Pastries made in house. TRY THE BLUEBERRY LEMON SCONE! The salted caramel latte was fabulous however be prepared for salt sprinkled on top. You almost miss it when you drive by but it's surprisingly large when you get inside.

I've been curious about Wandering Goat for a while so whilst I was running errands sans child I stopped since I didn't have to worry about getting her out (or back in, which can be a more difficult task). It's a small place but has quite a few tables in and outside; there is about twice as much outdoor seating as indoor. I ordered a chai, but they made me a regular latte--thankfully I had only gotten down the block before I tasted it and figured that out. They remade the drink, though I expect I paid more for it than I would have if it was just a chai (they didn't offer a price adjustment) but I didn't think about that until later. Their chai is interesting. They have a sweet and unsweetened one, apparently. It's not like anything I've ever tried before, so it's cool they have a totally unique blend. I got half sweet, since I wasn't sure how sweet it might be. I was surprised that it tasted very floral, perhaps rose? Very perfumey. My sister wanted to try it as well and she remarked that it smelled like perfume as well, and I had not mentioned that to her since I wanted to see what she thought without my input. It's not a chai that I'd probably try again but I was happy enough to drink the one I had. They have no wifi, so don't want to forget to mention that since folks generally expect it anywhere now--perhaps especially at coffee shops. So if you're planning to come here and do some work, make sure that it's offline. It's also important to note that they don't have a drive-through and parking is very very limited--they may have a couple in a the lot next door to the place, but for the most part you'll be looking at street parking.

Awesome vibes at the Goat. One of the best community hubs in Eugene. Delicious wholesome vegan food and fantastic beverages. Honest and ethical coffee. Great crew.

I came here with a friend for the first time today, we had a good experience! The barista was really friendly and gave some good recommendations. My friend liked her blueberry lemon loaf and cappuccino. I thought the cold brew was pretty bitter, I would get a different drink next time. Vibes were really good though. Cute spot with lots of seating and chill music. I would come back here!

Wandering Goat has my favorite coffee. Their borgia is so good! I also love their vegan biscuits and gravy. The ambience has changed little over the years. This is a quiet place to go if you are looking for for a place to sit and read or get work done. Be aware that they do not have WiFi so plan accordingly.

Spacious, clean, friendly staff, good prices and options. Pastry was nice (cinnamon roll & blackberry almond scone for the wife). They don't offer wifi which is not an issue just a mention. Nice little eclectic local coffee shop. Has a punk rock new age feel with soft techno/trance music. It's not loud it's a calming but not put you to sleep music. Really a fun vibe worth the trip if you are in Eugene. It has indoor and outdoor seating.

While my husband was grabbing some beer at Oakshire, I stopped in here because I heard they had loose leaf tea. They also have a really impressive coffee selection. The owner, Aaron, was super knowledgeable and was very helpful with all of my questions. I appreciate how they store their tea in airtight opague canisters to keep it fresh. They had a lot of variety for tea considering it is a coffee-focused place. I also got the drip coffee to try and it was very nice too! Didn't try the vegan pastries but maybe next time. There are a few food trucks around if you want a more hearty meal. I do wish there was inside seating and hopefully they will bring it back soon. In the meantime there is a fair amount of seating outside.

I really enjoyed the sense of humor, friendliness and helpful suggestions here. I ended up getting the cold brew that was spot on with just the right about of richness yet smooth enough to drink black. I got a snickerdoodle cookie to go with-to die for; as well as a day old ginger cookie that was excellent the next day - so 2 days old! My friend got a lovely looking chai that she said was tasty as well. This used to be a place I'd come to study in graduate school, and I saw a few students dotted throughout the inside, along with others from all walks of life. Now, 8 years later (had it really been that long?!), it was the perfect spot to meet up with an old friend-loved the music they played too. Keep it up Goat!

It is consistently one of the best coffee places around. One of my first memories of Eugene almost 20 years ago was stumbling into Wandering Goat, and a punk concert broke out. It was awesome! Today, I sat outside in the sun and had an iced brown sugar spice almond milk latte, and it was perfection! I've had their vegan biscuits and gravy in the past, and its awesome! Pro tip: go to Mothers food cart right next door and grab one of the best breakfast sandwiches around.

I tried the mocha with orange zest. It was a delicious adventure! The earl grey cookie was also very yummy. The vibe was super chill here and I was able to do some journaling.

It's not like going to a bad bar or even restaurant where you still can eat a few hours later. Coffee has a small window and a maximum amount of intake. That being said, this morning we chose wisely. Not only did we use Yelp but we backed up our decision with a google search and that took us to Reddit. Equiano was a top suggestion on both sites. And we understand why. The service was 100% top notch. Helpful. Friendly and knowledgeable, not only about what they offered but about the regions best shops! The coffee itself was very expressive. The Camaroon was totally my style with an earthier tone and the Chai was delightful. The outdoor seating was so very comfortable with a unique sort of panache that I would love to have at my neighborhood coffeeshop. The raked gravel was a nice touch. And even though they didn't have indoor seating with the drizzly day, it was a highlight that I will be repeating in our future travels.

The service was friendly and they have a welcoming little space that doesn't feel too crowded and feels nice to linger in. BUT the thing I can't get past is the price. I thought maybe because they make many of their ingredients or because it could be organic or gluten-free or something that drives the cost up? But then I looked at other comparable places around town: also locally-owned and homemade-focused. CPR is still way more expensive! $7.50 for a 12-ounce mocha PLUS $1.25 to sub oat milk. That's $8.75 for a small drink. The most I can find alternative milk costing per drink is $0.75 in town. No matter how good your food is or how much you've put into it, I cannot justify spending $8.75 for a 12 ounce treat more than once or twice a year. I'm sorry I can't visit more often. :(

Food portions are huge and so is the building surprisingly, so there's a pretty good amount of seating too (especially compared to other cafes in the area). The parking lot is a little narrow to navigate but I'm mostly grateful that they even have a lot. I think their tempeh is very delicious and flavorful, kind of a sweet maple-y vibe, and again, can't emphasize how big the size of everything was compared to my usual expectations. Their menu is pretty vegetarian friendly and they have pastries, breakfast options, smoothies etc. Price is on the higher side but I do think you get what you pay for. Also tried their seasonal lavender pistachio latte and the regular chai, both drinks were really nice. They don't have a huge variety of flavors in the coffee menu (2 house made syrups) but I was still happy with there being a fun seasonal option. It's decorated well and I love the tall ceilings. Would come again!
