Mr. Barry was great with my son, Preston. He was proud to get 4 new pairs of glasses.

We went to Walmart to pick out glasses for my 6 year old. The woman that helped us was fabulous. They arrived in quickly. Mr. Barry helped us when we picked up. He was silly and very helpful in making my son understand the responsibility of wearing glasses. He showed him how to put the glasses on and take them off properly. He explained to him that no one else can wear his special lenses. He even told him how to take care of is glasses. It was a great experience for both of us. Thank you sir for going above and beyond.

Helped me pick out frames that fit my face, look good, and lenses with appropriate tint at a great price.

So a doctor Is supposed to break the Law & not follow up & refit a thing on ur eye?! If that Contact goes bad or doesn't fit anymore then what? It's the law!!! Look it up! Doctors are liable for everything they touch and certain insurances charge copays And fees, I have VSP,and the contacts lens service AND allowance is 60 and my friend has EyeMed hers was more!! Plus eyeglass exam too ...I can't expect a Doctor to survive in free exams & no copays,u bet ur bottom dollar I don't want a place like that , the fees are nothing bc what expertise are u getting? Any normal person goes To a Licensed Optometrist, I used to get Rx from Eye Surgeons ophthalmology places & they ruined my glasses Rx & never got contacts rite, it was when I finally Went to optometrists that Rx was perfect & a bunch of technicians worked on me,but at optometrists place The Eye Doc actually did it all! Sorry I totally disagree w Kinjal above, too risky to not PAY for what you Get!

It was time to go back to the eye, doctors..aahh sigh. The joys of getting older. This little…read moreeyeglasses doctor and shop is located in the shoprite at mid state mall in east brunswick 2 steps away from a dunkin. The doctor was pleasant and efficient. Didn't talk down to me. I had my prescription in minutes. I picked out my lenses by the helpful young kid named Danal(sp). His mom and him basically run the glasses portion of the shop. They are courteous and most helpful at helping you pick the right frames for your face. Within a week, I had my new glasses. They made sure they fit right and their were no problems. It's definitely a great place if you're in the market for new glasses and an eye exam. So you can get an eye exam, pick out your glasses, grab a dunkin' if that's your thing, and do your grocery shopping all in one swoop. They take most insurances and are cost effective. So if ya can't read this go to optical.

Vesta continues to give us outstanding service. She takes the time and puts in the effort to make sure we are satisfied. When I was having trouble focusing on my computer screen with my progressive lenses Vesta suggested she make an "old school" bifocal so I could have a mid-range and reading lens. (side note: I worked form home during the pandemic so the focus on my screen was different from the office) She helped us found a simple frame that looked good and would work for the bifocals. They were perfect! And now, Vesta's son is working there, too, and he is just as easy and pleasant to work with. All we can say is "keep up the good work! we truly appreciate it!"

Dr. Roth didn't answer any of my questions, and seemed to be following a checklist. He pushed the eye device into my face rather hard, hard enough where it hurt when it impacted my forehead. My eye pressure was high--something that should not have been overlooked--but Dr. Roth failed to even notice it. After I brought it up, he quickly dismissed it, saying he'd "take care of it" as he rushed me out. Take care of it when? That kind of neglect is unacceptable. I literally have to go to a different doctor to redo the exam because this guy was so incompetent. This is not to mention that I was initially told vision therapy would be covered by my insurance, and then told the first part would be $1400 not covered by any insurance. He wouldn't tell me the cost of the next part nor would he tell me what was involved. Please don't go here - you deserve better.

My son has a hard time sitting still for too long he was able to get up, move around, stim if he needed, he was given the time he needed to regulate himself so that he could continue his exam. She broke his exam up into multiple seasons so that he would be able to tolerate the exam and become familiar with her. It worked we were able to find out if he needed glasses. Her assistants are wonderful as well they were so patient and kind. I would definitely recommend this eye care center for everyone, especially those with special needs.

Dr. S clearly reviewed some serious eye concerns with me and he even corrected my contacts in the same visit! My contacts have never fit better, but most importantly he helped me with my serious eye concerns AND my medical issues that led to the concerns with my vision. Dr. S may focus on your eyes, but he is concerned with your overall well being and he certainly took several extra steps to try and help me. I am thankful for doctors like him! I live about 30 minutes away from this office and though there are other Doctors closer to my home, I went based on a recommendation from a friend and I would agree....THEY ARE WORTH THE EXTRA DISTANCE!

It was easy to book an appointment as a new patient- I sent an email and then called them to confirm my appointment and details. I was able to get in a slot within a week. There is a spacious parking lot in a complex (with Starbucks, Jersey mikes etc). I checked in, filled out the forms and in about 15 mins I was called in for my appointment. They had nice high tech equipments that I hadn't seen (and I've been to the eye doctors appointments for almost two decades) which felt very comprehensive. The doctor was thorough and answered all my questions and didn't make me feel rushed. Would recommend!
