I visited this restaurant in Littleton, NH just off of I-93 this evening. The restaurant is conveniently located, there is plenty of free parking, the restaurant is decorated fairly well on the outside and inside, no one greeted me upon entering and no employee even noticed me entering and waiting to be seated for a couple minutes, my server was not friendly, the vibe of the place was not very pleasant, the steak, garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli were "okay", but the steak, in particular, was not very good, the prices of food items were reasonable, the dining room was basically clean and neat, my table was clean, there were several TV monitors with sports playing, and the service was pretty good. read more

Horrible. We had been there in over a year but decided to try the all you can eat meals. Riblets were all bone. Chicken tenders were cold and like a kids meal. We didn't even eat any shrimp, paid the bill and went somewhere else for dinner. They offered us a gift card and turned it down. My wife and I stopped in today for a quick bite. We chose Applebees to see if things had improved since our last visit.The server behind the bar, Taylor, had absolutely no personality at all. She took our order without ever saying a word without any greeting what so ever. Then, we ordered appetizers and a sandwich to go. They brought our , to go order, way before our appetizers. We have been choosing 99 over applebees for a while and really prefer the environment better. I have been a patron of this establishment for years. Most visits are decent and what you would expect when visiting an applebees. Unfortunately today has pushed me to the point where I will not be returning. The manager was present, friendly and served us more than our waitress. Unfortunately Marcy R. Was absent for most of our time there. She took our order than disappeared after 10 mins arrived with only half the order. After our food was served to us from the manger we didn't see her at all. No check in, no refills occasionally she would wonder by and ignore us. Finally at the end of the meal she blessed us with her presence. I requested a refill, then off she went to not be seen for another 10 minutes, she came back and acted like she had no idea we had a conversation about a refill. At that point I just told her not to bother and asked for the check, she scoffed then wondered off again. The manager needs a raise and the older waitress who has been there for years is amazing but maybe Marcy R. Should consider a new line of work. read more

We just ordered curbside at Applebees in Littleton NH my first shock was the tiny portion of chicken for almost $16 then I tried the mashed potatoes which were good, only had a few pieces of shrimp with it but mostly they must have reheated the blackened chicken about ten times as the meat was so dry I couldn't eat it or chew it for that matter. I have it two stars only because the garlic potatoes and the shrimp were tasty. All in all you owe me a do over Applebee's. read more

Did you know that vodka martinis are made with water? Me either... Otherwise, typical Applebee's, service is usually good. It's usually not long of a wait to be seated even on a weekend night because everyone prefers to go to the Ninety Nine across the street. Probably because they don't water down drinks that have no other ingredients besides liquor. read more

I usually hate Applebee's but this one proved me wrong. There was a bit of a wait, but we were seated in a decent time. Our server Caleb was amazing. He was attentive and kept checking on us. Went there while waiting for our snow tires to be put on at Towne Fair Tire. The auto place gave us a coupon for a free appetizer, and since they were right next door, we figured why not! I'm not really a fan, but that's what was in the area within reasonable walking distance. It was pretty cozy inside and the host actually opened the door when we walked in... What great service to begin with! The decor was simple and typical, not too much of a crowd for a Friday night. We had the nachos which were pretty good. Then he ordered the surf and turf, which looked great, but seemed a little overdone and pricey for Applebees. But the barbeque shrimp was yummy. We ordered no drinks. We kept it simple and had water with lemon. The waitresses switched shifts while we were eating, then the service seemed to go downhill from there. Well its Applebees, typical chain restaurant, typical atmosphere, typical, typical, typical. Only good thing is the large draft beers.

A quick trip to Littleton brought my father, brother, and I to the most American dining establishment, Applebees, on Meadow Street, for a quick lunch. My Father led off with the Fully Loaded Chicken Fajitas, and I'm talking 1600 Calories loaded. June was quickly turning into bulking season. I challenged the Bourbon Street Steak, extra bourbon, and won. My brother passed on the Rack of ribs and settled for some abomination called the "Riblet Platter", which is essentially ribs served already broken off the rack for you. Typical Lib-Cuck Bernie Sanders loving selection by my brother. He doesn't have that Blue-Collar wrist strength to snap off the ribs himself so he needed the Applebees Master Chef to do it for him. Anyways, as you can expect from dining in the agriculturally rich parts of Northern New Hampshire, the food was phenomenal. After our meal, we moved to the bar. Great atmosphere. Spirits were pouring, and spirits were high, despite dental hygiene being low. The patrons were an animated bunch, laughing, and flashing the last couple sunshine-struck incisors that remained. After a RedSox home run, a man, Dustin, who strictly goes by "Dubba", I don't know why, but probably not professional reasons bought me a Well Tequila Shot. The tequila shot tasted like it might have come from an actual well, but it got the job done. After a few more innings we were three sheets to the wind, and it was time to go home. On our way out a man introduced himself as Bubba and asked for a lighter. A Dubba and a Bubba at the same eatery? Amazing. 5-Stars for that alone. Also highly recommend this Applebees if you're a dentist. I'll make sure to come back to this fine restaurant next time I'm around, Thanks. read more

Usually good service, and almost always friendly. A couple specific events ... They've shorted us on Carside-to-Go orders a couple times within the last year. One issue was simply a baked potato. We ordered via the website as a side, but the store later stated it's not offered at their location. Instead of contacting us, or swapping, they just didn't include any side in the bag ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Another time we 'at in' and paid via the tabletop, tablet-style device. Being that I was the only black person entering the restaurant I already felt uncomfortable. Everyone kept passing me and not asking if I need help. Finally one of the servers come and tell me it's going to be 15 min wait. She asked for my number and said I should receive a text. I waited that 15 mins getting gas, NO text. Came here last weekend with some friends to grab a quick bite to eat before a movie. When we walked in, the hostess said it would be about a ten minute wait. There was one person ahead of us. Shortly after, two other parties, one being rather large, came in. My friends went to the bathroom and came back and told me they weren't sure as to why there was a long wait because they'd seen at least seven clean, empty tables. The start of our poor experience began when our hostess proceeded to then seat the tables that came in after us. After twenty minutes, we were finally seated. We asked for our drinks and said we were just going to get appetizers and were in a bit of a hurry. The waitress asked if we were going to have separate bills, and we said yes. The wait to get drinks was so long, we had to stop our waitress and ask if they were forgotten. Then, when we received them, they were incorrect. Tried to flag her down again to no avail. We were in such a rush and so hungry, we used the machine to get our food. My one friend's food came out quickly, but my other friend and I waited 25 more minutes. By this time, we had to leave, so we asked for boxes for food we didn't get a chance to enjoy. Our dipping sauces also did not come, and we didn't even bother to ask because finding someone was like pulling teeth. Our waitress only showed up once to deliver boxes and our bill, which was not on separate checks despite the fact that she asked if it would be at the beginning of our meal. The only reason this review got 2 stars is that the food, when I got the chance to eat it, was consistently good and the poor service wasn't the kitchen's fault. I was surprised and disheartened, usually this location offers good service. I learned my lesson and will skip this place for dinner since it is clear their staff can't handle a "rush." To be honest, it wasn't even that busy. I'd go back, but not at dinner, and I was in a rush or I would have asked for a manager. Came in on a slow Sunday afternoon and sat in the bar side at a hi-top table. Longer than average wait time for the bartender to take our order. Once the food was delivered we never saw her again, no refills, no asking if everything was ok. She missed out on some serious cocktail revenue as well as additional food purchases. I had to practically make a scene to get our bill. So, because of the really poor service and microwaved food I don't feel the need to ever go back or to recommend Applebees of Littleton to anyone. I most say I had good time while I was here. I ate their after the dinner rush hour. I was tired from the long day at work and our bartender took care of us with our food and our drinks. It Was Right Out Front, Really I was in Littleton for the Highland Games weekend, staying at the Hampton Inn. I had arrived a bit later that I had expected, not a big deal, but it meant that my exploration tine for a place for dinner was limited. As luck would have it, there is an Applebee's Restaurant located right in front of the Hampton Inn. After getting changed from my drive, it was a quick walk to the Applebee's for dinner, close and convenient. Raspberry Iced Tea is a favorite of mine and it was still available making it my beverage of choice for the evening. I started the meal off with the Portsmouth Clam Chowder. Applebee's chowder has to be one of the best chain chowders I have had. It is nice and thick and creamy as chowder should be. There is just enough potato and clams. If I were to have a complaint about the chowder it would be that the bowl is a bit smaller than I would have liked. Next up for my main meal I went with the 8 oz sirloin this evening. The steak was cooked perfectly to my choice, medium rare, and was nicely seasoned and very tender. For sides I had the steamed broccoli and the Garlic Mashed Potatoes. The broccoli was cooked just to that point of crisp and not too soft. The garlic potatoes where just that loaded with garlic and butter, a nice compliment to the steak. Dessert was on my radar this night and I went with the Triple Chocolate Meltdown. A warm chocolate lava cake filled with a nice hot, thick fudge. A scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side and all drizzled with hot fudge. The cake was just the right temperature and the fudge filling oozed out after the first cut. The cake was soft, the fudge, well fudgy, and together they were a chocolate explosion in my mouth. The ice cream was good and the cold of the ice cream was great with the hot cake and fudge. A delicious combination. The restaurant itself had a very laid-back feel to it. My server was very friendly and right on top of things for my meal. I did not feel rushed and had a very enjoyable dinner. Thank you to the Littleton Applebee's staff for a relaxing dinner after a long drive. read more

Went in and they said "did you call ahead" explained to them we've been waiting for almost an hour and never received a text and They didn't give any reason why they didn't text us. I've ordered Carside-To-Go a half dozen times in recent weeks. This Applebee's hasn't been all that punctual. If you order using the app or their website they give a specific time indicating when your order will be ready. They even send a message to your phone asking you to click to let them know once you've arrived. When you do and if you're on time they still make you wait 10 minutes! They've also forgotten certain items with my orders, small stuff, but today they reached my limit. The salmon was nearly half the size it usually is and the sides were noticeably smaller as well. They even put the dinner in a smaller container this time - makes it appear full or normal. The Blackened Cajun Salmon dinner didn't include the lemon wedge, either. If the menu shows a lemon wedge on the seafood - the wedge should come with the meal without having to ask for it, right? Not this place! I've had the Blackened Cajun Salmon from here a half-dozen times in recent weeks and the dinners never even once had a lemon wedge included. I just realized this today when looking at the menu photo of the Blackened Cajun Salmon. I've had enough of this Applebee's b.s.. Time to move-on. read more

Been here before and the experience is always the same. Poor customer service. This time we walked in to a waiting person by the hostess station. So now there are 2 people waiting .... Then a third couple walks in. The whole time there are waitstaff and a bartender passing and NOT acknowledging us. By the time the bartender yells 'I'll be there to help you out in a second' we just decided to go to 99 across the street. Such a poor work ethic in Applebee's. They either need to get better management or smarter waitstaff ... Actually both would be better because compared to the crowd at 99; 99 blows Applebee's out of the water. read more
