Since we live in the area, we have ordered from this place a number of times. The food is good, although a bit more expensive than other takeaways in the area, is quick to prepare, and the restaurant appears clean. A nice extra would be some fortune cookies thrown in, like a lot of places used to do. A few points to keep in mind. 1. Never order beef dishes. They tend to be the lower cuts, very tough and chewy. That is often the case with Chinese takeaway places, though. 2. The young girl who is often there taking orders appears to be absolutely miserable. Never smiles, rarely can get a word out of her. No impact on stars, just something I find rather odd. I hope she is not a prisoner. read more

So sad that I spend $50 a this place plus tip. I usually go to wok and Grill on pritchard for my food when I eat out. Theywere closed for cleaning today. We googled and found Asia Cafe and it looked decent. This is around 1pm so I am thinking the food would be fresh at least. I have been eating crab ragoon for many year, Fantail Shrimp as well. They were definately refried from another time, The grease was dripping in the bag, That has never been the case, The fantail shrimp, I ordered two the first one was as said refried and hard. I just threw it away. Now the other 2 meals were great the shrimp was pretty big. The customer service was ehhh! I did not feel welcomed or appreciated like she was doing me a favor. No communication, I had to look into her eyes to get her attention as it took very long for this refried food to cook again. She finally looked at me for a second with no smile, 1 more minute and then gace full attention to the nex customer. Now upon exiting the door /window was just dirty and it could not have been from today. Respect your customers enough to sell quality food. I will never come back to this place. One thing dislike is the lack of gratitude when you do business with people. Then to serve old food is highly disrepectful. That is not ok. read more

We go here often for takeout noodles or other Chinese food. Our favorite is the rice noodles with chicken. We usually keep going back for just that. Sometimes you have to wait a little while for your food to be ready but for the most part they are pretty efficient and service tends to begood. read more

I always get the Hunan Chicken from this place and it is always so delicious. They pay attention to detail and never forget to give me chili oils that I request. Folks that complain are entitled to their opinion, but that is always a good sign to me. They are backed up because of all the business. Their shrimp egg rolls are the best I've had all over the Triangle. The Hunan chicken is always cooked to perfection and the veggie medley is loaded with only the good stuff, not filler veggies. Ordered delivery. (See picture). Everything was tasty, fair portions. Crab Rangoons seem smaller than other places however, remained delicious. Total with delivery was $43.00. Ordered Gen. Tso chicken with mixed vegetables. Wife ordered chicken fried rice. Was told it would be 15 minutes. We waited at restaurant while many pickups came and left. 45 minutes later our order was ready. Gen. Tso chicken was a concealed mess of mostly stale or overcooked chicken. Mixed vegetables had no cabbage at all even though we were told it did. We will try one more time hoping this is not normal. read more

It was absolutely tasteless. I ordered beef lomein. The slivers of beef were so small, you could barely tell it was "beef", I tried to add salt, soy sauce and chili oil, it was bland and unappealing. We order chicken noodle soup from them and got food poisoning. The smell inside was questionable and heavy on fried oil. They were our go to in the beginning when we moved to flowers area but it's been a year and im disappointed. The food progressively got worse and questionable in quality. Absoultely delicious! Our typical Chinese place was closed on Tuesdays and we found Asia Cafe which is actually closeer to our house and was open. We didnt even know this was a chinese place. Been to this place 3 times so far. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere, but in a nice little upscale center. For a small spot that focuses on take-out, it is really good. The food is pretty authentic and full of flavor. Flavor is something that I've noticed that has been lacking in many places in the area, so this place is my go-to spot. Looks like it's family run, and I totally dig that. I'm sure if you are craving an authentic dish that's not on the menu, they can whip it up for you. I seem to go here every time I'm in town. We live close by and come here sometimes. Its mediocre tasting, but it is consistently so. Mediocre tasting by design, if you will. The little girls taking the order and running the cash register and not happy to be there. It must be awful to work in a family business at their age, I can't blame them. We ate take out from here a few times a year or so back. It went through a rough spot back then I think (hence some other reviews). We were disappointed too and swore them off for a while.
