Definitely a great place to go. I went here about a week ago with a stock Mitsubishi Radio and wanted a new one. Over the phone I called many places where they would charge at least 250-300 for a full radio replacement and installation. At Walters I got exactly what I wanted plus installation for a total of 150$. It took them maybe 15 minutes to replace and they even had a cool place to sit and watch tv or browse the store. Spoke to Walter regarding a stereo installation for this Sunday. He said he does not take appointments but could meet us at the shop at 9am on Sunday since he was not going to be there on Saturday. This was a Christmas present and I was super excited to get this new head unit installed....even willing to set my alarm to make sure we were on time. Well...Walter never showed up. I took in my mustang to remove my amplifier(something that only takes a couple minutes) out since I was trading in the car that day. $50 to unplug 5 wires and cap them, and I had to wait 2 hours until they were done with the car that had just arrived same time as I did. Sad to see the poor customer service. Goodluck on trying to get out of there on time. Go across the street, $20 and I was out in 5 minutes. read more

This was the best place I found and all the reviews where right. I took a OEM navigation and android head unit with a back-up camera 200 dollars great service and good work done especially since there was no instruction manual the camera works great had to get it adjusted but other then that all works great. I wanted an extra boom boom in the hooptie right. My cheap butt said self I am gonna piece this system. So I started out with youtube videos doing my research in all. So I got my sounds together. In the meantime I was searching for places to install this equipment. Some places I found were right on the money but further then I wanted to go. I found this gem of a spot and he hook a brotha up. Now I did want a 10 inch ported but all he had was 12 inch ported box so I rock a JBl in truck and up front also JBL my fronts I can hear words clear. I put a 5 channel BOSS amp to power the whole system. I don't turn it pass 12-15 if I am playing pandora. Glass is dancing to some rap music. Depends on the songs. I am happy with it. The only negative is the box takes up truck space if you have little to start with. But you check him out good prices I am more then happy with my system. And I can say I did help cause I research pick out what I wanted. Brought to him he did the work. I would tell friends to go to him good service. I took my 1997 Nissan Maxima (second utility car) to Walter's Stereo to get the stereo head unit replaced. The original, factory radio with cassette player still worked but the LCD display was sun bleached and unreadable. The stereo always just sounded OK. I finally decided to have it replaced. About 15 years ago, I did install my own speakers in the back and also put in a nicer amp in the trunk. I can't say that I did a great job wiring it, but it worked. I was a bit nervous of the cost to have a new head unit installed and feared that all of the wiring would need to be redone. The guy at the shop found a great JVC head unit that has a USB port and a CD player. They hooked it up in practically no time for an all-in cost of $150. He said that my wiring was fine. I drove out of there with my iPhone hooked up to the stereo jamming to Google Music. The sound system sounds phenomenal now! This was the best $150 I have ever spent. I can't recommend this place enough. I am happy with the price and the service was second to no one. Many thanks! read more

Bought a Sony stereo along with all speakers and a sub about 2 years ago. Recently I began having issues with the cigarette lighter and radio cutting off when I used either off them at the same time. I searched online and found out that sometimes the installation of an aftermarket radio will short with the lighter. I went to Walter and explained my concern, he eased me by saying usually the cigarette lighter is faulty and since on the same fuse will cut out. I had to purchase the part which was easy and cheap he told me what to get and where, installed if in less than 20 mins, no more problems. What a great shop, $30 for labor $8 parts. Beware of cheap price. Original install was low quality. Customer service was lousy. The store advertises a warranty but even the very next day I was not able to use that warranty to fix the bad install, which basically makes it pointless.
