Went to the Golden China in Zebulon to get food to have for dinner while I watched a movie. The…read morerestaurant itself as far as atmosphere and looks is similar to other Chinese restaurants in the area / surrounding cities. Nothing too special a tad bit dirty but nothing a quick wipe down and sweep couldn't fix so no fault there. The service was really good! The lady at the cash register made my best friend and I feel welcome and was very friendly. My best friend ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo and a side of jumbo shrimp. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo and a side of crab rangoon. Our orders were to go. The food came out quickly and we were thanked and wished a good evening. As far as the food goes it is very filling. I did feel like it could have been cooked slightly better as far as crispness / filling of the sides. The chicken was a little greasy and the rice a little bit salty. The egg roll was a little well overdone but the jumbo shrimp was really good. The crab rangoon could have a bit more filling in the shell. I still enjoyed the taste and am full! If there was a little bit more attention to detail on the food then this would definitely be a five star review! Overall I did enjoy trying Golden China.

I tried Mom's... it had a hint of taste, and alot of salt, the chicken was sparse. She tried to finish it but couldn't and she does NOT waste food! The onions, green peppers, chicken and mushrooms (yep?!) was salty. The rice... was not consumable, either it wasn't cooked completely or it was old rice with the combination of salt and the awful butter taste... I gave up. The 1star was for their kindness. We will not visit again.

We arrived to the restaurant and the waiter took the order for the drinks. He brought us the drinks, and I thought he will bring the bread, chips, etc, which are served in " all" restaurants we have eaten at. This time, the server did not bring anything. I thought, maybe they ran out of the bread and are not serving it. To my surprise, next to our table arrived a Caucasian couple, and the waiter immediately brought them the bread and sauces and was very polite. Well, I understood, they were Discriminating us, we are Hispanic; well, actually we are multicultural, because my husband is european. So this type of clients don't deserve the same treatment and service as everyone else? Or, perhaps they were upset because we did not order three course meals???? Is there a minimum amount that clients need to consume at Everest Kitchen restaurant in order to receive good customer service. One thing is for sure. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT DESCRIMINATORY AND RACIST RESTAURANT!!!!

Imperial Garden has long been my go-to place for Chinese food, but over my last few visits, I have noticed that the quality of the meat has gone down The restaurant layout is split into two rooms. The first room features booths and an elevated seating section, while the second room has tables for larger groups. The decor is simple and traditional. The service here is still very good. Although I haven't gotten my favorite waitress during my last few visits, she made a point to come over and talk to me this last time. She even remembered my exact order and that I like it prepared without onions, which I truly appreciated! Unfortunately, the beef itself seemed a little rubbery. A few of the pieces were completely fine, so I am not sure whether the meat was just overcooked or had sat under a heat lamp too long before being served. The fried rice seemed better than ever, though, as was the eggroll. I think I will need to start trying some new vegetarian or alternative dishes here on my next visits to avoid the meat, as I still really enjoy the local atmosphere and excellent service.

My partner had chicken lo mein and it was decent but little flavor. I had chicken fried rice which was inedible. The chicken bits looked like it was boiled and had were shiny chicken fat on it. It just looked wrong and tasted rubbery. I wasn't charged for this, which helped, but overall disappointed.
