It was not taking my payment which they said they would call me for to get the payment issue resolved. A good two plus weeks during the holidays go by and no call back so I called to check on the order. That's when they take the missing payment, telling me the order was not fulfilled due to this and me thinking that perhaps the payment had finally gotten processed, was done. Nope. A delay. Another few weeks go and I call... I get told that insurance denied it due to another customer who has the same name and birthday as me, so they are going to contact them and try it again. More weeks go by and I call yet again. Get told the same thing so I ask of the other person has a middle initial, they do not whereas I do. They try again and it seems that the error has been corrected. Again, I am waiting. I called back several days later and get told that the glasses should be here last week. Nope. It isn't until today, 02-17 that they are finally here. Why did I need to be calling so constantly for updates? Why was this issue with the other person not easily resolved since it's obvious we are not the same person? They have a variance which is easy to see with the middle initial which is displayed in my name. The glasses fit well but this last situation has put a dent in my confidence with the service. I was told the issue was now a delay with VSP, which is my vision caretaker so now I don't know where the error truly lay.

When I came in there was a little patient information sheet to fill out and I as seen my Brenda shortly after. Brenda was nice and quick and efficient, and then I waited a few more minutes before being seen by the doctor. Everything went so effortlessly it always seemed too good to be true. I came in on a Friday morning when they opened so it wasn't packed. All the services were fairly quick anyway. I loved that I was able to get contacts right on site. The doctor had me put the first pair in so that I could get help if need be. It's been over a decade since wearing them so I was excited that I still remembered! Price of contacts were reasonable, about $90 for a 6 month supply. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no contact kit, with solution and a case. I remember when I received contacts before I got those with my first set. So I went to Walmart to pick them up (no biggie). There is plenty of parking available as they are located in a strip mall area.

She Did help me with my contact prescription and went through various trials until she found the right script. The glasses side however... I purchased a pair earlier in 2023. When I went to pick up, the glasses didn't feel like they fit. Too big. So I said something. The attendant put them back on my face and pressed them down into my ears telling me they were fine. I would end up going back FIVE TIMES to have the new glasses adjusted because they were too big. Each time being told thinga like "they're fine, they fit fine I don't understand what the problem is, try this adjustment out for a little while", and my favorite, "why are you working outside, of course they'll feel too big in the heat". Meanwhile, I was wearing a broken pair of old glasses because the new ones DIDN'T FIT. I go back and complain, saying I want to exchange. They did do the exchange but did not refund me the difference between the new pair that were too big and newer pair that fit.

There must not be much turnover because we've been going there for just over 3 years and Jason and Carolyn have been there helping us every year! I feel like this is so rare and this place is such a gem. They're awesome. Just so friendly and helpful. It's nice to have a doctors office where you can trust the doctors AND the staff. My husband and I get eye exams there and contact lens exams as well. They take insurance but they also can see you without insurance. The cost for an eye exam without insurance is $60 and the contact lens exam is $120. We've gotten glasses there in the past and they're always reasonably priced. I also get my colored contacts from them and my insurance covers it just like any other pair of contacts! How fun right?? The office is great because they've always let me try on the various colors (amethyst, blue, gray, green, hazel... the list goes on!...) and then I order with confidence.
