The people, vibe, and great coffee have made me a regular at this gem of a coffee spot. The team is always genuine and welcoming... the kind of place where you feel like a regular even if you've only been a few times. They roast their own beans, rotating pour-overs and drip options. Their cold brew isn't a concentrate formula; it's fresh, done in batches, and one I put high on my list of good cold brews. While I often go for black coffee, their house-made syrups... Earl Grey, seasonal, you name it... are a fun treat. They also put real thought into their seasonal menu, which is always a fun addition alongside the regular staples. The seating is great inside and out, whether I'm working solo or meeting up with others. Always have a great mix and rotating styles of music palming with a cool style inside. And while the food selection is decent... I'm still lobbying for a breakfast burrito. That said, they rotate a quiche, including a feta and tomato one that's a solid win. Warm Waves is just one of those spots that's easy to root for. Great coffee, thoughtful details, and even better people. Great local coffee shop. A bit pricey, but welcoming and they have some fresh goodies for sale. I ordered a cappuccino and with tip it came out to be about $7. Note that out front is a bus stop location for the middle school kids, so it gets busy around 8:30 am on the weekdays. Other than that, no problem getting some n and out. Staff is very efficient. This is such a cute coffee shop that I should have visited a while ago since it's so close to my house. I've passed by here many times on the way to the Suwannee town center and decided to stop in after my morning run. There were already a good amount of people sitting at the tables on the patio around the shop and people at every table when walking in. The counter is right in front, displaying their oatmeal, pastries, and various drinks in the fridge. I ordered two of the seasonal Island Breeze matchas that were prepared within a couple minutes. I don't normally order matcha but I wanted something different than coffee and was pleasantly surprised. It had the perfect sweetness and creaminess to it while still getting a genuine matcha taste. The decor drew me in as well, with pops of color all around the shop. I'd definitely come back here for another seasonal drink and to bring a book or my laptop. read more

Cute cafe near Suwanee town center! Pretty decorations all around! The host/barista was very friendly and quick with the order. Coffee was delicious! They also sell their beans if you want to use at home. They have a lot of unique lattes as well as seasonal variations that I want to try when I go back. Parking is a bit tricky especially when Buford Hwy is busy since it's only street parking. However, it's great to take out for a coffee on a stroll at the new suwanee park. read more

Cute and convenient coffee shop close to Suwanee town center. I parked in the parking lot right behind the shop. They have a bunch of retail spots. The patio space is great to enjoy coffee and their bakery treats. The coffee shop is pretty busy in the mornings. When I went; there was only 1 person working to take the orders and make the coffee so it may take a few minutes. I got the cortado (10/10) and almond croissant (10/10). It was my first time checking out the new Suwanee location and it was so cute and cozy! Parking is a little tricky since it's street parking but there are some apartment complexes and even Suwannee town center lots that are not that far away from the shop. The Alpharetta location is much bigger and its easier to find a spot to sit inside. However this place does have some outside seating which would be nice on a warm day. The vibes were a 10/10 & they are pet friendly! I got the beehive latte which was like a spicy honey latte and it was so good 8/10 & also tried the brown sugar matcha latte 7/10. The matcha was really smooth but the taste was very faint. The workers were super friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The interior decorations are all the vibes and so cute, very Instagram worthy. This place didn't have much of a selection to choose from. The coffee was basic. The acoustic was horrible. Very echoey and the furniture was screechy. The decor was dainty. I was trying to open the fridge and a bowling pin was in the way. Don't know what that was about. I think the theme is '96 Olympics which is cool. There were posters and magazines propped on the shelf not securely and could probably fall over next week. The staff was pretty nice and the coffee came out promptly. I dont know if I will be back. I had to park across the street and cross Buford hwy. read more

I love Warm Waves Coffee! I am so happy that they opened their second location in Suwanee Town Center. Their corner location is great and the patio they have is even better! I stopped by to try their new Spring menu and it was so good! My favorites were the Strawberry Moon Matcha & the Almond Croissant. Their cinnamon rolls are a must try too! This was my first time trying an Ube Latte and it was so good! So much sweeter than I expected, but not too sweet. I love how most of their drinks can be iced or hot and they have classic menu items and a rotating seasonal menu too. Lauren was my barista when I went and she was the sweetest human. I can't wait to come back to drink some coffee and eat a pastry on the patio! Check this place out for sure! read more

Such a cute coffee shop located below an apartment complex. There was some parking spots behind the building which made it super convenient to visit. Not too many indoor seating spots but they have a great patio! The inside decor was super cute. I ordered the matcha latte and my friend got a chai with a shot of espresso. The chai was great and the espresso shot was very rich! The matcha I got however wasn't the best, the matcha flavor was faint and tasted mostly of milk and vanilla syrup. I recommend trying something else. Overall the baristas were friendly and even remade my matcha! I think it just may be the matcha powder they use. I liked the aesthetic of this place and would probably come back to get something else. I noticed they have a couple unique drinks of their spring menu and I would love to try those instead next time. Would recommend coming on a sunny day to try out their patio. read more

Love this place! Drinks and service are always phenomenal. I usually come on Sunday mornings and it's never been too busy at this time. My go-to is an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. Not sure what brand of oat milk they use but I like it. My favorite thing about this shop is that the lattes are never too milky, or weak in flavor. Some places have rather weak/watery espresso, which is easily overwhelmed by whatever milk is added. Here though is a very well balanced latte. It's strong yet smooth with no bitterness. I've never tried their pastries but the case is beautiful and fully stocked. The seats (both indoor and outdoor) are consistently clean and I've never had an issue with crumbs or spills being left on tables. Puppies are welcomed to the outdoor patio I also love how the interior is decorated. The baristas are very friendly and make me feel welcomed & at home. This location overlook several apartment buildings, and even though it is right on the street, it's still relatively quiet. Please do yourself a favor and come here! read more

Super good coffee and friendly service. We got an almond croissant and a chocolate chip cookie. My son didn't care for the cookie as it seemed to have some other flavor element (can't place my finger on it) that he didn't like. It was a big, fluffy, gooey cookie, which I am completely here for. Croissant was fresh and yummy. No cheap, old pastries that seem like they came from the gas station. Cute place with a pleasant, upbeat and clean vibe. Love the note stuck on the wall in the restroom - "assume the best in the people around you." We need more warm vibes with good coffee versus the stuffy baristas with old pastries. The coffee and tea menu has just the right amount of options ranging from the classics to Warm Waves originals. Their drinks are absolutely lovely and well-balanced in flavor (not too sweet and not too bitter) hitting the spot with every sip. I had the Iced Matcha Latte ($4.25 for 16oz) and it was a joy to drink! You can tell from the first sip that the matcha is high quality and I loved how it wasn't masked by sugar or syrups. My boyfriend had the Chai Latte ($4.50 for 16oz) and the drink was delightful- perfect balance of spices and a smooth drink on the palette! You can taste the freshness and it makes it an enjoyable drinking experience. The service was very fast and all the staff was very friendly as well!
