The only place where I get great service is in the produce section when Tino is working. He gives great customer service and is very kind.I do not use the pharmacy because of it's unfriendly service and long wait. I am appalled at the Walmart corporation itself and how poorly they treat their employees. I know that the way they get out of paying for benefits is to keep people part time.Who can live on part time hours in this economy. Whenever we switch to come to this location or part of town, it just doesn't feel so ghetto like the one on 104th! Store actually is more spacious on the aisles, employees will ask if you need anything or need help finding anything, and they take care of their produce a lot better! Cashiers also engage in conversation, plus I like the self checkout! If I lived closer I'd def go to this one all the time! read more

Don't try returning anything to this location. The people are so incompetent they can't even return items purchased from another Walmart store. If you get some one that can, they will say they can't return it because of the amount of the items ($77 total-not that much). That people working customer service are so rude and incompetent. read more

While in self checkout lane, realized the $10 bill I intended to pay with was ripped. Went over to the group of employees just standing around chatting to see if they could help, they looked at me and went back to chatting. I interrupted them, and they rudely said "of course you can pay with that, it's a $10 bill". I explained it was ripped & the machine wouldn't take it. They said,"then you need to go to a regular lane". Ugh. There were no express lanes open so I waited in a regular lane, got up to the cashier who then admonished me for buying 1 item in her lane! Said I needed to go to an express lane if I had that few of items! 1) since when is that a rule 2) why is it so hard to find someone here who wants to take my money??? This is one of many issues with this store. The fitting room staff is RUDE--to customers and to other employees. I was there Saturday night and listened to 1 particularly bossy person degrade and talk down to her coworkers in front of customers. Other times while in the fitting room I've overheard these catty women backstabbing other coworkers out in the open for all to hear & see. Some effective management is needed badly here. I've asked to talk to a manager there before & was told that all management is gone by 4 pm & I'd have to come back tomorrow. At a 24 HR location, there is no management after 4 pm? I don't expect much from Walmart... it is what it is. But their tolerance of rudeness to customers and to their own staff at this store is ridiculous. read more

I come to this Wal-Mart all the time for things on the way home. The last trip I had aggregated me so much. After doing some food shopping for the week we got to the front and of course like all Wal-Mart's not enough cashiers. They had 2 regular cashiers and self check out. The self check out was full to the max with a line of 6 people waiting for their turn. We had a full cart of food and items so we chose to wait in a line of 3 people at a actual cashier. The cashier had a issue with a item and started to take a long time and we still hadn't moved. I had what looked like a manager walked up to us and asked if we like we can go to another register that line looks to be moving. Yet the other line had 4 people in line. We figured it would go faster then the line we were in now so we moved. As we moved over the manager then said hey o can save you $50.00 today if you apply for a card and I can take you over to a register and help you apply. We politely declined and said we can't thank you. She still followed us and said it wouldn't take that long to apply. We said no again. As we waited in the new line at the register the cashier was very heavy conversation with the person and took forever to get to the next person. She talked about her diet and then tried to tell the person how their stuff is unhealthy and her new diet she couldn't have these things. As were waiting in line I saw that manager ask other people about opening a credit and then could take them to a new register to help them apply and check them out. There was another group of managers all laughing and talking about how they got 9 credits cards so far. There was about 5 managers all laughing and ignoring the fact there was all the people waiting in line wanting to leave and go home and no a single manager even opened a new line. They all just stood in a circle, some leaned on the candy bin. And once we FINALLY got to the front of now pur second line the cashier could not stop talking about her diet again! When we was bagging our items she put our Capri-sun box in with our bread. Our raw Chicken with our shampoo. After waiting in line for 30 mins watching all the management just stand around I was livid. I know from working in customer service ONE of those managers had a backup till some where. And to boot they had the nerve to ask for a credit card application as I heard them talk about already having 9? And that they would be happy to help if I opened a card.. seriously? Even though I do shop here for convenience more often then I wish I did, being it's the closest variety store to where I live! It's far from being my favorite store to go to. Many times items are way in the back of upper shelves where you can't get to it and finding help like pulling teeth! Their quality of produce usually stinks, I've bought produce that looked alright on the shelf but got it home and went to use it the very next day to find it's already gone bad! I've pretty much given up buying their meat, it's always tough and has little flavor if any? I've bought bread and had it mold again the very next day! I'm not sure if their getting old product their selling or what? But I know I used to be able to buy food and it hold up for days without going bad. If I buy much from WalMart any more, I only buy for what I'm using for that day and nothing more as far as most perishable food items go! Other items around the store I buy from time to time, as usual prices often reflect quality. But if your not too picky many items are alright. I won't buy WalMart's TV's or other electronic to speak of being most everything they sell is on the lower end of products and won't have a lot of the features the higher end products will have. Still, WalMart does have it's uses here and there. Especially when it's the closest store near you! I've just learned not to expect much going to WalMart. Your not going to find much in the way of service. Your going to have to figure out a way to get items yourself that are way in the back of upper shelves. You can complain all you want but it never changes! Plan on sometimes waiting in long lines checking out. They also love outing checker as far from the exit door at night to make you walk an extra block distance before even getting to the open exit door! Which I'm assuming this is a tactic to possibly help catch/stop shop lifters? Regardless, WalMart really not going out of their way to make a better experience for their customers! You'll probably pay more, but for better quality and service I'd recommend pretty much any other store to go buy your items from and in the long run you may find your glad you did! read more

ok first off... Walmart allows my big family to eat in am affordable price...so kudos to them... PHARMACY... aarrggg.. they r not so good.... they told me it would be a 30 min. wait..... when i came back 30 min. later.,. it was a 2 hour wait... they have lost prescriptions, have not recognized my kids files after filling several prescriptions for them... the staff is a hit or miss.. they r rather really nice, or horrible!! I love the idea of a $4.00 prescription, but i would much rather pay a little more to get good service at a decent time... read more

I will no longer shop at this Walmart since they are detaining people to check their receipts. Store like Costco are allowed to this because it is stated in their membership contract. There is no sign up stating this is now store policy so what they are doing amounts to illegal detention. read more

To be honest, I'm scared when I come in here. To be fare I think everybody has been scared or nervous at one point, but when you see guys with no shirt dancing in the parking lot, that wish comes true - in a bad way. First of all Im no expert but most people don't wear pythons around their neck as fashion in most stores. Sometimes I wonder if the people in the scooters want to get off and run, but what do you do? Great selection I have to say but quality and weekly care is pretty horrid. When I thought I had bad hygiene don't think so fast. Go to Walmart first. I like the employees and selection, but the people - not so much. You know the place is a true Wal Mart style store when there is a MC Donald's. Not only that, but trailer trash bums leeching off the "cheep" prices in the parking lot. I find it hard that bear grills was sponsored by them. read more

After driving across town to make it to the new wal mart off fourth plain near 162nd before the customer service desk closed, went inside with ten minutes to spare just to find customer service already closed down & then with little empathy was referred to wait in their cigarette isle line for 12 minutes just to be told that they couldn't do anything to help me cause they were short handed due to call ins. I had the receipt for my return and was there 10 minutes before their customer service desk were said to be closed by and then make me wait in line just to basically turn me away and tell me to try the customer service desk at the 192nd walmart. Letting me know that they close at 11pm and the time then being 10:49pm I run out the doorawhile dialing the 192nd Walmart and confirming that the customer service desk was indeed open til 11pm. I get in my car and speed all the way down there. Barely missed the 11pm mark by one or two minutes. Feeling like I was SOL again, I ask anyways, I believe I spoke too I believe to be the night time supervisor and also the manger on duty, Shawn and Cory. Informed them both of what I had endured just to get to here tonight and without any hesitation they both said of course they could help me with my return. Cory took me over to customer service and refunded me for my Receipted return in a matter of seconds and then I was caught off guard by Shawn's (MOD) sweethearted demeanor for apologizing for how I was treated by the other employees over at the new Walmart there off fourth plain near 162nd. So sweet of her to go out of her way to apologize to me for something that she ultimately had no control over and or no part in, but she did and I just would like to say thank you Shawn for that, it meant a lot to hear that and thank you again for helping me tonight even though I didn't make it to your customer service desk by 11pm lol I was involuntary taking part in a jerk circ over there inside the new Walmart off of fourth plain and 162nd until I was referred to your store. Glad I was though, for just the great customer service I was given by both Cory and Shawn tonight certainly made up for the lack of customer service and mistreatment I had endured at the other Walmart and then some!! i am new at this and i am not even sure i have the right place but i would like to write a review about my favorite checker . her name is patty chamousis and i always try to get in her line, even if i have to pass up a checker that isn;t busy. she is friendly, efficient and she has my vote for best checker at this wal mart store. there are others that are good, but patty just has that special spark. and if i ask her opinion about a certain product she is gives me her honest opinion and i value that over someone who will gloss over something and give the wrong opinion. at least when i purchase something i won't have to return it, unless i get the wrong size or whatever, which would be my fault, because of false advertising. i hope that this gets to the proper people in personnel so they will know what a great checker patty is. thank you. idy read more
