This place is either a big hit or a huge miss. The first time we had this place it was great. The fried chicken dishes were crispy in the sauce, even at home and it tasted fresh. Tonight... it was a soggy mess. The general chicken was way too soggy. Had 2 small pieces of broccoli and the white rice was so clumpy (too much water). We always order egg rolls, we switch between their traditional and their shrimp, so delicious every time. Their fried rice is good no matter what meat you choose or if you choose to go veggie! I always order the orange chicken and it is always tasty. My fiancé differs on his orders but said the boneless spare ribs are definitely his favorite. This place is going downhill. FAST. Food used to be good and full of flavor. Now you get cold, stale and sometimes raw. My usual is a dish full of spices and color (curry and saffron) the last few visits haven't had either. Just boiled noodles mixed with meat and veggies. Served with broccoli that is barely cooked; the raab was essentially uncooked and could hardly be chewed. The Hot and Spicy Shrimp was awash in a bland tomato sauce flavored with chopped onions, carrots, and a mild spice. Served with the same undercooked broccoli and Bell peppers that added a prominent taste not compatible with the dish. I have never before had bad egg drop soup. This wasn't soup at all - it was mostly water tinted probably by the eggs that lay at the bottom of the container. Exceptionally bad! as was the chewy eggroll. I hadn't gotten food from this place in about 3-4 years. I was sorely disappointed with the very poor quality of the dishes. The pork fried rice consisted of undercooked rice, tiny bits of pork and onion. It was not even the usual color of fried rice, looked anemic by comparison with all other fried rice I've ever had. For $10 this was a complete rip off. The wonton soup was edible but not great. It did have bits of scallions and pork slices in it but the broth appeared very dark and I suspect it was beef broth not chicken broth. It was served without the traditional fried noodles much to my disappointment as I did not discover this until I got it home and did not find any noodles in the bag. It would so little to improve this food, cook the rice more first, then add some stir fried fresh veggies like snow peas, water chestnuts, chinese cabbage, etc. as well as some scrambled egg bits. read more

Four stars because they lack drink offerings unless you are into bottles and cans, and it's always so hot and humid in the place to sit and enjoy your meal, regardless of the season. The Pu Pu platter has a great variety, but the shrimp is mostly batter, and the egg rolls mostly cabbage. Also not caring for minced onion in the crab Rangoon. Obviously, my personal preference. The beef and mixed veggies is a hit. Ample amounts of beef to veggies ratio. Will continue to try it her dishes to get to me go-to. Staff, friendly, efficient. Family owned. Also during the covid shutdown there was no message on their phone system with reopening details or even hours of operation. Just got nothing!
