It's almost unbelievable how much I love this place. Ichi Teriyaki 30 is our go-to takeout in Ridgefield. Everything we've tried has been excellent - the Korean Fried Chicken, Kimchi Fried Rice, both Katsus (hello curry!!!), Crab Puffs (literally devine), Egg Rolls, Bulgogi, and the teriyaki plates! And the salad dressing is so good I've bought bottles of it before. I'm sure I'm forgetting other things we've tried over the last 3 years but it's all good! Service is super friendly no matter who is at the counter, ordering is easy (online or by phone), and pick up is super simple. Perfectly crispy, packed with flavor, and coated in a sauce that's the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. Every dish I've tried here has been fresh, tasty, and made with care. Very clean store and friendly service. I ordered the chicken katsu and chicken teriyaki combo plate and upgraded to all fried rice. I think it was like $3 extra. I thought the fried rice was really good and made fresh. My kids loved it too. The chicken katsu is too thin. They need to use a different meat and panko breadcrumbs as well as upgrade the frying oil. Good frying oil is a key ingredient as it becomes apart of the flavor of the dish. Chicken teriyaki was okay. *** They give you free egg drop soup while you wait for your food. I thought that was a nice touch and helped myself to a bowl. I decided to try something new from Ichi 30, and I was slightly disappointed. I usually get chicken teriyaki, but this time i got chicken pad thai. The noodles themselves are fine, i wouldn't say the sauce they use is the best pad thai sauce i've ever had, but it's fine. My issue is with the chicken. They use the same chicken that they use in their chicken teriyaki. It just feels too large, and has a burnt, grilled flavor to it. It's not bad, it's just not what i expected from a pad thai. I would not recommend getting pad thai from this location, it's underwhelming, especially for the price ($18 and some change). read more

We stopped in to get a bite to eat, we were greeted by a masked young woman who was super super sweet and even helped us order! The food was delicious and served in a wonderful bowl full of meat!!! They have great rice a chicken here! Also the steamed pot stickers! They have steady stream of customers and their food is still fresh and hot! I understand that everything is expensive nowadays and therefore the cost that a business incurs is usually passed on to the customer. That being said, I don't mind paying a little bit more if the quality is still there. This place has not been known to be inexpensive, but you generally get a lot of food, so much so that I usually have one to two days worth of leftovers. Last night I decided to order the shrimp yakisoba and you have to pay extra for the shrimp, which is fine because I am sick of chicken and I wanted something different different. I also chose medium spice Not spicy at all and got FOUR pieces of shrimp, couple pieces of broccoli and a TON of noodles. Disappointing. Again, don't mind paying if it's worth it. This wasn't at all. Ordered a large order through Uber Eats 24 hours in advance. It was flawless. On UberEats, you can choose spicy level. I chose "10 You crazy spicy". All they did was put more sweet chili sauce on it. It was swimming in the sauce. That's not how you should make a dish hot. Orange chicken, honey chicken was good. The chicken was moist but drowned in sauce. Katsu chicken was a little dry and thin. Kimchi was good. Pot stickers were kind of dry and crispy on the edges. Rice was good. Bibimbap was good however the beef was dry. Broccoli beef was good however spilled everywhere. Tempura shrimp were as thin as a pencil (maybe a little thicker). All in all it was good. Nothing spectacular as teriyaki joints go. read more

But, what prompted me to post this review is the hostess. We decided to eat in. Our table was situated to face the front counter. As we ate, I watched their hostess handle EVERY customer with a sincere welcome, grace, a smile, and friendly demeanor that made all customers leave with a smile also. The portions are huge. The taste I wasn't too big of a fan of. I was looking for a Thai taste, this was more of a Korean taste. None of the meat in the fried rice you will be able to find not burnt. It's like they want the population to die of cancer so they can have Ridgefield back to themselves. The medium spicy was not spicy. The service wasn't amazing. I had someone pick up my order and the cashier argued with the designated picker upper regarding the method of ordering food. They're probably not very busy if they have time to stand and argue about small things like this.
