I have been here often and had excellent experiences each time. Food has always been reliably good,…read moreand service has always be great. It has a really nice vibe, and the decor is lovely. They are doing a wonderful job, and I am so, so glad they didn't come and go like the other restaurants in that spot before it. You probably knew that from the other reviews, but I have another reason I am writing this. I came here with my husband one night months ago, and he got a cocktail that had cherry and bourbon as the main flavors. I stole most of it from him :D. It was so good that every time I get another cocktail somewhere else, even if it is good, I just wish it was the cherry bourbon one. So, if you're there and they still have it on the menu, I suggest you get it. And if the establishment is reading this, my vote is to keep that one around.

We got our little buzzer and we were told to stay within a half mile. We sat outside across the street on a bench. We watched numerous groups of 3+ go in and not come back out, which means they were seated. When, after 40 minutes, we were called in, none of those groups were at the bar. Kinda makes you wonder. We ordered cokes. $5 each and got refills, but when the bill came was shocked to be charged for every refill! We spent more on cups of Coke than the actual effing meal!!! Ordered the steak medium. It was rare. Oh well, was hungry and didn't want to wait any longer. But it was good. Buffalo chicken cheese curd fries were good, but chicken was dry. The cheesecake was not tasty at all. The burger was "mid," according to my son.

Saturday night is date night for us. We live an hour from here and had eaten here a long time ago…read more As we live in a smaller town, most of our dinner dates are local places where we seldom even have to look at the menu to know what we want. Tonight, I was in the mood to try somewhere else and suggested we eat here. We are both so grateful we decided to drive to Lincoln. The drive across the Kancamagus makes it an enjoyable drive to get there and home.. Now onto dinner. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs, and even helped when we had questions, as they know their dishes well. My wife chose the Burrata Chicken dish , and was very happy with her choice. For me, I chose The Sweet Corn, Bacon Ravioli ..This meal was so flavorful and was beyond what I was expecting. As we took 1/2 our meals home and a load of their bread, this meal was one of the better meals we've had and yet, the price for this dinner was about the same as we'd spend most anywhere else.

A complementary bread basket that included garlic dusted dinner rolls, and a couple slices of blueberry lemon bread, which were delicious. I overheard the waitress telling another patron that the blueberry lemon bread was available for purchase, so I made sure to take one to go. I was very disappointed when I went to eat it a few days later, that the bread I received was not the same as the one that was in the bread basket. It had no lemon flavor and it was crumbling apart. My husband ordered chicken tenders, which were fine. Dessert was so yummy. It was a brownie sundae with incredible hot fudge. I would definitely return or visit another of their locations.

The final dinner of our vacation. Was hoping it was going to be the best meal of the trip, but…read moresadly it wasn't. It started out on a high note - the beet salad was excellent. Roasted beets, feta and walnuts over mesculin greens. It was dressed with a flavorful maple balsamic vinaigrette. My husband and I both ordered the Karen cuts of prime rib done medium. The entrees arrived well past medium, which there should be no excuse for at 5 pm. The vegetable of the day was corn on the cob, which was as you would expect, overcooked and mushy. We splurged on dessert of chocolate mousse, which was unremarkable. It wasn't our worst meal of the trip, but definitely wasn't the best either. Final note, some of the tables have these giant chairs, shown in my pictures, that are too low (I told the waitress I might need a booster seat) and too heavy to even move yourself. My husband had to get up and push my chair closer to the table. I'd rate it no higher than 3.5 and since I can't give half stars, I will give a 4 because the salad was so good. Do better with your prime rib, since it seems to be what customers brag about, though I'm not sure why.

Very crispy and not chewy. Id recommend avoiding the potato skins, the only thing ive ever gotten that lacked flavor other than that everything's delicious. Service is always excellent , Shane , the bartender is very consistent. Really ive never had a bad experience. The vibe is romantically dark but with a NH ski lodge appeal. I wouldn't change a thing. Will be back soon!
