    An array of flavors
    Camille W.

I loves me some Wanderlust. I've often made the drive to the Encino location but I'm so glad this is in the mall so I don't have to drive nearly as far. The concept for Wanderlust makes my little cultural anthropologist heart sing. I love being able to travel the world thru global flavors. Max was so sweetly patient with my mom and I as we sampled many, and I do mean many, flavors. I highly recommend keeping an eye peeled and your mind open because every month brings a set of new flavors. Frugal auntie tip: if you have Cash app, make sure to sign up for their rewards program so you can start earning free ice cream. There was a time earlier on this location wasn't connected to the rewards program and that honestly prevented me from coming here sooner. Take advantage of this please!

Love this place so much! Any ice cream shop that allows for basically a taste tester bowl (3 flavors in 1 cup) for a reasonable charge deserves applause. I've lost count of how many flavors I've tried, and even if I haven't liked them all, the flavor is on point for every one of them. If it says it's going to taste like a specific fruit/caramel/chocolate/coffee, it does! I love even more that every month they have lots of new flavors. Staff has been hit and miss (don't blame them as it's probably a lot of first time job teenagers that aren't being paid enough to deal with rude customers). Since it's in the mall, there's a lot of parking and a lot of seating available. It can get fairly loud and crowded but the ice cream is worth it. Creamy, fresh, and flavorful

I hate to disparage this place as I love their ice cream but I came to the Topanga social location with every plan to buy multiple pints of sapin sapin since it's Filipino history month and they only have this in October. Came prepared with a cooler bag with ice and everything. They were only able to sell me one because they only had ONE pint lid. I'm sorry but this is a really really really really lame administrative problem. She said they might have more in the back but she can't leave and that a coworker might be arriving in half an hour. I give 3 stars for the ice cream but have to dock 2 stars because this is just really a lame issue to have and prevented me from my plan to buy more ice cream.

July 2024 flavors were amazing. I didn't get the chance to write reviews before the month ended. Just trust that they develop great flavors!! That 3 scoops for the price of 1 couldn't have come at a better time - heatwave in the Valley. The following flavors are awesome! - Abuelita malt crunch - Buontalenti - Koldskal - Vietnamese Rocky Road - Earl Grey Milk Chocolate The staff tried to helped me with the digital points tracker issues. Topanga Social is a great location. Always seems to be running out of flavors though. I'm not sure if their ice cream gets made here or delivered from the another location, e.g. Tarzana, but this location seems to be popular.

Wanderlust has several locations in SoCal. Of course it's only appropriate to have one located at Topanga Social in the Westfield Topanga Mall in Canoga Park. Find them next to B Sweet. There's plenty of indoor self seating options & tables at Topanga Social. Who doesn't love Ice Cream?! Even though I'm a bit dairy sensitive, I will still Scream for Ice Cream! Haha. I Love how the vast majority of their flavors are Asian Inspired. The owners know what they're doing, incorporating all these different flavors & styles that you don't usually see at an ice cream shop. They have their Signature Flavors available & also offer Seasonal Flavors. The Seasonal Flavors change, so it's best to check their website or IG for an updated menu. A few of my Signature favorites are the Ube Malted Crunch & the Japanese Neapolitan... I can't wait to try some of the new Seasonal Flavors. I had good & friendly service from a young fellow. I appreciate that he put on new gloves before scooping the ice cream. It's the little, big things :)

Can never go wrong with this place. We normally go to the one down on Ventura and Reseda and I would ALWAYS buy pints of their Thai tea flavor which has been gone for so long! I think it might have been discontinued but I hope they bring it back at some point. There's never a line whenever we come to this location and it's a quick and easy service. Lots of seating available and flavors are on point! Such a unique variety of flavors that you don't typically find anywhere else. I highly recommend the Ube Malt Crunch and the Sapin Sapin if it's in season (usually during Filipino heritage month). Their Pandan is also another great flavor. Honestly, they are all super delicious, creamy, and really hits the spot. The Topanga Social is a great spot to enjoy this ice cream!! Good vibes, loud music, great company. Always enjoy coming here with friends and family. IG: @ammysalamii

Wow, I was really shocked by how delicious this ice cream was. We tried the mango sticky rice flavor, absolutely stunning! It was light and fresh, not too sweet, and hit all of the traditional "mango sticky rice" flavors. We went a little after 12pm, 7/30, and the young man helping us was joyful, sweet and did wonderful at his job. I really appreciate this kind of service!! This ice cream spot is located in the Topanga Social area, super beautiful, artsy and a fun area to hang out in! Can't wait to come again!

Mango Sticky Rice + Ube Malted Crunch + Kinder (Trio Sampler)
    Nick P.

Really enjoyed Wanderlust Creamery. Hubby and I ate a quick lunch at Topanga Social and wanted to end our afternoon with a sweet treat. We ordered the trio sampler for $8. The flavors we got were the Ube Malted Crunch, Kinder, and Mango Sticky Rice. All of the flavors were very unique. We were impressed with the Mango Sticky Rice since it had mango bits in it. The Kinder was very nice and chocolatey. The Ube Malted Crunch was the best. The ube flavor was very prominent and the texture was great. Very solid ice cream spot and service is impeccable. The staff is extra friendly and helpful with samples!

Sticky rice mango ($6 for a scoop)

Haven't heard anything about this ice cream place until my daughter mentioned it to me. So here I am trying a mini single scoop of Sticky Rice Mango. First off, I find it pricey. $6 plus tax. I didn't taste the sticky rice nor the mango. And to say the least I am starving. What a disappointment! I will give it a try but not for awhile. Maybe I ordered the wrong one. The young gentleman who helped me was nice and helpful. Plenty of tables around to sit anywhere.

Sakura & Matcha, Earl Grey Milk Tea, & Viet Coffee
    Katie C.

I love ice-cream & I originally wanted to order a double scoop, but for some reason they don't offer that option anymore?? Im not sure why, so the worker suggested a tasting trio. My favorite flavor was the earl grey & chocolate because the earl grey was super fragrant! Never thought that combo would be so yummy! The viet coffee flavor was also strong & satisfying. Lastly was the matcha & sakura but it was too sweet & not much matcha taste. Not sure if I tasted specifically sakura either, so I think I would try something else next time. Service was quick & efficient though!

Love Wanderlust Creamery! This time, pistachio for me and suspiro de limena for him

We visited Topanga Social this past weekend as we've read good things about it online. Going in, I knew we would have ice cream from Wanderlust Creamery for dessert, as we have been fans for awhile (but this is our first time at this location). We usually frequent the Pasadena location as that is near our workplace. We love their different ice cream flavors inspired by travel, and especially love the month of October as it is Filipino American Month and they have all sorts of yummy takes on Filipino flavors! But since we've tried all of the seasonals (love the Halo-Halo and Sans Rival flavors they have this month, by the way), we tried something different... I had the pistachio puro flavor and my husband tried the suspiro de limena. I did like the pistachio as pistachios are my favorite. My husband thought his ice cream was a little too sweet though. I did knock off a star as there was only one staff that Sunday afternoon, and the line was getting pretty long. The service could have been better. Ambiance in the food hall was pretty cool though, much better than your regular food court. Super clean as well, the food hall had friendly staff going around, wiping tables and cleaning up.

    Ube neopolitan kinder and rocky
    Shay C.

The ice cream here is reallyyy goood!!! My favorite flavors are ube and kinder. My only complaint is the inconsistency with portions. Today's portion was soo small for $21.. its normally a bit bigger. If thats just addressed 5 stars !!

    Carmen L.

They have a lot of unique Asian favors, we got Thai tea boba and sticky rice with mango and both were good but the size is not big and it costs like 8 bucks; pretty expensive for an ice cream cup.

Single scoop split in a cone: Japanese Neapolitan and Hokey Pokey.

Not being familiar w the area and knowing I was headed to an outdoor mall, I called to see where they were. Jesse explained, I parked and found it relatively easy. He told me on the phone he was wrapping up his lunch, and would reopen shortly. By the time I parked and walked over, he opened. Omg! What an amazing place! The decor is amazing, the selections go on for days, cute gifts, a clean bathroom that was also fabulous! I'm a fan!!! Jesse offered ice cream samples and/or fudge. They also had cookies and candy. It was the kind of place you envision when you think of ice cream and candy. Willie Wonka-esque even. They had SO many amazing flavors. Jesse was super patient while i figured my life out. I'm currently stuck on this McConnells flavor that is from their See's collab, I admit that I was trying to create my own version of it. I did great! I did the banana w cookie butter and topped it w heath pieces. I was so impressed with Jesse, he asked how I wanted my scoops layered! Never been asked that. Ever! Kudos! Before ordering my treat I used and admired the restroom as well as their novelty gifts. I can see getting gifts here easily. Jesse was a really nice guy and told me it was their only store in California! He said there's one in vague ass but that they're concentrated in Florida. I'm honored to have had the experience. Next time I'm getting rum raisin!

I was very surprised at how good all the flavors were this time around! I almost got one of each. I mixed mine with coffee, chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. My toppings were the usual fruity pebbles, Kit Kat, mochi, and fresh strawberries. Sometimes I add a drizzle of condensed milk but they didn't have any at this location!
