I walked into my appointment, and was greeted immediately and walked back to the room for the initial examination. It was quick! I then saw the doctor, who was a cool, bearded gentleman that spoke calmly, clearly, and answered all my questions. He even recommended products that he uses by pulling them up on the internet using a large screen for me to see. Eye examines are annual, maybe bi-annual appointments for me, but if I had the opportunity to go often, I would! My entire appointment, including checking out frames took 40 minutes from the time I walked in the door.

They have comparable prices and usually run specials if you are purchasing more than one pair. I also appreciate the variety of locations with a joint system, making it very convenient to use multiple locations towards the same goal. That's why I've used them the last several years. However, the staff is what makes a location desirable to me, and 16 months ago I was settling for this location, not choosing it. That all changed when I stopped by last month and saw an entirely different staff from my last visit. In fact, the staff partially comprised of some of the superstars from the Highland Village location, including the current manager. I think the change occurred about 3 months ago. I was thrilled to see Brooke, easily my favorite Visionworks employee, and everything has run so smoothly from our consultation to communication updates to the pickup! Everything was so seamless and convenient and since we live in Denton, it's a relief to have an excellent location locally! I'm always impressed with Brooke, she is so personable and remembers previous interactions and just makes you feel so welcome. She is incredibly thorough too, which is so appreciated when you are continually in a time crunch and can't afford to do things twice. We came in looking to make a current pair of my husband's glasses into prescription sunglasses. He wanted transition lenses for those long road trips that span the entire day and had no interest in switching back and forth. Brooke did a fantastic job going over options and making us aware of extra benefits we didn't know we could use. She got us a great deal and my husband was able to hold onto his current glasses for a backup pair without any additional cost. My husband is really impressed with his new sunglasses! The transition capability goes way darker than we hoped for, which comes in handy on those painfully sunny days. It's been several weeks and I sometimes catch him holding them out the window to see how fast they change, lol. Thank God for their text system! I was out of town dealing with a family emergency and completely forgot we had even ordered these. You do get emails during the process, assuring you things are going well, but the text occurs only when your order is ready for pickup, allowing you to easily arrange your plans. The entire process took less than 2 weeks. I can't say enough good things about this location or the excellent staff. Highly recommend!

I contacted the office Tuesday to schedule an appointment for Thursday. The lady who answered the…read morephone did not know which provider covered my Metlife Insurance Policy. I had the numbers on the card available, but instead of working the issue and contacting my insurance - she submitted under a random electronic drop down for a different type of Metlife insurance and I was later contacted via text with a message stating Spectrum Vision needed additional insurance information. I called the Spectrum Vision office and was given voicemail. On the voicemail - I left my insurance numbers and the phone number for Metlife. A phone number the office workers could have used to call Metlife and verify this office was covered (as it is listed in the online provider directory). Instead of doing her job, she cancelled my appointment when I was unable to pickup the phone Wednesday. I was working constantly and unable to pick up the phone - so she should have done her job instead of cancelling my appointment. Is it that hard to call a phone number for an insurance provider? They fitted me for a new set of glasses that took quite a while to get which was unfortunate as my glasses were damaged and i needed a new pair sooner than later but this is no fault of theirs. I understand that orders take time and especially when you have custom fitted glasses and other additional films add time and work. I look forward to getting my new glasses and coming back more regularly. The whole team here is fantastic, easy to work with, and eager to help. You can even text them questions and they respond very quickly!
