs and Teteboro had about 8 if that. Pharmacy costs are good at Walmart as is Vision supplies. Costco has best prices on certain contacts and non prescription medications. No membership necessary. Even with prescriptions anywhere. you should ask what the cost is without the copay because sometimes it's less at Walmart! read more

Brand new store. Nice and clean. Unfortunately, the way this place is run is horrible. First off, good luck finding someone that speaks English in the event that you need help. I'd guess that 1 out of every 5 people speaks good enough english to answer your question without having to call someone else over to help. Then there are the checkout lines. The lines are always long and there are only 2 to 3 lines open. Meanwhile, you see numerous employees standing around, apparently doing nothing. I don't know what the managers do, but they definitely don't manage their employees efficiently. It's really sad. read more

I honestly like this Walmart location. It's huge, it's open 24 hours and it's part of a big strip mall that includes Panera Bread, Blaze Pizza, Chick-Fil-a, Costco, and I think even a CityMD. There's always plenty of parking. Even though Walmart is always busy and the lines can be super long, the associates are always helpful whenever I need assistance, which I appreciate. I don't think the other locations around me can compare. I will continue to come here. read more

I don't have an issue with Walmart itself. It's the awful employees and the horrible customer service. With the exception of two that I've encountered over the past few years, everyone one else I've crossed paths with have been extremely rude, information less and very unprofessional. Yelling across the way to each other about things that have nothing to do with the job. It's like no one wants to work. If you ask for help they never want to help and or they don't know what you're asking for. They wave a finger if you're lucky and point in a vague direction. I was delighted when this location opened, but I feel they need to be a little more selective in who they hire. I've seen fights almost break out by the register because someone had too many items for that line and the cashier allowed it and that set off an ugly argument. My point is "where is Management?" My other issue is the ridiculously long lines at checkout. Obviously more staff is required at certain hours. If you're short staffed and shut down the self checkout it's a horror show there at night. The deals at Walmart may be great, but it's not enough to keep me going to this location albeit more convenient. Shame. Hope someone bothers to read this and takes it into consideration when hiring and emphasizes the importance of quality customer service. It matters. read more

Oh Walmart supercenter, why can't they all be supercenters? This place is huge, they have everything, and in comparison to most Walmarts, it's relatively clean and organized! They're also always open so that's a huge plus. It's right next to Costco so you can really get all your shopping done in one stop! read more
