We entered and there was live music! We sat at the bar and a young man greeted us and started pouring. We talked about the wines and how the bar was started. We enjoyed the wines - some were actually very nice and a couple had a good 10+ years of aging! My better half had a full glass after, I had a local IPA. We liked it so much, we bought a couple bottles and we joined their wine club! It was such a pleasant place - I wish we had a place like that here in our town. Highly recommended! I almost forgot - their wines are very reasonably priced and they're also well made with very good grapes!

They bring the wine pre-poured in mini-carafe's (I'm sure there's a proper name for them), and include a "blind" pour that if you guess correctly, you win a prize (which I did not.) The outside area is spectacular, with trees for shade, the views for miles, and the feel of being somewhere special. Service was OK, they bring you pre-poured if you sit outside, and they may check back in on you if they aren't too busy. It seemed our server was on the new side, and she told us 4 times she had only been there a few days. Inside, I think it might be a more traditional experience, but can't confirm. There is also a good-sized seating area inside - and you're able to see the other vintage/varietals available for purchase. Wines by the glass are available, but not for everything, and only for bottles they have already opened. I wanted to try their Sangiovese, but they weren't pouring it, and bummer they didn't have one open to taste - I would have loved to try it. I recommend (based upon my palate) the Abbot's Table and the Sinister Hand (fun background story as well). I didn't care for the rose - it was sweeter than I prefer. Regardless, come visit and you're bound to find something to suit your taste. So why 4-stars? I just have high expectations of servers when I'm tasting wine, and I didn't get the feeling that ours knew the product well, so I didn't feel like I would get much education (which is part of why I, myself, enjoy wine tasting - to learn something new).

We pull up, and the winery looks very inviting with great tables and a definite Western theme. The staff is very friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about their wines. The tasting for the 5 wines had a $10 price tag and it was well worth it. We happened to come visit during an annual event where the riders and horses get dressed up and visit many of the wineries in the area. Such a beautiful place to kick back enjoy the day. To our great delight, we found that there had been 12 prior and that this year would be celebrating the 13th one! We mosied on down on a Saturday afternoon, with some friends in tow. We found an amazing meeting of some of the most delicious Mexican food we've had since time started. The event is held a long one of the main streets in downtown Wapato and encompassed about three blocks worth of real estate. The different stands where everything from local favorites, two food trucks, two people making tamales as part of fundraisers for different organizations. Many of the places also served street style tacos, Indian tacos and one guy was even roasting some boss looking chicken One of the stands with selling a number of different beverages including Horchata, strawberry lemonade and a number of different juices, each one of which we sampled was delicious. I'll food items range between a dollar and five dollars, with most of them being in $1.50 range. Everything we had here was good and it was really nice to be able to move around from stand to stand, sampling the different tamales. By the end of the afternoon we doll eaten roughly the Weight of one of our arms in tamales, and it was so good! The DJ that was in the center of the festival did a great job keeping things lightly, and while we didn't stay for the voting, I believe there was a best of show type event. The only thing that would make this better is if there were a king or queen of tamales crowned, and it included any and everyone from the community. Based on the offerings that were available, I would imagine that the stuff that people make at home in the area is absolutely mind blowing. Well worth checking out in something that we will be planning on going to on a yearly basis!

The stadium is set up great for small town baseball. The seats are comfy, there are no bad views and the food is surprisingly good! Hub's grill is our favorite spot with grilled goodness options including the cowboy burger! The garlic fries are legit as well. The beer selection is local and brilliant, and pairs nicely in the huge plastic souvenir bats! There are nice picnic areas throughout the park, including lqrge gathering spots in both right and left fields. Summer nights east of the mountains are meant for baseball and this is a great spot to watch it!
