Note: The office staff never greeted me. The staff wrapped up with other clients. Additional patients walked in and they waited on them. I approached the host stand again and told the staff member that I had been waiting for a while. The staff member told me to take a seat again or they can reschedule my appointment (for 2 months from now on a Saturday). Note: A patient walked out on an appointment a few minutes earlier because they were running behind on appointments and they rescheduled her appointment for next week. Then a patient walked in wishing to see the doctor and the office staff helped her immediately ignoring the people and myself in the waiting area who had appointments. I told the office staff to remove my name, I do not want to reschedule my appointment, and that I would be taking my business elsewhere. The office staff never apologized or offered to help me (except for 2 months from now).

If the eye doctor changes your prescription after you get the glasses, they will redo them free. Glasses came back promptly after ordered. Beware, however of two things. First, the optical area is ALWAYS understaffed for the number of customers, so expect to wait 30-60 minutes every time you visit. This means you will be helped by a staff person who is hurried and under pressure, with five or more people waiting for you to finish. They have no "line" or even "take a number" system, so you have no idea how long the line actually is. Second, every optical retailer I'm aware of is willing to exchange unopened boxes of contacts if your prescription changes. Not Costco! I purchased contacts in September of 2019. Dr. Steele changed my prescription in February of 2020. I had two boxes of contacts (approx $200) in the old prescription (with an expiration date on the box of 2024) and Costco refused to exchange them because my original contact prescription (NOT my purchase) was more than 12 months old. Happily, I found out 1800Contacts has prices that are better than Costco and they were willing to take back the contacts I purchased AT Costco(!) and fill my new prescription with that credit.....and they were far faster, friendlier, and competent. My advice is that the "savings" isn't worth the hassle, the lack of customer service, and the more restrictive approach to exchanges of contacts.

The least expensive option from the other places was $150 for just the eye exam with no insurance and another one was $250! Affordable eye care was only $40! Please check this place out for both price and the friendliest crew working there. They also have a lab inside that does your lenses within 20 minutes. Extremely quick.
