Nicoletta at Pretty Tasty Bakery initially confirmed availability for my event and discussed dessert ideas, but after a short delay in my response (due to travel) she suddenly told me she was no longer available on that date and had taken on another client, without ever following up or notifying me. In fact, had I not emailed, she would have never had the initiative to notify me. Any professional business would reach out to the client if another order came in for the same date, but instead she booked others without warning.
