Every single dish was high-quality, incredibly fresh, and packed with great flavor. The kitchen clearly pays attention to the details, and the portions were generous. How many people never notice that they are being over charged? I also ordered a Thai ice tea. Got my salad rolls, made in the kitchen and delivered. Still did not have my drink. He took next order and started on a third that had come in then looked at me, like why are you standing here? He finally poured premade Thai ice tea mix in a glass, added ice and then poured the cream over it. A very quick drink to fix. I received my Tofu Salad Rolls. Had 90% letuuce, one small tofu slice 1/8th inch thick and 2 inches long (only) in each roll. Did have large amount of basil leaves (which I like but many people don't and it over powered the entire taste of the salad roll. Was given a small container of peanut sauce which was only enough for one roll. My dinning companion had red curry. It was a good portion, enough for two meals. With a soda it was $20. Neither of us had a problem with the price - seemed fair. PROBLEM: service. None. Would not come and take our order at the counter or at the table (which they instructed us to go sit down). Argued over price. Never smiled. You could not understand him. He would not look you in the face or so you could read lips if that was your challenge. He was just extremely rude during our entire visit.

At the restaurant, we decided to try the basic Pad Thai and then the chicken fried rice. It was yummy but not as big of portions as I've had other Thai restaurants. (But that was ok, we didn't need leftovers anyway.) I gave only three & 1/2 stars for the following reasons. 1. Inside felt "dated" and a bit forgotten (see pics) 2. The service was "ok" I was hoping for more conversation or interest in us. 3. The area outside was very dark. It looked like the entire block was closed! 4. The curry puffs were a little expensive at $11.95 for 3 of them. (So we didn't get them) On a positive note, a nice touch was the soft music playing and the program on the tv showing beautiful images of Thailand. (See pics).
