Got the Luscious Dark (dark chocolate with brownies, peanuts, pecan, chocolate chips) and Peanut Butter Cup. Both were good, very sticky, and the ice cream base was good and tasty, but the textures were a bit grainy and really chunky (small chunks) -- kind of like pre-chewed texture-- wish the chunks were bigger so it was a nicer bite and mouth feel The service was fine, though they didn't necessarily offer samples. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience/decor was a little tacky-- and it was kind of a "throw everything" feel since they sold cookies, fudge, Rice Krispies, candies, etc-- and not sure if they were all good, seemed more like a sugar and sensory overload.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Jellycat Sardina!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute store![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My favorite thing about the store is that they carry a good amount of Jellycat stuffed toys. Some styles are marked up so just note. I still bought two anyway, the sardina and lemming. We bought 7 different scoops of ice cream and they all were just ok. Nothing exceptional. The server was patient while we rounded up all the kiddos ice cream choices.

Hands down one of THE best dessert places in all of LA! I personally recommend getting the create your own ice cream sandwich. I got chocolate chip and red velvet with praline ice cream sandwiched in between. It's the best bang for your buck around 11 bucks. Their ice cream is really great and every flavor is super delicious. If my wallet and stomach could I would eat everything in this store

Hasina helped me find lollipops that are better than what I had in mind.

I normally try to avoid this business because I fear wanting all the tasty things I can see inside through the front doors. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store is nice and full of tasty-looking options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Today, however, I was looking for some lollipops to give as gifts. This review isn't about an extensive candy selection. My review isn't even about the ice cream that is the primary product at this business. This review is for the young lady that helped me find what I was looking for--Hasina. After explaining what I was looking for, Hasina did everything she could to help me find something I'd like. The first 2-3 options didn't excite me. I was ready to leave, but then Hasina suggested some options at the front counter. At first, I wasn't excited that they weren't exactly what I had in mind. The reason I gave them a second thought, was because I saw how sad Hasina looked when she thought she had failed to help me find something I'd like. In the end, I left with two lollipops--a long swirly one, and a rock candy sucker. Both were actually better than what I had in mind. Thank you, Hasina. Your enthusiasm and friendliness is what sold me. 5 Stars!

Everyone was welcoming right away and offered us to sample anything we'd like. They also asked if we wanted toppings and never made us feel rushed. Sophia was the one who helped us and she was absolutely fantastic. Super friendly, patient, and genuinely made the visit enjoyable. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cool store with lots of stuff![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My pick...the Sloan's Original Hot Chocolate!

It's more than an ice cream shop! Colorful chandeliers, plushies forever, nostalgic purses, candies, fudge, and other things that make the young and old happy ~ happens here! If you want a decked out Sundae, OR a specialty treat such as the Sloan's Hot Bombs that are donuts filled with a scoop of ice cream (how dreamy!!), OR one of their "luxury" shakes, OR their original hot chocolate, these all make a perfect any-type-of-mood treat! This is a great place for a few photo ops too! My daughter and I spent time here playing with some of the toys, and laughing at some of their gift items. We just finished with lunch, so I am glad I stumbled into this place to satisfy my sweet tooth. I opted for the Sloans Original Hot Chocolate! It's smooth, not too sweet, marshmallow-y, and yummy. I can't wait to come back to try their other treats!

Super cute shop full of treats, sweets and cute toys! I got the Rocky road ice cream and the cookies and crème 1- the rocky road had chunks of almonds that tasted old and left a bad taste in my mouth. The cookies & cream had whole cookies on the inside but it was like chocolate chip cookies vs Oreos and it was an overload of cookie so I'd prefer less whole chunks of cookie. The service was excellent! I wanted to try other sweets so might swing by if I'm ever in town again

Almond Joy and Vincenzo's Nutella Vanilla Ice Cream

Surprisingly haven't tried this place till now! It always smells so overly sweet whenever we pass by one so it's honestly a huge turn off for me. I don't have much of a sweet tooth and would much rather have simple gelato or soft serve ice cream instead of these crazy concoctions. But! Our friends wanted to grab some ice cream from here so we figured why not try it? My bf and I ended up getting this Almond Joy one and Vincenzo's Nutella Vanilla Ice Cream. I went for the kiddie size which is a single scoop because I didn't want it get a crazy sugar rush at night (I did anyway and couldn't sleep LOL) and it was delicious!! Definitely sweet but the perfect single scoop for me. The almond joy also just tasted exactly like an almond joy and that one was way sweeter than the Nutella one! I loved the Nutella one and would definitely come back to have more of it. They sell other sweet treats like candy, chocolate, cookies and stuff like that. There are even toys and this weird life-like sleeping puppy that breathes (has a motor in it to look like it's breathing) honestly really creepy. They also have a restroom where the window frosts and defrosts depending on if it's being used or not. Unfortunately it doesn't work anymore according to the workers. Nice little shop to take your kids or anyone who has a sweet tooth. IG: @ammysalamii

I took my wife and friend here after eating at Larsen Steakhouse next door for some ice cream. I figure my wife would want her rocky road ice cream so it would be a great choice for dessert. They have alot of sweets and snack here so just be ready when you walk in for the temptation. Keep in mind that this place is in Woodland Hills so be prepare to pay a higher cost for the snacks. My wife loved her ice cream, she got it in a small cone. I also got a chocolate chip cookie, m&m cookie and brownies for my friend mom as well to go. The customer service here is very good, they were helpful and will explain things if you don't see the flavor you want. The decoration inside of this place is very nice as well. My score: Snacks/Dessert: 5 star, my wife loved her rocky road ice cream and my friend mom loved the cookies. Customer Service: 5 star, the staff are very friendly and will answer any of your questions. Parking: 5 star, there a parking structure where you can park and depending on the day it can be free for the first 90 minutes. Atmosphere: 5 star, the inside of this place is very nice and will make you feel like a kid in a candy store.

OMG, I'm in sugar heaven!!! This is a must ! [[HIGHLIGHT]]You have to bring your kids here just by walking by the smell was wow the place was gorgeous.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They had so many options of sweep things and the prices are so reasonable. . The girls that work here so sweet great service coming back again for sure .

I surprised my son with a visit to Sloan's! We called first but didn't get an answer and decided to go anyway and I'm glad we did! It wasn't too busy being it was late in the evening. We were welcomed as soon as we entered and in complete amazement! My son took off looking at all of the unique and old school candy throughout the store. There's such a fun and unique vibe here. I couldn't get over how many sweets and treats they had to offer. They have a ton of different ice cream flavors and toppings to choose from. I got a 3 scoop sundae with both a caramel praline ice cream and pistachio ice cream. It was so delicious! The ice cream was so smooth and creamy and fresh! My son got a sundae with some double chocolate ice cream and he devoured it! On my next visit, I'll definitely be getting some of their amazing fudge!

    Lots of sweets!

An ice cream shop I would have loved to take my kids to, although I would have probably spent a fortune with the sweets, stuffies, and toys. I enjoyed reading all their flavors - a mix of classic and inventive. It was hard not to order a freshly baked cookie with my scoops, but I had no room after eating dinner at Eureka. (Glad to find a flavor loaded with pb and cookies). Overall, this is a good spot to satisfy your sweet tooth.

The historic shop has a charming old-fashioned feel, and the service was friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Every mochi tasted incredibly fresh, with a soft, pillowy texture that showcased the craftsmanship behind each handmade piece. **Sho-Mochi: 5/5** One of Fugetsu-Do's signature creations, the Sho-Mochi was a true standout. The vibrant blue mochi was incredibly soft and chewy, while the silky white chocolate ganache filling delivered a rich, creamy sweetness that melted effortlessly on the palate. **Strawberry Anko Mochi: 4/5** The strawberry anko mochi featured a soft, pillowy wrapper filled with a blend of strawberry and smooth white bean paste, then topped with a hazelnut chocolate ganache that added a rich, nutty sweetness. Unfortunately, the strawberry filling tasted somewhat artificial, lacking the fresh, vibrant fruit flavor I was hoping for. **Green Tea Mochi: 5/5** My love for matcha made this an easy standout. Filled with smooth white bean paste infused with matcha, it offered a pleasant balance of earthy, slightly bittersweet notes and subtle sweetness. **Mango Mochi: 5/5** Bursting with natural mango flavor, this mochi was wonderfully refreshing from the very first taste. Its springy chew created a pleasantly airy, satisfying texture, while the gentle sweetness rounded out the bright, fruity notes. Fugetsu-Do has earned its legendary reputation through generations of exceptional craftsmanship. From the incredibly fresh mochi to the diverse selection of handcrafted flavors, every piece reflects the care and tradition that have made this shop a beloved destination for decades. It has such a selection of candy from your childhood, and for kids, random unique gifts to keep them busy. but yesterday...all that flew out the window. I approached the sandwich counter and asked the person working (an angry woman apparently) what her favorite sandwiches are. After she took a minute to complain about how she had been making sandwiches all day and her brain is fried and she didn't really have any recommendations for me (and was seemingly annoyed at me even asking) she looked at the clock and advised that I was 2 minutes too late to order a hot sandwich. literally the 2 minutes she took to complain about her job cost me the sandwich. now, if it was my shop and a nice family came in and asked me my opinion on something and I took a minute or two to say the things that she said I would give them a sandwich and make that sandwich be the last sandwich of the day, but instead apparently my money wasn't green enough for her. She shut it down and two minutes later was out the door. she was rude, and honestly it just seemed that she didn't give an F. Today I called the store to speak with the owner and the person who answered the phone gave me the runaround. it was clear that either the workers didn't want to connect me with the owner or the owner doesn't want to hear the complaint. this place has gone downhill.
