While the quality of care here is phenomenal, working here is a very different story. I suffered an…read moreextreme mental health crisis to the point where I wasn't even able to properly put in a two week notice, because the doctor is, in my informed opinion as a current psychology major, a borderline sociopath. He is wonderful to his patients, don't get me wrong. But if you wouldn't give your money to a doctor who constantly belittles his employees (not in a constructive criticism way, in a "you're a f***ing tranwreck" kind of way. Those were some of his exact words to me in my last days working there) then I wouldn't give your money to this one. The amount of times my coworkers and I have been reduced to blubbering, teary-eyed messes over his constant trash talk, and his manipulative way of pitting us against each other, is uncalled for. Working as a tech, I frequently had the misfortune of listening to him vent about how "dumb" his receptionist was, when in fact, according to my own observation, she was one of the more intelligent people who worked there. Anyway, I digress. Furthermore, he somehow had us all so deep under his spell that when I asked my coworkers if working anywhere else would be better, they all unanimously agreed that working for ANY doctor is like that. Now that I'm working at a different office in a different city altogether, the difference is truly night and day. I have NEVER been treated as poorly by any employer as I have by Dr. Noel, let alone cursed at, screamed at, used as a target for projectile eye-drop bottles, et cetera. With all of that being said, this is a review from a scorned ex-employee, so take it with a grain of salt. If the way someone treats their employees isn't a concern to you, that's great. But all of my words are truthful.

Loved there service very helpful and the Dr took extensive time to talk with me and make…read morerecommendations.

When I was checking out the gal said it's going to cost you $360 with your insurance but I can get you a discount if we go out of network. That statement right there gives me the impression Im in network but its cheaper if we go out of network. Come to find out I was NEVER IN NETWORK. Why in the hell would I want to get glasses out of network. They knew I was out of network and purposely did not tell me because they knew I wouldn't do business with them. With my insurance it will cost me $180. They charged me $250. They have 2 choices, either honor my insurance or refund me fully so I can go to an in Network. DO NOT GO HERE. THIS COMPANY DOES SHADY BUSINESS!!!

At no point was I told the exam would be telehealth or that seeing an in-person doctor would cost an extra $29 even with insurance. After taking time off work and arriving early, I was given completely different information by the office staff -- including that my insurance was not accepted. The inconsistency between phone staff and in-office staff is unacceptable and misleading. This visit was a total waste of time.

I'm new to Yelp but not new to eye doctors. I've had glasses and or contacts most of my life. I've…read morebeen seeing Dr Zanella for a few years now. The office is conveniently located and the staff is courteous and professional. I've never had any issues with my insurance even though I changed jobs and hence, insurance companies. I love the fact that they offer Optimap so I don't have to get the horrid eye drops. Also doing away with the nasty puff of air check is wonderful. Dr Zanella is very pleasant and caring. She takes the time to make sure any questions I have get answered. I've seen her husband a couple of times also and his bedside manner is just like hers. He is straightforward and doesn't try to talk you into stuff you don't need. I personally prefer to see her but they are both great. They are a great team and I highly recommend them and their office.

The office feels like a high-end boutique when you walk in, and I'm always offered water or coffee while I wait. Their technicians are just as friendly and the office has all the latest technology to care for your eyes, and they offer suggestions to aid my overall eye health, and I don't feel like they're just collecting my payment and moving on. On my last visit, there was a delay, and the Doctor actually had the assistant give my a Starbucks gift card for my wait. They also have an assortment of frames, so you can get everything done in one stop. I am definitely a satisfied client.

My vision is pretty bad - astigmatism and 5.somethings in both eyes. I went in to this local office…read morefor contacts and glasses since the readers weren't cutting it anymore. I have spent a hefty amount on office visits, contact fittings, 2 rounds of eye dilations and the lens and frame. It's been a non-stop process for about a month now. I went in on Thursday for an eye dilation to help my eyes "adjust to the prescription" and I have worn either the glasses or contacts religiously. I am still not adjusting. I am not driving since I don't feel comfortable. I just called and they can't see me until the 22nd (dr is going on vacation) and said they will check but I might have to pay another visit fee. Is this all normal or do they just suck? The contacts are a little better distance wise but it just doesn't feel "clear". Vision is worse than before and my bank account is down $700.

I got my glasses filled elsewhere using the prescription they gave me, and I realized within just a few days that I still could not see clearly. The prescription simply wasn't right. I called Vista Eye to get the issue corrected, since it had only been one week since my exam. Instead of showing concern or offering to recheck the prescription, they told me I would need to pay another $60. I was shocked. I expected a clinic to stand behind the accuracy of its exam, especially within such a short time frame. I left feeling frustrated and unheard. The whole situation came across as more about collecting fees than providing patient care. I regret going here and I would not return. There are many optometrists in the Fort Worth / Keller / Timberland / Heritage area who are far more compassionate and supportive. If you value customer care and accuracy, I recommend looking elsewhere before choosing Vista Eye.
