I visited this place for an eye exam about 4 months ago. I so tried to explain to this doctor (the…read moretall skinny one, as he describes himself, I think James, but he seems to not want to clearly identify who he is) that no matter what the test results are, my glasses have ended up being too strong and I've had to bring them back the last 2 times I've gotten glasses. He had no UNDERSTANDING, but used the professional lingo on me, such as, "I think you'll find this prescription just right...etc." I walked out with the prescription, dissatisfied because I already knew it would be too strong. I decided to return before even wasting my time going and getting glasses. Though he said he was not upset, he was upset and gave me a hard time before changing the prescription to what my old prescription was. Only he didn't change it exactly but altered one of the numbers. I went and got glasses but one eye was stronger and gave me headaches. It just caused me all kinds of trouble and now I've wasted $300 for this exam plus 2 pairs of glasses that bother my eyes. Sure would have been nice to have someone that cared, and who had discernment to help me get an accurate exam. I forgive him.

Don't recall her name but it started with a G. The ladies at the front desk were very rude. The doctor was rude too. She rushed the exam and got us in and out quick even though no one else was in the place. Very unfriendly. Waiting room was a mess. Magazines on the floor. The ladies at the front desk were just sitting there ignoring it. Not going back.

Fact:!- On 03.2025, I visited this location for an eye exam for glasses and contacts lenses, keep in mind I have 2 vision care plans with Eyemed and vision works is within my network for both insurance providers. I paid $79 for the office visit( target uses eyemed and its free- go to target less than 5 minutes away) and $335 for a years supply of contact lenses & Xtra protection for my glasses, the clerk said they accepted both of my insurance plans. (I had already called eyemed and confirmed prior to my visit). Even with using 2 providers I still paid over $400 out of pocket. ( I was ok, because my normal out of pocket is around $285). But what I'm not ok with, NOW 3 months later I get a bill for $160 for my contacts lenses, keep in mind the total cost of my contacts was originally $286 (printed on the paid receipt), they told me my out of pocket cost was $86 in which I paid on 03.25, now they are trying to bill me the $160 even after they billed the insurance company. I confirmed with the insurance provider $200 was paid through my plan coverage. I than called VW, needless to say the customer service agent was lost and couldn't explain why I received the bill. I tried to explain the numbers didn't add up. (Total cost for contact lenses $286: insurance paid $200, I paid $86 =$286). The call was useless so I just hung up and called the insurance company. Eyemed had me submit a claim for possible insurance fraud and they are now investigating the issue. If you don't want to go through the headache of being scammed, just avoid this place including the optometrist office all together. Just go to Target down the street they use eyemed as well.
