Arrived at this location as a walk-in about 1100, 08/02/2016. I had read the Yelp reviews before I…read morearrived, and was not expecting much. I left greatly surprised and very pleased with my customer experience. I had been shopping for optometric service in the Greensburg area and have been less than pleased with every place I have visited, except this one. Friendly, communicated well, quickly made a same day appointment, skilled tech, awesome doc, left after 1 hour or so with an exam, Rx, contacts, a very fair price and the rest of my day intact. Note: I did not get glasses, and was told that lens services are shipped to another location, AFAIK this is pretty common in chains, but I'd expect it to take a return visit, and in general add time to the services rendered. While I cannot speak to the veracity of the other reviews of this location, I do see that they are a few years old. If they were in fact correct they in no way reflect current operations, and my experience was as positive as the other reviews were negative. Caveat emptor, of course, but it looks like they have really upped their game, and as a satisfied customer, I think they should feel proud about it.

I came in on Sunday and waited 30 min…read morefor zero help and came in again on 2/25/20 at 11:00 AM E or so and waited 40 min and only one person able to help customers and one employee on phones. No help, understaffed. Westmoreland County needs a Warby Parker! Reality, I wanted to use my insurance because it is very good coverage but at the end of the day I am willing to pay out of pocket for quality service! I will NOT be returning and would suggest to anyone thinking that you can get in and get out...before walking in...if you see only two employees working and any customers Don't Go...you will be ignored. Oh the biggest convo going was how the one employee was going to have to work until 7PM w/no one else! Sad...

The sales/techicians staff is very good, and friendly. My only complaint is this location does not have the same equipment that the Pittsburgh location has. I'm not sure what the machine is called, but it takes digital pictures of your eyes so you don't have to have them dilated.
