Insurance was covering, so price really wasn't an issue dor me. They aren't cheap, but they do amazing work. Turn around time was laid out in front of me, and they met the goal. It was a LONG process (read 1.5 months); if I didn't have a provided rental it may have affected my rating, but I did have one. Everything with the insurance process, getting me to/from the rental location, communication with me and the adjustor, and workmanship were all top notch. Ran into some issues on first attempt at a pick up, but they rectified it with fixing the issue, as well as transportation and delivery to the Irvine location. I then had wheels installed at the performance shop in Irvine. Again, it wasn't cheap, but they met all expectations. Shout out to Issa, Luis, Josh and all the of the SSR team that worked on my vehicle. If owners of high end luxury cars and supercars trust SSR, you should to. He was able to take my car in the same day. When I arrived he asked if I knew how dark I wanted them (which I didn't). My car has factory tint in the rear and I wanted it to match or closely match with the front. Alonso explained the difference in the colors and showed me how dark it would look on my car. Additionally he took his time to explain the difference in films. I felt the price was reasonable and to be honest probably the best quote I had gotten. Alonso suggested tinting my windshield also for the heat rejection but I was not sure because I have never done that before so I decided on not doing it. I would say that's my only regret now because I definitely feel the difference when the sun is in front of me. I did plenty of research prior because in the past I had not had the best experience with other businesses so when I got my car I knew I wanted to be sure the business would do a great job. I had some time this weekend, so I stopped by Audio Motorsports to get some advice and ended up just doing the install, since they could do it now, and the price they offered me was great. Nick was an excellent salesperson; he's an old-school guy with a deep history and knowledge of audio, and he helped me get off the fence with the different brands and boxes I was researching. I was originally looking at some subs for under the seat, but ended up getting a Kicker sub with Nick's advice, since he said under-the-seat subs aren't that great and, for the same price, a boxed sub with an amp will sound better. The installation took about an hour and a half, and you can either wait in-store or at a few nearby plazas to eat and wait. The install itself was clean and professional. Overall, loving the bass. I might be back soon if I upgrade the stock speakers in my ride to improve mid- and high-frequency clarity. On another note, I didn't know they also do tinting. Nick offered a good deal, but it's too bad I just recently had my tint done elsewhere. If I had known, I would have saved some money on my tint by doing it at Audio Motorsports.

Last Friday morning (9/23/22), my car wouldn't start on my driveway. It was a work day. I called my employer that I'll show up later due to this problem. I've literally called 6 auto shops in my area and Jake (business owner) was the only person that understood my situation and squeezed me in to the first in line on top of the other 10 cars they're currently servicing. The other 5 auto shops had less cars to service and wouldn't give me the time of day. I brought my car through a towing service and his team diagnosed my car. Jake gave me the option of hovering over the techs as they run their tests and despite me being a nuisance, all of them were not only friendly but also respectful as well as telling me what these tests mean and how it'll figure out the problem. All in all, it turns out there was internal engine damage. It's a 2008 Chevy Cobalt. I've owned the vehicle for 11 years and done zero maintenance (except for oil changes). Time for a new car. As I pulled out my wallet and asked how much I need to pay for the service, Jake hooked me up and said $0. $0!!! (Maybe due to sympathy or pity but I'll take it.) I'm just a stranger to him! I'm a Navy veteran. I've lived all over the country and has been to numerous auto shops and not one of them has treated me the same way as Jake and his team did. I now own a 2013 Nissan Juke.
