Walked in the door, several employees walked right by me without any greeting what so ever. I suppose I wasn't dressed like I had money to spend. After several minutes of making direct eye contact with at least 6 employees and still NO "hello or someone will be right with you" I deliberately walked into one of the offices and stood there until someone finally said "sorry but you can't be in here" I chuckled and said "oh now you see me, after 15 minutes, just wanted to make sure, now I will take my business to Delphos Ohio where they don't mind selling a vehicle to a working man" read more

Let me preface this review by stating right up front, I have been in the auto industry my entire life. I grew up in a Chevy dealership that my family owned in Michigan in the 1980s. My grandfather was an executive for GM for 30 years. I have worked in every department in a dealership from service porter to sales manager throughout my lifetime and I have never seen a dealership operate with such borderline shady practices and even to go so far as to say an almost callous attitude towards customers. As many others who have posted here have made notice of, this dealership seems to pride itself on bait and switch tactics by making promises and misrepresentations over the phone, internet and text when in reality, the truth becomes apparent when you spend your valuable time and arrive at the dealership. The dealership itself is really only a dealership by definition. If it weren't for the FORD sign hanging over the mailbox, you might otherwise think you were passing "BOB's House of Back Alley Cars." There was absolutely no where to park because there were used cards parked everywhere in sight. They certainly were not customer cars because there were only two other people in the showroom besides myself. I would go so far as to say that I am a little dismayed at FORD for allowing their banner to be flown over a franchise in such disrepair and dishevelment. After waiting for almost 10 minutes for one of their staff to even approach us (as they were all huddled around a tablet watching YouTube videos like a junior high cafeteria) we were told that the person that we had been speaking with for a week about our deal didn't even work there and wasn't actually part of the sales staff. They were a call center employee in another city! Now let me explain this as being unheard of! It is absolutely commonplace these days to have a BDC (Business Development Center) staff to filter calls to sales staff and provide very basic information about the dealership and vehicles. It IS NOT your primary center of contact with customers, certainly NOT your primary source of vehicle and financial information and IS MOST CERTAINLY NOT ever something that should be done off-site with a call center staffed by individuals outside of the automotive industry! I might as well go to Walmart and ask the high school kid stocking the shelves about the vehicles and financials on a lot 210 miles away on the other side of the state... Long story short (hah, I know) after driving 40 minutes each way, I was met with a completely different story about the deal than what I had taken time out of my day and driven there for in the first place. In a time when there are franchise dealerships on nearly every single corner in every single town, DO NOT waste your valuable time and fall into the traps laid out by Wapak FORD! Lastly, let me point something out to you that will further shed some light on the practices of Wapak FORD. If you'll notice, the main "review" system they use is through a company called RevLocal. This review system is one that they pay for because it allows them to filter out ALL negative reviews of their dealership and produce a fabricated and misleading score. Also, take note that of all the reviews you will find above and below, Wapak FORD ONLY responds to those that are positive. They make no attempt to contact nor work with dissatisfied customers in an attempt to rectify problems or to turn a customers negative experience around. I put in a credit app and was told by their call center representative that I was approved to work with two different lenders. I took off work and got to the dealership the customer service was great but had to be told that I had been lied to and could not get financed. If the owner is going to allow his customers to be lied to then he should sell it to someone that will be honest. At least pull their head out of their ass and be ups front and honest with people!!!!! Don't say guarantee approval if it's a lie don't play with people in that way it is bullshit!!!!! read more

After driving over an hour to look at a truck that they have on their lot come to find out they had added $12,000 to The sticker price of the truck due to what they call market adjustment. Just because there's a shortage of a vehicle it should not give a dealership the right to gouge their customers well above sticker price. read more

Absolutely no business ethics! I was recently trying to purchase a vehicle here at Wapak Ford. I made the deal with the salesman and immediately got to work on securing the financing. I was told they needed a letter from my lender stating I was approved for the loan by close of business that day. Between the time I made the deal with the salesman and the time my approval letter arrived at the dealership that day (just a few hours had elapsed) they sold the vehicle out from underneath me. If you are looking for a dealership that gives great customer service and operates with strong business ethics look elsewhere. Wapak Ford does not embody these principals. read more

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALER! They are scammers! Drove 3 hours to purchase a vehicle, after having a conversation with the sales agent he assured the car was clear carfax and no accident! Got to the dealer, vehicle was completely painted, paint job was terrible u can see clearly all the paint had run off. While taking it for a test drive I decided to stop and check the auto check since carfax was clear. I found out the car was involved in an accident! I got back to tell the manager, he was very rude and seemed to know and didn't care. Basically wasted our time drove 3 hours each way for nothing! And he ran my ssn while not discussing with me all the issues that it had. read more

Check engine light on when I purchased my truck they agreed to fix it. Bought it in July they have had it 7 weeks off and on since then. Still not fixed. They have done nothing to make this right with me. I have researched the codes my showed them the information I have found. It all leads bad to the injector. They still have not replaced any of the injectors. Worst dealership I have ever dealt with. read more

Drove 3 hours to buy a used car, after asking many questions over the phone to confirm it was worth the drive to purchase. Car was listed as having Air Conditioning, and I was told it was smoke free. Neither was true. The car also had a broken parking break. During price negotiations, $1000 worth of required "extras" was tacked on to the list price, non-negotiable. Despite all these issues, they only haggled down by about $1000, ignoring the inconsistencies in what was listed on their website. The "extras" mentioned included a $500 anti-theft system ($200 if bought privately) and a $500 paint protection (most likely a wax job). Would not recommend, this dealership is the epitome of shady salesman. read more

Worst customer service I have ever seen. Salesman was great, sales manager was obnoxious and rude. He was trying to use a Pennsylvania price quote here in Ohio. At 3 grand over window price he was giving it away for free. He got loud right in the showroom in front of everyone. Walked out as he followed still yelling. Would Not Recommend!!! read more

We will absolutely NEVER do business with this company again. We bought a car from them last month. The day after we bought it we called with an issue we found that was never disclosed to us. They had us bring the car in for a diagnostics test, and rhen had us take it to another dealership for another diagnostics test, which they covered, and told us that they would have it fixed after that. It is a $1200 issue. We have called repeatedly to have it taken care of. We have been told they are waiting for approval. We have been told they lost the diagnostics tickets. We have been told that the other dealership never faxed the ticket (keep in mind they covered the diagnostics cost). We have been told such and such is on vacation. We have been told they need to talk to sales, and call us back. We have been told no one has informed them of this issue. Nonstop run around. We have dealt with this for a month now. We called today, and asked to speak to whoever is in charge. He then proceeded to tell us that it's been a month, so it's on us now even though we have tried repeatedly to get them to do their job. So unless you want to be stuck with out of pocket expenses on top of your car loan, we recommend against this place. read more
