This was a really strange interaction. 06/15/26 we went in specifically to buy 2-3 pairs of sunglasses. But the girl with green hair running the shop that day GENUINELY seemed so annoyed to have humans in the store. Every time someone came in or left her legit seemed so bothered. She also was dead set on gas lighting the crap out of my GF which again, very strange interaction. My GF had bought a pair of glasses from that very store about year ago ish, that recently were stolen and we were trying to replace. The store clerk insisted the glasses never existed LMAO! It was the strangest interaction. She was insistent the glasses combo has never existed in the history of Ray Bans, that she was mistaken and bought something else. My gf even pulled a picture up and showed her and she was still like "ya those don't exist" . The profile showed a different pair. I'm not sure what wires got crossed, but gas lighting your customer does nothing. It truly does not hurt to say something along the lines of "oh wow, your profile is showing something else- I'm not sure what happened there. We don't have that style in stock but if you are interested, we can order you a pair that is that combo". It was such an off putting experience, I'm sure I am not explaining it well- because this back and forth gas lighting was sooooo adamant that my girlfriend never had ray bans like that was so over the top and strange. Especially since she had several pics of them . Like for what? I'm very curious why she felt so entitled. So we left and bought 3 pairs online later at home. I know a sunglasses sales associate and this girl wasn't getting our money to help her meet her sales. Some people just don't belong in customer service. read more

I walked in yesterday and the store wasn't even busy--just two employees helping a lady. No greeting, no "welcome to the store" or "I'll be right with you." When the customer left, one of the employees walked right past me without even acknowledging I was there. A few minutes later he came back with, "My bad, I didn't see you there." Really? That's the level of attentiveness? Customer service here seriously needs improvement. Basic courtesy like greeting customers and being aware of who's in the store should be the bare minimum. I've been to this Ray-Ban spot twice in a week and a half trying to find the perfect pair of violet polarized sunnies for outdoor excursions. Both times the same employee was present and he is the worst customer service employee I've seen in a long time. He seems to be incredibly unhappy working here and made me feel like a burden as well as a bit awkward. Ended up returning both pairs and opted to go to sunglass hut instead. Ray Ban staff were able to replace my broken lens for my favorite sunglasses on the spot. They had them in stock. I was out in a few minutes with sunglasses just like new. If you can spend your money elsewhere, do so. The workers here have no interest in selling to people of color. I was really looking forward to purchasing my new pair of Ray Bans, but I was completely ignored by the workers. I tried making eye contact with them but they wouldn't acknowledge me. Do not use this location. They insist on entering your prescription into their system, which takes forever. When I picked up my glasses, they immediately made me dizzy - because they entered the prescription incorrectly. On top of than that, no acknowledgement, no apology - just blank stares. I have been to this location many times and have had great experiences. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with two employees today, Steven and Angel. I had a coupon that i wanted to redeem and asked if we could redeem it in store. Angel told us that we can order it online and that it would be ready for pickup in an hour and that we could walk around the mall. We ended up ordering it online and showed him the confirmation. We took his word for it and walked around the mall for an hour. By the time the hour passed, we had to get going and so we went back to the store to see if we could pick it up. Since Angel was helping someone else out, we spoke to another employee, Steven. Steven was very rude to my boyfriend and I. He yelled at us and was very condescending as he accused us of being "Karen's". We had already purchased the sunglasses online as Angel told us to because they would be ready for pickup in an hour and that he had the glasses we bought. Steven began raising his voice at us and throwing his hands up in frustration because we wanted to pick up the sunglasses that they said would be ready. We understand that it was not in their system yet, however, our frustration is that Angel said that they would be ready in 1hour. Steven was extremely unprofessional and took it to a personal and unnecessary level when he started to raised his voice at us in front of other customers. I had to ask him "why are are you raising your voice at me?" as well, but he kept interrupting me and blaming me when I was trying to explain the situation with what Angel told us. He didn't care what I had to say. He just kept being defensive and rude to us. At the end of the day, we already bought the glasses online like Angel told us to and just wanted to pick them up when Angel said it would be ready in an hour. As we were leaving I asked for their names and once he gave me their names, he yelled at us again while we were walking out "What are you gonna do? Yelp me?". Yes that's exactly what I'm going to do and I'm also going to speak to customer service because I don't think any customer should be treated and spoken to the way my boyfriend and I were spoken to this evening. Though there are frustrations on both ends, I think there could be a lot better communication between the staff and treatment of customers. It is not acceptable to yell at your customers! I'm really disappointed and appalled with how we were treated at this store. If Yelp gave me an option, I wouldn't have even given them 1 star for how we were treated. By reading other reviews, sadly it looks like other customers have had similar experiences. This store needs to change in how they treat their customers. read more

Horrible customer service! I came in to exchange a pair of sun glasses I bought online and buy another pair as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. The girl at the front counter told me she couldn't help me with the exchange. She literally told me "You're on your own" because they weren't linked up with Ray Ban or something, even though it's a Ray-Ban store, and not a sun glasses hut, etc. I was the only customer in the store--there were two other employees--and she kept walking away from me as I attempted to navigate the Ray-Ban website on my phone to do the return. I had to ask for her help several times... she was very uninterested in me, which is unfortunate, especially when you're dropping $200 for sunglasses. My most beloved pair of Ray Bans lost a screw and the lens was falling off. I took them to Nordstrom where I had purchased them, and they could not have been less helpful. On a whim, I stopped at the Ray Ban store right nearby. The manager was so gracious and friendly, and said he could fix them and clean them up in 20 minutes at no charge if I was willing to wait. They are like new again! He reassured me that if anything else happens with them, I can bring them in at any time for repair. I was SUPER impressed with this his exemplary customer service. Run don't walk to the Ray-Ban store at UTC. They have a fantastic selection and the store is clean and bright. The best part of my experience was Paloma! She was friendly, helpful, and a wonderful conversationalist. I told her how they were my favorite sunglasses in high school, and that while trying to relive my youth (I'm now 52) I wanted to try an updated version of the classic ones. I tried on several different styles and she helped me evaluate each one honestly. I narrowed it down to two, and then she helped me with the final tough decision of which one to purchase. I ended up with the Orions. She made sure they fit me perfectly, cleaned them and had me on my way humming an old Madonna song. read more
