Great Walmart. Best place to shop in the area. Always has everything you need and of course it's all cheaper than everywhere else. The outside of the Walmart is a work of art as well. Terrible customer service. Found wooden planter I liked but corner was split. Took it to Customer Service. There were four employees standing around chatting - no other customers. It took a few minutes for anyone to acknowledge me then it was someone telling someone else to help me. They only offered me 10% discount on damaged planter, despite it being pretty bad. Not a good experience. I hope they don't put the busted planter back on the shelf. They could have been reasonable and made a fair sale. read more

I've always been happy with this Walmart, you can't beat going to Walmart and seeing mountains on your walk to the entrance door. This trip was a bit different in the fact that you can only enter one side and exit the other (it blocked off if you're going to wrong way). Also, they did have signs up everywhere reading that masks are required but they weren't enforcing it. The employees were wearing them but customers didn't seem to have to, at this point I think they're slowly relaxing. There were wipes for the carts and the cart keepers were keeping the lots cleaned, awesome job! I was pleased with the stock and was able to find what I needed, 8x10 picture frame, a specific toy for my daughter (trolls 2), and some car cleaner. I even picked up a few items I wasn't planning on buying but actually needed to get. It happens! read more

So I bought a charger for my weed wacker, it was the wrong size, so I returned it. When I brought it back with the receipt, the "Manager" refused to give me my money back, because the serial number of the charger didn't match the box, obviously still brand new. I told him I had bought it 24 hours earlier from the same store, no BS it just is the wrong size. Too bad he says! $110 down the drain, nothing I can do. One thing I will do is never go to that store again. Amazon delivers! read more

This review is only for the Automotive department: So I went in for a new battery for my car and rotation of the tires. Other people were ahead of me work wise so we waited for about 45 minutes. Then a young guy takes my car in. When he walks out to the counter I asked if he did both the battery and tire rotation and he said he only replaced the battery because that was all that was on the work order. I turned to the guy that wrote up the work order and he says to me I should have requested that when I came in. I said I did! You wrote up the work ordet!! He says I will have to wait because other people are now in front of me...note my cat is already in a service bay!! These guys are totally inept! We will go to Teller Tire in Divide even if we have to pay for a rotation. (Update...they did the rotation for free after I told them the story - good guys! On the way home from WalMart my car suddenly died and I coasted to the side of the road. A stranger stopped to help see what is wrong. I told him I just got a new battery but dash lights were dead. After a minute of searching he goes back to his truck and gets a tool. After a minute he says try it now and the car starts up! I asked him what it was and he says: The negative cable for the battery was just loose. He said it must have bounced off when I hit a bump! The red cable was tightened down. The Wal-Mart tech had jus set it on the post and never tightened it. I gave the guy $20 for stopping and helping - he refused but I made him take it cuz he has kids and a pickup to feed. So my vote for Automotive is zero but I raised it higher since the rest of the store was good. read more

Drive up order was completed without any substitutions and the guy even flagged me down after he forgot a couple of items that were in my order. The wait is a little longer than other drive ups but the workers are so nice that it's not a huge deal. Definitely try to avoid super busy times on the weekends though. Inside the store, it's hit or miss. But the last time I was in most people were not following the directional signs on the floor and just shopping as they would usually. read more

I do not recommend going here, I'm a grown adult they follow me around the store thinking I'm going to steal all the time, I always pay for my stuff. The workers there are disrespectful. They have a undercover security personnel who stalks you and It's completely disgusting, he runs around the store trying to find me, he winks at me, and gets other employees to stalk me. He always shows up when I arrive. I don't feel safe with a man following me. read more

FOR TRANSIENTS ONLY The stores are generally very dirty, and the merchandise is substandard Chinese garbage. When I say "For transients only," I don't mean homeless people. I'm saying that Walmart's favorite customers are those who are from out of town, and are passing through quickly-- and won't be around to return the products that don't work. There's also the element of a few elites at the top making millions of dollars per year for doing almost nothing, while paying their hard working and dedicated employees very very little. What is worse than you order a large seeded watermelon for $6.97 (the most you have ever paid for a fruit), they give you a small personal sized seeded melon that tastes awful, and they say they are going to refund you for the mellon, and then say they did refund you the mellon? What is worse? They are either lying which I'd hate to think, or they just thought they refunded it. You would think they'd check??? I threw out so much bad produce from this pickup order it made my trash bag begin to rip! Since they do not allow refund claims online anymore, City Market has way better produce to begin with. However, I sure wish someone would train these kids to pick out produce or make them eat it! NEVER ORDER FRESH PRODUCE FOR PICKUP LATE AFTERNOON AT WALMART! read more

*Review for Automotive Dept. only* Pretty seamless each time, for a synthetic oil change. They get you in and out in a reasonable timeframe, and the price is always competitive. Plus fluid check, tire compression and basic maintenance. Extra star this time, the guy doing intake took the time to discuss viscosity and best winter performance with us- unfortunately I didn't catch his name. Lots of holes on the shelves! Never enough cash registers open! I shop at Walmart often out of necessity and they have been getting worst across the board. They have a monopoly and they know it. Customer service! What's that? Last time we went to the Woodland Park store we were double and triple charged for many items. We challenged the clerk and our bill was over $100 less the second go round. Came home with about two thirds of what we went for. This company has destroyed small town America businesses and left consumers little choice but to shop there. read more

I have been to this Walmart a few times since I've come to town and am not a fan. The only Goya products they have are in the frozen foods section and they're premade dishes, they don't carry any good seasonings. The organic and gluten free selection is very small. The employees at the registers are friendly for the most part, however, the employees in customer service, the greeters, stockers, etc. are far from friendly. They have decent clearance and that and the employees at the registers are the only reason I am giving this any stars. read more

This Walmart now has someone at the end of the cash register lines checking receipts. I bought a single box of dog treats, right in front of the guy. I know the people of Woodland Park fought against this, but it was a much needed add to the growing area. This store is clean and the staff friendly. Parking lot is kinda crazy so be sure to look and then look again before going. Lots of accidents seem to happen as people are exiting onto Hwy 67 too. Given the growing season up this high is so short they don't get a lot of flowers in the garden center. read more

I have to say, the critical reviews of this Walmart make me want to puke! We lived here for years & years with NO Walmart and had to drive all the way down to Colorado Springs for the price benefits Walmart presents. The store is neat, clean & I've always found the employees helpful, even if what I asked about wasn't in their particular department. Those of you who are so critical, try going a year or more without it - drive to the Springs for things you need & can't find anywhere else up here. We're a low population area, so we're not going to have everything a big city Wal art has ... that's just economics & sound business planning. This is one of the dirtiest Walmart that I have ever been in my whole life. The bathrooms were atrocious and you could find litter throughout the store. The people in the parking lot must have gotten their driver's licenses out of a Cracker Jack Box because they couldn't park. Also, the parking lot had lots of litter in it. The place was just a mess and the staff was not very friendly, so we will never go back to this place. read more

Worst Walmart Anywhere!!!! Shelves are never stocked. No one enforces the mask requirement. Went in to return an item at 5:15 on Wednesday afternoon. Walked to customer service and the lights were turned off. Manager behind customer service desk said the employee who was handling customer service was on break. So they close customer service?!? Seriously! Manager said returns were being handles on Register 5. Got in line behind 5 other people and the cashier on Register 5 kept going to talk to the manager in customer service to ask how to do things. I finally gave up and left the store. This store is a joke! I don't know who the manager is but he doesn't know how to run a business and I can't believe that Corporate lets him/her keep their job. This is the best WalMart in the area. Clean, pretty, not packed with people all the time. My friends want to shop at this location in Teller county because the ones in El Paso county are not as nice. You can actually find someone to help you in this store! Most of the check-outs are self-serve now, but you can still get a checker if you wait. Inventory isn't perfectly consistent, but nowhere is. The outside is lovely. You can find a parking place and get in and out as fast, or as slowly, as you please. read more

A very nice store on the outside. A semi failure on the inside. It would be a fine place to shop if they ever restocked the store. Even simple things like water are no where to be found. A couple of rude employees but the nice Japanese lady that works there makes the whole experience a nice one despite the fact I can't find anything I need. The Woodland Park Walmart USED to carry Planters Peanut Butter in large jars....now, there are none. At a dinner party, we were discussing the fact that we can't find Planters at our Walmart, anymore. One lady said, "Target" carries it. I don't know if the Walmart on 8th Street in Co. Springs carries it, because I'm tired of empty shelves at 'our' Walmart." What has happened to this store? Planters Peanut Butter is made by Kraft. If I find it at another store, I will buy enough jars for the ladies who were complaining. AND, the store is continually moving stuff around. You can barely get a cart between displays and the check-out aisle. read more
