We used a Groupon. No major problem scheduling. We weren't satisfied with the outcome, our carpet still had pet odors. Apparently we "misunderstood " what they do. They don't extract anything from the carpet! The process is as follows: they vacuum your carpet with a 75 dollar Hoover vacuum. After that they use a big spinning brush to scrub a shampoo into the carpet, and that's it. The shampoo is left there, it isn't extracted like you would expect.... We were issued a partial refund. Two days after they left, I used a wet vac carpet cleaning vacuum. (The sort of wet vacuum you'd get at target for 200 bucks) Attached is a picture of what I got out of the carpet. Used Be Green for the first time today - had a Groupon. Alex, our tech, was absolutely wonderful. Professional, personable, polite, and thorough. Doesn't get better, does it? I would use Be Green again. The machine they used was a rotating brush, which scrubbed the carpet very well. Not being an extraction machine, I'm pretty sure it wasn't any form of deep clean, not did it actually remove any dirt, though I am equally sure that the soil was "dissolved" in the foam mixture. First off I had a hard time even scheduling an appointment, secondly after being told there were absolutely NO earlier available appointments the technician called to ask if he could come on an earlier day because he had plenty available times. What a horrible experience, what a rip-off company. We purchased a coupon from Amazon Local for 3 rooms plus a hallway. When the carpet guy walked in the door 45 minutes late (we were the first appointment of the morning) he immediately began upselling a $150 cleaning so that we would deep clean the carpets. He claimed with a regular cleaning the dirt would just seep up and make the carpet look dirtier. Sure enough he cleaned the carpet, I think without soap and it looked awful. He said he would do a deep cleaning for $100. My husband said $75 and we would take it. My carpet still looks filthy and it cost an additional $75. This company claims that because they use all natural products their carpets dry faster - usually in 2 hours. Well it is 6 hours later and my carpets are soaking wet as if someone took a hose and hosed down my house. These thieves need to be run out of town. read more

This company has a new owner now, so give them a try! Normally I use Sears but I just needed some spots done so I didn't want to pay too much. Also sometimes the crew that comes out isn't good. I bought the 4 room cleaning on groupon and scheduled my clean within 2 weeks. The guy that came out was very professional. He did a fantastic job! He used a lot less water so the carpets were dry within a few hours. He also put a deodorizer on the carpet to help with the smoke from the people who lived here before us. So far it has seemed to work with the smoke smell. He gave me a quote for the whole house and it's 25% of the cost of sears. I will be using them again! read more

Not impressed with their House Cleaning Division. Shower walls & Bathroom floors not done, I was told to make a order of importance list. I did, when she was done (early) she told me she did everything on the list. I asked if I was supposed to look over things, she said no need. Scam alert! We used a Groupon for their house cleaning services and then paid more for a third hour of cleaning. What we received was a worse house cleaning than a five year old could accomplish. Not only were items not cleaned but some areas actually appeared dirtier afterward. We did not receive the services we paid for in any way. Alex was phenomenal! I live on my own and trying to prepare my 2BDRM / 2 BTHRM apt for the cleaning took a lot of work. When he arrived, I still needed to move a king size bed and clean shredded paper underneath (I just got a puppy who loves to shred paper) so I kindly asked that he do a small section of the bedroom and I could clean and finish up. It must've been 10 minutes and I heard him progress into the living room and I stepped into my bedroom and he had cleaned and moved the bed for me! The entire room was clean! I was in complete shock and so grateful for that gesture. It was very touching and just goes to show what amazing personnel this company has. The guy was 20 minutes last. We were the first appointment of the day. It took over 8 hours to dry and it was not the special process that was described. The sanitizer seemed like a misted air fresher that they charge 40 bucks for, nothing special. The cleaning was fine as a standard carpet cleaning but they feed you a bunch of bs. read more

I bought a Groupon for this company, unfortunately before reading the reviews. Do NOT use this company. The Phoenix aspect of the business consists of a guy on the phone who seems out one tech, which means if you are terribly dissatisfied with the service and effectiveness of the cleaning you have NO other options to have someone else come out and fix the problem. The cleaning job done on the first two rooms is mediocre at best and it seems as though he ran out of time and opted to skimp on the last two rooms. The"regional manager" first tried to tell me that they use a dry cleaning process on the less soiled areas and that it will take up to 48 hours to see the effects. When I informed him that the two "dry" areas were more heavily soiled he just kept making more excuses. read more

I wish I would have read these reviews before I purchased my Groupon! It took 3 days of calling at different times and leaving messages before I was able to get a hold of someone. I live in Phx and was only able to get someone to answer when I called the number for their Albuquerque office. Turns out, they have one office that's in Denver and all of the numbers in the different states are forwarded to the one office where one girl handles appointments for all of the states where they do business. The woman on the phone assured me that it would only take 1-2 hours for the carpets to dry. The tech said it would be more like 5-6. Had I known that, I never would have scheduled an appointment for the afternoon. I originally had an appointment scheduled with Zerorez but chose this company because they claimed to be a chemical free 'green' carpet cleaning company and Groupon had a good deal. The tech kept referring to the cleaner as shampoo and said that's what it is. Shampoo is not chemical free! Btw. Spot treatment is extra. He said $50 extra but kindly took a $20 cash. Why would I get my carpets cleaned just to pay extra for you to clean my carpets!?! Overall, I'm livid with my experience. The carpets aren't bad but they're not even dry yet so who knows what they'll look like tomorrow. I feel like I should also mention that they use a portable machine that sat in my front living room. They do not have trucks with the machine in the truck. After the tech (Alex, who was great by the way) was finished he handed me 2 cards. 1 for Be Green and 1 for his business. No wonder I had so many problems! They subcontract the work out! He's not even really a Be Green technician. He owns his own company! I feel like i've been had. Overall, not happy in the least. The owner (Patrick) actually came out and explained everything he was going to do. I loved the rake, never knew there was such a thing. I just had vacuumed a few days early. He used the rake and filled his canister half way up, same vacuum I have. Treated the heavily soiled areas, stains, etc. Less water, dried fast. It's been a week since. I was waiting for soiled areas to resurface. NOTHING!!!! Very impressed, still looks very clean. I will use him over and over again. I noticed reviews that aren't good. These reviews must be old. Fred who took the order was so sweet and kind. He was very informative about how their company uses organics, etc. my tech Alex was such a gentleman and polite. He was really friendly and did a great job. My carpet looks great! It took only 1hr to completely dry. I got the groupon for $69 for 3br and 1 hallway. I also got the flash deal so it was only $51 and then the flight of stairs was an additional $56 so $107 out the door for organic carpet cleaning, the entire house and steps, absolutely no hustle, no markup, it was a great experience. Plus my cat was able to walk and lay on the carpet right away. I have to get them done once a year per my new carpet contract. I will be using them again. read more

I got a Groupon for this place and my carpets do look better. I was not super happy with the guy who did them though (can't remember his name). When I got the Groupon I called to ask if I should do the four room or five room deal because our living room was a little bigger than 300 square feet and we didn't have a hallway (which was included in both packages). When I called, they said they would go ahead and do my whole living room in exchange for the hallway. When the cleaning tech got here, he said my living room would count as two rooms and I should've bought the five room deal. I told him about my phone call and he said that my living room counted as a dining room/ living room combo because it was too big and said it would be five rooms. Okay. He then tried to upsell their sanitizing cleaner because he said the regular one wouldn't remove pet stains which I was expecting. I said I didn't want to do that. He then asked if I also wanted my closet shampooed and I asked how much it would be. He said it would be 30 extra normally but if I upgraded to the sanitizer cleaner he would do my closet and the living room for free. I was annoyed that he wouldn't do what I had called to ask over the phone br was happy to do it if I bought the sanitizer. I ended up agreeing because I just wanted my entire living room done, but I wish I had known I would've had to pay extra for my entire living room, even though I had called previously. Wasn't happy with my follow up cleaning so I took up their offer up of another 2 crew 40 minute clean up. They booked it for 2-3 weeks after which was supposed to be today (New Years Day). I get a call at 9:50 AM saying "I'm trying to scam begreen with the makeup cleaning cause I waited to long to ask for it" to which I told them "you're gonna book me and then wait this long to cancel it?" After this the whole encounter got insanely unprofessional with them claiming they had taken PICTURES of my house and saying it was "trashed" and that again I was trying to scam them. If they didn't want to offer the make up service they shouldn't have booked me for it. These guys are pricks. read more

This is the letter I wrote to this company and never received a response - To whom it may concern, I wanted to share my disappointment with the unprofessionalism of my technician. I was told instead of purchasing a Groupon I could pay the $49 with included 3 rooms and a hallway- I live in a 2 bedroom a apartment and the rep clearly stated that she could sub the hallway for my 2nd closet, which I was thrilled. The technician arrive an hour before schedule which was great! When he arrived we walked the areas, chit chatted etc. he had mention 3-4x the carpet was in great condition and by no means dirty(which it shouldn't be bc I get them cleaned every 6months) The technician kept pushing this extra $100 enzyme upgrade to clean the traffic areas so that they are stain resistant for the future. I'll be honest I didn't have the money for an extra $100 up charge but he wouldn't start the cleaning until I specifically told him look I don't have that type of money to spend on my carpet but I can spend $100 total cleaning included so do whatever you can within my budget- he said okay I can do that because it's your first time I'm allowed to discount you 35% and also proceeded to tell me that most tickets he does are $500- I was offended because I'm sorry but I live in an apartment and I don't have $500 to spend on my carpets. I shrugged off him comment and left the room so he would start the work. During the last close he said he needed to charge me an extra $10 for a spot so I said okay that's fine we are at $110 now that's all I can afford, I am on a budget. Once he finished I got out my check book - he then tells me I can only pay with card... well nowhere in any of my confirmation emails does it say card only... so I get out my card and he shows me a bill for $169... I then told him that is not what we discussed and I can't pay that. He then played dumb as if we didn't come to an agreement earlier, he then said he could discount something on my invoice for a penny and that's it. Also on my invoice he charged me $59 for the cleaning not $49 like I was told on the phone, and no where was like 35% discount he said he could offer. I felt taken advantage of and now have to figure out how to come up with the extra $50 that he charged. Once he was packing up I noticed large water puddles all over my hardwood floor that he didn't offer to clean and he had the nerve to ask me if I would carry his machine down the elevator for him... I was very offended, after he had lied to me and cost me money I don't have. I'm sorry to write this but I have two kids to feed and this upsets me. read more

Like others who have commented on here, we purchased a Groupon. When I tried to make an appointment, I followed the instructions on the Groupon and called. The recording said for faster service, I should text. I texted, and then got a response that I should go online to book the service. I went online to book it, and received a message that the online booking wasn't working, so it gave the same number to call! It was kind of funny, and those things happen. So I called again and finally spoke to someone. I explained that I needed a full cleaning for move-out of a rental unit and the carpets cleaned. She said I needed two separate appointments for each service. Fine, no problem. We scheduled them both. I received emails confirming each --- the carpet cleaning with the correct date/time, the house cleaning with an incorrect date/time. I responded to the email with the house cleaning info to make the correct and never received a response. But the night before the correct date, I got an email confirmation, so they must have corrected it. As we had already moved out of the house, we waited around during the arrival window of 2-5 PM. Nobody ever showed up. I called, but just reached a recording because it was out of hours. I never got a call back, but I did get a text message telling me there was no record of my appointment. I responded that I received an email confirmation, so there clearly was a record. No response. I emailed to complain and cancel the second appointment. No response. Then I got an email confirming the second appointment. I immediately called and got the same recording, so I left a voicemail cancelling the second appointment. I assume somebody got the message and cancelled it, because nobody showed up. But then again, that doesn't seem to mean anything! In the end, we never received any services and absolutely no communication in response to these issues. Groupon gave us a refund, and I strongly suggest you don't bother trying to deal with this business. It was a horrible experience!! read more

Let me start off by saying, I'll never use them again!!!! I have a preference carpet guy (gns), which I should of used! But my daughter bought it so figured I'd give them a chance. They came out day after thanksgiving they were early a few minutes, no problem. The guy, don't know who, weaseled a 100$ for oxidation; supposedly! I first said no, then my husband said yes, they guy had said if I don't get it I'd be mad that my stains were still gonna be there if I didn't get it, well, guess what!!?? Low and behold we purchased the "oxidation" as he called it, and my stains ARE STILL THERE!!! So I guess either way I was going to be mad! We followed his procedures! horrible! it doesnt clean your carpet. they rake your carpet, some of it anyways use a floor buffer. if you want a scent to your carpet you have to pay 45.00 more. No sucking up the dirt. They just use the rake to pull from fibers, I vacummed a little rug they cleaned and so much hair and dirt came up. Now I have to go and get a rug doctor to clean my carpets. Bought off of groupon. Total crap!,,, I have after I vacummed pic. Also they use a regular household vacuum to vacuum rug for you. My own vacuum could have picked up better.They say the so called foam is like magic, picks up the dirt with no suction or water needec to clean carpet??? My carpet looked a little clean when they were done. Now carpets dry looks the same. Overall I am very pleased with be green and their service. I got a deal through living social and when Alex showed up he did a thorough check of the condition of the carpets and convinced me to add sanitizer to my order. The next day every room and staircase was great except one room downstairs office. It had a very strong pet odor I was not expecting especially since I had paid for sanitizer. I called the company and Adam was wonderful saying they stand behind their work and will make it right. I ended up waiting another day to see if the smell would dissipate and it did not fully and when I spoke to Adam again he scheduled me for the next day and promised it was covered under the warranty. However, the next day I got a different technician who tried to upsell me 2 more sanitizer treatments. After explaining that I would not be paying any more he grudgingly agreed to shampoo again but then part way through he said he could not go on without sanitizer and he 'refused to pay out of his pocket'. Luckily I was able to get Adam on the phone again and get my treatment completed. I am glad the overall company stands behind their work... and if you live in the Phoenix area I would recommend asking for Alex to do your treatment! He was much less strong arm and offered me a much better price for stairs than the second guy told me. read more

hiring "be green" carpet cleaning was the most horrible experience i have ever had. it cost $827.00 to clean a 2000 square foot house. i have used several companies in the past and it never cost more than $300. they promised not to clean the "new" area rugs. then they charged us $218 for the area rugs. there was no break down for the prices, we had to call the manager in phoenix to find out what we were charged. they broke closet doors and knocked down a photo off the wall. on their website it shows that they power rake the carpet before cleaning it. they never mentioned that was an extra cost. there was no power except man power. the charge was $39.95. they said they would remove pet stains but they are still here. they told us they would use a deodorizer and the house smells no different. they said they would spray something to stop the carpet from getting soiled again. i don't smell that either. we were charged for all of these procedures. they asked me to leave the house because of the chemicals they used. i am on oxygen and chose this company because it was "green". my husband took me to out and when he returned he was given the final bill. he thought he owed the money even though he asked several times what the cost would be. they put him off saying i will let you know later. they took a brush to our sofa and the dust went flying. i thought he was going to do more bushing so i asked them to take it outside so the dust wouldn't get all over the house. he took the sofa and matching chair outside and then asked me if i wanted it donated to a battered woman's shelter. that is not what he did. he called someone other than them and they picked it up. now i have to replace our furniture instead of them cleaning it. they would not say what the cost would be to clean those pieces of furniture. this is disgusting to me. we have several other issues that i am not going to discuss. i wrote this so no one gets taken like we did. it is a sham and no one should do business with these people. enter at your own risk, be aware. don't let this happen to you. read more
