I bought a cake from the bakery (that I was told was freshly made) . When I cut into the cake it was covered in two layers of mold! I brought the cake and was told that this is a normal thing and the workers were not phased in the slightest bit. I got a new cake and a refund, but I don't even want to eat the cake anymore knowing that it's "normal" for their cakes to be moldy. This is why you can't eat fresh fruit and vegetables because they mostly look like this. This made me sick to look at and would probably make you really sick if you ate any of this. It is so disappointing and disgusting that this is how the food looks and we wonder why everyone has health issues. Just unacceptable in my opinion. I have stopped shopping here because the last time I went I bought a glass can of spaghetti sauce only to get home to use it same day to find out the expired date of it as in January 2025. I purchased it yesterday which was May 2, 2025. I am returning it tomorrow. Look at the expiration dates if you shop here. They obviously don't. I won't shop here again. read more

the bakery is terrible! my husband ordered a cake with bettercreme frosting the whipped kind. well after presents i was sadly disappointed that the cake was stale not freshly made and it had a horrible buttercreme icing. this cake was obviously at least a day old or more.!!!! cake is my favorite thing in the world. i suggest you go to another bakery!!!!! read more

First off.... I feel really horrible about leaving this review. Only because I really do love shopping at this store. The employees are SUPER SUPER friendly and helpful and always recognize me and my young son. He can be a handful in there at times and they have always been patient with him and even stepping in to give him a sticker or just to occupy him while I am checking out. But today I completely felt unwanted in that store. Not by the store per say... but by the cashier. I need to say that I am NOT one of those people who likes to use the fast check out line meant for people only buying a few items and yet I have 65 items in my cart. So this morning I was again with my son (he was being good!) ...and all of the lines were filled and I saw the last line had only one customer in it and he was just finishing up. Great! So i got in line and put my items on the belt. I may have had about 35 items more or less. The first thing the cashier says to me is.... 'You've got a lot of items here!' I thought it was a strange thing to say considering sometimes I have a huge careful! So I looked at her and said something like 'I guess so' and then she says 'Guess you didn't notice it was the express checkout lane'... I looked up and immediately apologized to her saying that I was sorry and I honestly didn't even notice. That I just saw an empty lane and went in it. I wasn't trying to take advantage of it or anything. It was an honest mistake. And I also said to her that if someone had come and I knew that I would have moved out of the way for them. She kept saying it was OKAYYY but I could tell she was perturbed with me and was completely unfriendly. And just to add this.... Not one customer ever came into the line the entire time I was checking out. And many times I have shopped at that store when I had a few extra items over that lines 20 item limit... the cashier has called me in and said it was no problem for her to check me out considering there was no one else in line. So....when she had finished checking out... I paid for my items. I use EBT to pay and I had just grabbed my card out of my purse when I went in. And how embarrassing it was when there was .10$ left on my order to pay because EBT doesn't pay for what they charge you in the store for the paper bags. And Everytime I shop there, they have never charged me for the bags. I looked at her and I said Oh my God I'm so sorry I don't even have that on me. I seriously was embarrassed. She rolled her eyes at me. And I told her that they hadn't been charging me for them. And she said that they must have been deleting the bag price off of my orders and that no one should be doing that and it is NOT ALLOWED! I had nothing to say. I just apologized again. And she said she would have to delete the 10 cents off of the order. I said thank you... took my sons hand and walked out. I know this may all sound petty. And minor. But I had had a bad morning to begin with. When I got outside and my husband got out of the car to help put the bags in the car he must have seen it in my face. Because he immediately asked me what was wrong. And I just started to cry in the parking lot. Please don't judge me. Sometimes all it takes to make or break someone's day is someone else either being super nice to them... or super mean. And she was not nice. Im sure there are people out there who can relate to that. And now I'm letting it go. But never again will I deal with that woman. I can't write her name because it was hidden behind her jacket. Bizarre interaction with a manager. The store was packed and every line was full. So when I get up it's a nice teenage kid ringing up my stuff and a manager of some kind (idk if it's a shift lead or something) bagging groceries. She helps cash out my alcohol and then leaves to chat to some employees right behind the lane I'm in. I assumed she was going to say a quick few words then start bagging my groceries once a few more items had been scanned. But she never did. She just kept chatting, doing nothing that appeared super important. So now I look like the bad guy because I didn't start bagging my groceries to move this line along. I have no problem bagging my own groceries, especially when lines are long, but it seemed weird that she just went to chat when the line was still growing behind me. The cashier was very sweet as he helped me and even put the heavier bags directly into my cart. However the management needs to figure it out. At least excuse yourself from the lane before taking off to do nothing! read more

I stopped by after work the other day to pick up a couple things( I get out late).It was 30 mins till closing time and I didn't want to hold up the employees from closing up. I hurried as fast as I could grabbing the essentials.. When the staff anounced there was one minute left to shop I headed back to the register. I was told that they shut down immediately at closing time, and I was asked to turn over my shopping cart. I felt like I was in trouble with the police or something, my anxiety shot through the roof. I realize I was one minute late, I own that. But to "confiscate" my cart was embarrassing and frustrating because I failed to bring home food for people that were expecting it, and a hungry cat ihad to answer to. I'm not saying to let me do what I want and check me out. I never experienced that type of treatment. Literally one min late. read more

In groceries and had to have it all put back on my card and returned because even if you spend 250 your groceries must fit in your pocket if you don't have cash for bags and park ave worc. So inside, this price chopper is MUCH nicer, than the one on Park Ave., next to Elm Park. Although at night, they shut the light off, and feels sketchy. ILike you know the greasy 42 year olds that check you out? That's who shops here at night. Same with drunk college/high school age students. Still I love the fact, it's 24 hours. Nothing like it. 1) The candy by the pound. for 2.49 you get a pound candy. At the movies, right down the road, its 9.99 a pound. Get your candy at Price Chopper and sneak it in Showcase. 2) They have an area, where you can sit and watch CNN or whatever is on. This isn't always obviously, but it's open pretty late. It's basically like a little cafeteria type thing. 3) They have hot food, and a really awesome salad bar. 4) Really good health food section, except it's actually more expensive than Trader Joe's. Once again, I don't know what you can do at 2:45am or 4:15am that involves a supermarket, but I know you can make fun out of it. I know my friends and I did, back when were bored. For example buy stuff to make a cake? Those always taste good, late at night. Or race shopping carts drunkly up the aisles? Throw food OVER the aisles and see if the other person can get it to land in the cart? Play hide and go seek, until you get kicked out? See the possibilities are limitless. read more

PLEASE just close this store down until it's a Market 32!!! I was there Mon night just before closing on the night of the recent blizzard. CHRIST this store is not only trashed but some things weren't accessible. You're even selling old refrigerated foods. I mean you can SEE thru the package that this food IS NOT FIT FOR FOOD CONSUMPTION!!! Even the produce look like they needed a Redbull! There's all sorts of workers in there but when you ask a question...they're only remodeling people & know nothing about the store or its stock. I come here to do my shopping almost every week and I will continue to do so.. They always have what I want here, its clean, the employees are nice, and the prices are fair, and theres plenty of parking.. The only complaint I have is some of the produce(milk, eggs, ext) is sometimes outdated, and not taken off the shelf right away so make shure you check the dates.. read more

So this is now a market 32, which is overall a nice market. Just so everyone knows, there have been countless times where we have carefully picked out items that are on sale, buy one get one free, half off, etc. It's always advertised as such in the aisles, but for some reason when you go to pay they charge you full price. My dad usually speaks up if he remembers which items are supposed to be marked down, and the cashiers usually are confused, and sometimes need to call another employee over to apply the discount. Obviously it's hard to keep track of every item that's supposed to be on sale in your cart, so when we look at the receipt at home, there are several items that they charged full price when they were supposed to be discounted. But this Price Chopper is actually an exception, I don't mind going there if we need something. Usually they have specials on something that interests me, just got a big box of tangerines there. Price Chopper is my favorite grocery store. Being open 24 hours a day is a big plus. They also have a fairly decent selection of natural/organic food. The prices are reasonable and with the Price Chopper card you are constantly earning discounts on gas!!! read more

Floral only: Jade is an absolutely talented floral artist and a pleasure to work with. In an easy-going style in person, her creativity shone immensely with the floral pieces she created for our wedding. We had a limited budget for flowers and Jade blew us away with her finished designs. Our intent, with a winter black and silver color theme, was for the flowers to be bright, bold, and a "pop" of fun. The guests kept commenting on how beautiful the floral arrangements and bouquets were. I paid over the phone for the flowers and Jade offered to send me the receipt. Not only did she do that, but sent it with a heartfelt, handwritten note wishing us well in our marriage. Jade was flexible and fun to work with. I would highly recommend seeking out Jade's services at Central Market Florist at Price Chopper at the Summit (Pullman Street).
