The first thing you is how beautiful the grounds are. From there it just gets better and better. You see the horses out in the pasture gently grazing often looking up to check you out.

    He is saying "hello".

Such a beautiful experience, the horses have such a an amazing temperament, they are funny and sweet. I recommend this to anybody who loves horses. The guide was exceptionally knowledgeable. I wish I could remember her name.

Budwieser (Anhieser Busch) Ranch where they base the Clydesdales live, work and play. Reservations are needed but it's awesome. I don't even like beer and I went. Unfortunately since they didn't have an outing booked we didn't get to see the full dress parade view with all the polished harnesses, medallions and required dalmatian. We were introduced to up and coming youngsters in training and some working horses to brush and comb. We also had photo sessions with a statesman Clydesdale who patiently waited as we gathered to get in a picture together. The Ranch staff are friendly, helpful and so knowledgeable about the history, care for the Clydesdales and everything associated with being ready for the shows, events and parades they are a part of. We didn't book until the day before so we were lucky to book the "Becoming a King" tour. It was terrific, our only spoiler was Missouri was in the middle of the most intense heat wave with Temps in the high 90's. Felt bad for the horses outside but most had shade cover so they looked very mellow. If you can, book a tour it's so interesting and fun. Thanks Warm Springs Ranch for a great tour. I even drank my free Bud. Intense heat makes a cold beer taste so much better!

Very clean and beautiful horses. Staff friendly and knowledgeable! Clean barn! The mares that had foals were clean and well cared for in spacious stalls. Staff kept their bedding fresh . Bathrooms were clean. Gift store needs to be a bit bigger.prices a bit high. The grounds are beautiful!

Good tour. Learned things about breeding and raising Clydesdale horses. Impressive how much effort and money is put into their care.

I feel lucky to have had Michael Lear as our guide, he was absolutely brilliant and was a stellar storyteller! The prison itself is very interesting, has alot of history behind it and honestly a little chilling. Hearing about its dark history really makes you stop, think about life and human existence. The parts about solitary confinement and how tiny the cells were with several people stuffed in were especially shocking. Michael even took us down to the basement solitary area and turned off the lights for a full minute so we could feel what it was like. That part gave me chills. We also got to see the prison cells from the 1800s all the way up to more recent ones, and even the gas chamber. It was intense but very eye-opening. I highly recommend this tour 1000%! And if you are lucky enough to have Michael as your guide, you're in for something fascinating. He also has a Missouri murder history podcast which is definitely worth checking out and supporting - It is called Show Me Murder. To conclude, thanks MSP for such an unforgettable experience!

I was lucky enough to do the full eight hour overnight investigation, which means about 40 to 50 people with near free rein over three massive prison buildings in the middle of the night. Most of the time was spent breaking into small groups and exploring the grounds looking for paranormal activity, and for me that meant just me and one friend wandering dark cell blocks and corridors that felt completely abandoned. This is absolutely not for the faint of heart because there are long stretches where you truly feel alone, surrounded by silence, shadows, and your own racing thoughts. There were plenty of spine chills, more than a few moments where I questioned my life choices, and by the end of the night I walked out a full believer. It was intense, unforgettable, and easily one of the most fascinating and highly recommended adventures I have ever done.

Our tour guide was Avery and he was fantastic! From the middle that we stepped out to take a picture in front of the cave until we exited through the gift shop. It was a great experience. From the moment we stepped inside, our guide Ella was gneiss as can be, sharing tons of history without taking it for granite. The winding passages are truly stalagmite-ic (okay, maybe just stunning!), and exploring the very place that inspired Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn totally rocked our world. It's a cave-in-your-plans kind of attraction--don't skip the gift shop either, it's a gem. We had a sedimentary sort of day just soaking it all in, but honestly, it was ore-inspiring from start to finish. Five out of five stars, we will never chalk this up to a bad experience! I do recommend pants and closed toe shoes if you are on the colder side.
