I recently had a dentist try to tell me I had an obscene amount of cavities and that they had to go in and fill 10 teeth which the year before I only had one on watch. I thought it was a bit excessive so I took my bite x-rays to Dr. Blecha for a second opinion. He's honest and takes the time to explain things to you so you understand your options which is appreciated. He only had to fill 3 of the supposed 10 I had. It's the day I got them done and they feel great - which sometimes can be a bit sensitive afterwards. Very down to earth and great with patients. Highly recommended!

Fought with insurance and eventually got them to pay all of their share and even most of mine. I had a refund due of $121.50. Not only did the practice not notify me for 2 months, they tried to tell me I owed them an additional $121.50. Finally got them and insurance on the line and got them to refund to my original credit card used. Next day Omaha Oral Surgery calls me and says they didn't process the refund and "the check's in the mail and maybe you'll get it in about 15 days". Horrible way to do business. Cash flow issues? (Also told me I couldn't pick up the check)

I was surprised they were able to schedule me with such short notice, as a new client I managed to get a next day appt. I have to commend their customer service at the front desk, as well as, in the patient rooms. There was no shaming for not flossing or the gap it's been since my last visit - no nonsense and I can't tell you how much that's appreciated. Special mention to Angie, she was not only personable but did her job very well. We had great conversations even though I could barely talk during our meetings.

I had a few concerns with the program (pain, because I don't handle it well, being in braces at my age, and I knew it would be a big expense). After the consultation with Dr Rising(Tony the tiger GGGRRREAT dentist), and chatting with Amy at the front desk over the course of a couple visits about my concerns, I decided to go for it. I am SSSSOOOOO happy I made the decision to do 6 month smile!! I could not be happier! Best money I have Ever spent on myself, and I will have this beautiful smile for life. I smile at myself in the mirror every chance I get now...and windows I walk by! The pain was very very minimal. Actually only had pain twice for a few hours. Most people didn't even notice the braces which gave me confidence while wearing them, and I could not thank Dr Rising and Kendra(my main sidekick through the process) enough on the day they came off!! I love, love, love this office and the staff! It's almost like being with friends as soon as I walk in the door. They take an interest in your life and actually remember their clients and things about them! However, our main issue was with the way treatment and costs were communicated. My husband was verbally told that his insurance would cover certain procedures and trusted what he was told. He didn't fully read the paperwork he signed, which acknowledged understanding the risks, costs, and that he would be responsible for payment upfront. Unfortunately, this was not clearly explained, and the written agreement did not match the verbal information he received. When we called to clarify, the office was unhelpful and seemed confused, stating that they only provide estimates and do not handle insurance directly. This left us feeling misled, as the information we were given in person suggested otherwise. For someone who relies on verbal explanations, this experience was frustrating and, in our opinion, not transparent. We ultimately decided to cancel the appointment and will not be returning. While the staff was courteous and scheduling was convenient, the lack of clear communication about insurance and costs made this a negative experience.

It seems like this clinic nickels and dimes. Their work isn't that great of quality, and they push…read moreunnecessary, or more expensive procedures. They twice told me I needed a crown instead of fillings. I got one of the crowns done, and then switched insurance to a very expensive one so on Jan 1st I'd be able to get the other one done. (They were not happy I wanted to wait a month and a half to get a crown). I saw a new dentist in January and he said I just needed a deep filling, and looked over my X-rays and said I never needed the first crown. They upsold me on a laser gum treatment and told me insurance would cover it.... It covered $40? I paid the remaining $150 out of pocket. I also got a bill from them 7 months post service saying insurance didn't cover something. When I looked at my insurance, it was denied for failure to submit the claim in a timely fashion. It took 3 phone calls before I finally said: "it looks like it was denied because it wasn't submitted by your staff on time, is that what you're seeing on your end" and magically the bill disappeared. Great personalities, terrible people, terrible treatment.

I came here for a needed crown and had 2 amalgam fillings removed in 2021. Unfortunately they were…read morenot careful in the removal process and I now have palladium/mercury poisoning and need to have chelation IV therapy to remove the heavy metals in my blood due to a chronic high platelet count. My platelet count was fine prior to my visit with Dr Hascall. My hematologist now wants to do a bone marrow biopsy to check for cancer. Stay far alway from this place for any removal of old fillings. Also, Dr Hascall seemed to be more concerned if I was fully vaxxed, which was none of his business.

The front desk staff is amazing and make you feel really welcome (almost like you've known them your entire life)...Also I'm so happy with my hygienist Lisa... She is so awesome... I have been to numerous Dental providers over the years and have had some Bad hygienists and Dental visits in general. We love coming here, they know you by name and are so friendly! Even after moving this year we plan on making the long distance drive back to Omaha to see Dr. Smith!
